Finally, my blood began to coagulate,
I really did not think this would eventuate.
But now there’s hope I will not exsanguinate,
because I feel my blood now hemagglutinate.
Remain in my blood vessels and just circulate
perfusing all my organs and accelerate
my wellbeing so I’ll not deteriorate
Instead, my condition will reinvigorate.
So, I will live another day to celebrate
the fact, that I should see another birthday date.
Not be a statistic for mortality rate
by bleeding to death, failing to resuscitate.
Please, let this be a lesson not to overstate
the survival secret one must not lacerate
an organ that could bleed out and necessitate
the need then for your blood to just coagulate

If I Die, Bury Me With Pencils
My sense of smell is gone.
Acetone is empty air.
The cough
attempts to cut the mucus from my lungs,
expell it from my lungs.
The fibers of the swab penetrated my flesh,
cotton against capillaries;
armies clashed with red and white blades;
sent to Jefferson City,
results unknown for 48 hours
to week.
But, doctor expects it to be
positive.
The x-rays
did not look good.
“Go home.”
“Quarantine.”
“Hydrate.”
“Call 911 at first sign of trouble breathing.”
“Things go downhill fast.”
Mortality rate of intubation of covid cases in New York City is 80%
Obesity increases mortality rate.
I wait for my test,
almost breathless,
but not yet.
Crossing my bedroom floor, I look down
and find an unopened package of papermate mechanical pencils,
the school bus yellow kind,
with the good erasers,
and the turning tip with the spinning spring inside that jockeys the graphite out,
perfect for drawing, writing, geometric constructions,
all the things that free the soul,
all the things where anything is possible,
where good and life flow sunlight
and lungs are worlds away.

Poor Mr. Darwin
If only he could know
That genus homo (sapiens)
Created modern medicine
And that old familiar adage
Has virtually died
No room for natural selection
When a low zygote mortality rate
Gives them such great pride
They don’t purify our gene pool
But pollute it
With that ignorant and inhumane
Save the ‘baby’ campaign
And lest you think ‘eugenics’
So very wrong you’d be
The point is not control of life
But letting nature be
And this includes the right to choose
For those who bear the weight
To opt to grow the fruit
Is our responsibility
And if we do not change the course
And live sustainably
An optimistic omni-view
Should clear Charles’ frowning face
They said on ‘Wild Wild World of Animals’
“Evolutionary errors are quickly erased”

THE ‘I’ POD
What do you do when life becomes all about I and Me? What do I want, what do I need, what would I like to be when I grow up. What kind of life do I want, what do I aspire to be.
How can I profit from this world, how can I benefit from this life? So I live in this Pod consumed by all the things that I want.
Peeking out only momentarily to witness the sufferings of others. D murder rate, D kidnapping rate, D mortality rate, D child abuse rate. And just the mere thought of the happenings around the I, send I back to the pod.
But is my Pod and I control what comes and goes within that pod, and oh what a beautiful Pod it is.
It’s my pod, the ‘I’ POD.

The situation in my country is terrifying
I wish I can do something gratifying,
Selfishness and corruption by leaders are annoying,
No job,no food ,no water,in a land flourishing
with resources and its occupants are crying,
Mortality rate increases for many are lacking,
Diseases, malnutrition and social vices are thriving,
due to negligence, misappropriation and lack of funding,
From generation to generation this parasite is spreading,
And the vectors and co-vectors foster by multiplying,
I`m bold,educated and ready to die,not compromising,
but I have to join their party to be leading,
Join their party!be like them!what am I thinking?
I can`t sell my conscience because of governing,
If I`m an officer,I would have risen to do general cleaning,
but that era has gone, military government is damaging,
while this cosmetic democracy is more disturbing,
Divine intervention is sought and I`m waiting;waiting!
by soaking my bed with tears daily, weeping!,
Lame and paralyzed I watch the little ones, suffering,
while a few biggies misuse and waste the wealth by deceiving,
Hmm!hmm!I can`t take this anymore!,it is killing.

Philippines ballooned and floated over poverty
Population exploded and still exploding molding the humanity
And reached 101,833,938 mortals in the society
With just a matter of 115,830 sq. miles
Approximately 879 Filipinos in every square mile
Really just a wink of an eye rate of mortality growth
As the 55th poorest nation in the world, CONTROL is a worth
But not through B.C. with RH Bill
Where artificial control of mortality rate spill
" Against the bill, this is just a MESS "
That's all ... Less talk ...Mistake be Less...

B.C. - birth control

I often wondered how it would be
to live with a separate specie of humanity.
2% in either direction, be it higher birth or lower mortality rate.
2% was the simple equation that decided the Neanderthal's fate.
Had that simple 2% been attained by the Neanderthal,
they'd be with us today.
I often wonder if with our children theirs would play.
2% in either direction and they would have never become extinct at all,
but they are better off extinct, I must say sadly.
Look at the way we treat each other so horribly.
If Neanderthals existed presently
I'm sure that they'd all be persecuted very gravely.
The Neanderthal's extinction simply came to be
because they couldn't compete with a human specie as intelligent as we.

Last telling the tale of the lovely Kate
About to ask for our first formal date
The Gods had decreed her to my collection plate
Quenching the thirst for Satan's mortality rate
I question where to make the first incision
Transverse above the breast my decision
Organs opening as flowers once bloomed
Soon to be desecrated under the soil entombed
The garden's daffodils n' roses of varying hues
Crimson pinks, scarlet shades of violent blues
She is soiled and defiled and bears another's child to the naked eye unforeseen
The shower's steam sparkle n' gleam, as I carve the liver and oh such a tender spleen
The pericardium fluid washes away the liver's bile, an ultimate climactic aquamarine
Fondling the liver I can almost forgive her for she herself a mere child seventeen
Dazzling brilliant ruby red droplets, create pattern from this intimate splatter
I'm calm and composed not like Alice's friend the chaotic brain scattered Mad Hatter.

The only other choice that the Neanderthals had
was to retreat and to move on or they just might make us mad,
and if we'd get mad, Neanderthal lives could be lost,
If we wanted their territory, We'd just take it by force.
The Neanderthals fate did not deserve to be received,
at least that's the viewpoint I've chosen to believe.
For 250,000 years
they endured the harshest living conditions known to humankind,
but another human specie was now encroaching
and many more of them were not far behind.
2% in either direction,
be it higher birth or lower mortality rate.
2% is the simple equation that decided the Neanderthal's fate.
Had that simple 2% been attained by the Neanderthal,
they'd be with us today.
With our children theirs would play.
They would have never become extinct at all,
but who is to say that if they survived to this day
that we'd embrace them as sister and brother.
We've come so far since then as an advanced specie
and yet look how horrible we treat one another.

What is free about this market?
What is free in this market?
We are free only to see
With no power to buy that we need.
Nothing is free in this free market
Except for hunger in poverty.
Workers are freely laid off
Graduates chewing unemployment freely
Mortality rate from 70 freely flow to 52
Illness and deaths are handed over to us free
When are we going to free ourselves
Off this free market?
Time to un –free ourselves from West’s market
And plan centrally our market for the
Millions not the Millionaires.
