Summers' Child

A winter passed Quiet and still A spring came Leaves grew fast The good earth Became green at last With the dawn In early summer In an emerging pink sky A girl was born To Moondust Her first cry The birds sang high in the blue The word was passed All of magic knew Of Moondusts’ faerie child Aquilas’ joy Faeries came to see The Moondust queen That in summer A girl was born In our room Filled with light Love Magic Such joy was seen
