Moondusts Poems

Premium MemberIn Still Time

In the dark night time stops to flow,
broken hands of quiet clock show
how desolate pathos could be
in wasteland of still life lonely.
Sunrise time the clock maker knows.

Clumped clouds gleam in astral halo,
moondusts flush ground in silver glow.
The star of hope shines remotely
in the dark night.

Lost dream descends on land fallow,
bare trees suck it in wood hollow,
wait for the sunrise, crave to see
clouds melt, rains rinse green canopy.
In still time hides the bright morrow
in the dark night.

The cold sun sets after blazing the firmament,
the dust of the dying day settles in the hazy horizon,
the birds return to their nest deserting the sunken sky.
As the grey grains of the gloomy night descend
through the drowsy dusk of my life
the clouds of despair drift in the mind.
In its shadow as I wait for the distant dawn
I see the maroon moon rise, turn into silver slice.
The moondusts spread cerulean serenity in the air
where freed from the sullen darkness
my mind floats on demure dreams.
The mystic moonbeams shimmer in the serenading soul,
compose a new music of life in the rhythm of ecstasy.

STILL TIME IN THE DARK NIGHT

In the dark night time stops to flow,
unmoving hands of the clock show
how desolate pathos could be
in wasteland for still life lonely.
Sunrise hour clock maker would know.

Clumped clouds gleam in astral halo,
moondusts flush ground in silver glow.
The light of hope shines remotely
in the dark night.

Mystic hope enshrouds land fallow,
bare trees soak it in wood hollow,
wait for the sunrise, wait to see
clouds melt, rains make green canopy.
In still time hides the bright morrow
in the dark night.

Perishable Summer's Scenery

~~~~~~~~~~   ^-^   ~~~~~~~~~~
Alluring nymphalid brandishing its ala
Cavorting trees as sultry monsoon gusts
Gleaming aureated daystar delineated in ripples
Enticing milieu under quixotic aestival moondusts.
Dehydrated rivers in a sudden, scrounging an incessant deluge
Red - charring enthusiastic sun fired like hell
Complicated seasonal change - puzzling...neurons evaporating
Tormented - dried terrain, vista...jiffy alteration - no well.
                                                                            ~~~~~~~~~~   *-*   ~~~~~~~~~~

Summers' Child

A winter passed
Quiet and still
A spring came
Leaves grew fast
The good earth
Became green at last

With the dawn
In early summer
In an emerging pink sky
A girl was born
To Moondust
Her first cry

The birds sang high in the blue
The word was passed
All of magic knew
Of Moondusts’ faerie child
Aquilas’ joy

Faeries came to see
The Moondust queen
That in summer
A girl was born
In our room
Filled with light
Love
Magic
Such joy was seen

The Place of the Rising Moon

The rising foot hills
Made the air crisp and clear
Moondusts’ horse playfully nibbled
Our shoulders
We loved to have him near

Such tall trees
of Redwood, Beech and Fir
So many small flowers
We passed on our way
The colours
Like jewels
On an emerald blanket, they lay

The sparkle in Aquilas’ eyes
Is for me
That mortals
Have magic too
They just don’t know it
Yet, I sense it
Powerful and strong
In the love of my poet

 I sense here
We will find soon
The nest
Of us
In the place of The Rising Moon

The night will bring
A Rising Moon
In it’s silver light
Our place, our home
Our everything

Such clear light
From the moon and stars
In the valley
We could see the castle
Our place, our home
Our everything

I felt the warmth
Of Aquilas’ hand
In mine
This is more than magic
The place of the rising moon
In the Valley of Stars
It is in the grand design

That Evil Can Seep

Across the bridge

In to the depths

Of the other side

I felt the faint prickle

Of something

Not alive

Moondust felt it too

Of cold winds

Tattered cloaks

Blowing through

Moondusts’ horse

Whose name is known only to her

Shivered and snorted

The rising cold air

Let us leave this place

My longbow unsheathed

Arrows of brown and gold

At the ready

Moondust magic

The light wreathed

I felt it deep

Moondust too

That evil can seep

In to beauty

And stain it in darkened hues

As one

Evil cannot prevail

For love

Beauty and magic

Stars

Will never fail

It cannot divide

What lies within

Will never hide

It bursts forth

Soft amethyst light

Washing away

The stain of the night

Moon Shadow

I held my Moondusts’ hand
Across the night
She took me
Where I wanted to go
In moonlight
In moon shadow
