Wolf Moon

Pack of wolves
Ghouls of survival
Howl in perfect wind pitch
Like old women
Out there somewhere
Collapsed in the woods
Sobbing from an unbearable accident

Time shall not reverse

True predator

A Super Moon rises
From the backside of a lake
Leaping
Over the banks of silver cloud hedgerows
Like a panicked galactic deer
Running for its life

Looking back at me
With astonishment
As if to say

Run you fool run!

Mellow Moonglow

A man, a woman.
An awesome starlit night.
The moon, hums above.

Hands embraced,
He hides a velvet box.
Overflowing with love.

He asks her the question.
She cries and whispers, “yes”....
A wedding is planned, I guess.

Whispers In the Moonglow

whispers loving of devotion
beneath the dazzling midnight stars
caress of glitter warm across our skin

time standing muted still
locking soulmates in a bond
mightier than eternity

in a silence not broken
save cherished whispers
in the moonlight glow

Moonlight Madness

In the jaundiced light of the pock-marked moon,
Nevada nights many strange visions have seen
But few match spring time rapidly rutting rabbits 

Racing and romping in moonlight madness;
Frolicking free in a sagebrush sea
Amidst white-crested mountain waves;

While whirlwinds swirl and in playas play
One hundred and forty fathoms deeper
Than luna-limned beach strands of dry lake shores.

Bobcats lurk in

Moonglow

The moon bathes trees
in a celestial glow
like angel wings laying on star-shine
and looking at her,
she becomes a live portrait
flickering in tandem with all
of heaven's collage
splashed before my eyes--
a miracle occurring as creation
rests, unknowing this grandeur
is for its nocturnal pleasure.

Autumn moonglow magic
A feeling magnetic


Luna aura insight
Touchy feelings delight


High above the night sky
Where sleepy dreams now sigh


Bright the floating moonglow 
A tryst in dark that shows


Here I stand with fondness
Glimpses of sheer gladness


The misty autumn fog
Now drifts across to hog


Stillness in silence late
Here upon the wooden gate.


No soul in sight tonight
To watch the moonglow light!

May's autumn pulse flows
Yes cold draft now shows


Sight of the full moon
Touch of midnight noon
Insight feels fond boon


Calm suburban tints
Meek silence now mints
Observe stillness hint


Opt to heed the light
Note how dark moves sight
Glimpses of star light


Less is more right here
Oblige a calm cheer
Work a silent sphere


Obtain thoughts that style
Voice succinct worthwhile

Late hours ply poise
Hurl night time voice


A night sky deep
As darkness creeps


Stray breeze feels cool
As slumber spools


Cats roams these streets
As midnight greets


Late night skyline

Dark is the night
In mystic sight


Moon spreads blue tints
As echoes mint


Cats in full spree
Gang up with glee


Sleep does not come

Tonight the moon
Speaks clear and bright;
A midnight noon
That feels most light.


An aura bright
In soft blue hues;
New moon I sight
As feelings cue.


She spells her cast
Of luna urge;
As if at last
Warm paths converge.


In simple sighs
That say so much,
A glowing high
Blushes crisp touch.


Moonglow magic
In shades of blue;
So magnetic
Light rains on you.


Evening walk
Along the way;
Indulge self-talk
In dazzling rays.

Mid-autumn moon
In the night sky,
A luna noon
With aura high.


Moon cakes and tea
As we sit here,
Moonglow tells me
How wonder cheers.


Lanterns now sway
In windy breeze,
Children at play
Feel frolic squeeze.


We gather round
This moonlit night,
Feel joy now ground
Our pure delight.


By this lake side
The moonrise shines,
A skyline tide
Of clouds float fine.
