Mismanagement Poems | Examples

Good, the Bad, the Ugly

I
A savings account on Bay & Bloor -
Toronto Dominion Bank (sold?)
My thousands frozen, yet not gone
Reminder: Anil, are you a good steward?

II
Three flats in Pretoria, South Africa
Left with Property Management Company
HUURKOR, now five decades old
Broke contract when my rent was short

III
After six decades on planet earth
I confess, I "ignored" money always
Somehow I got food, clothing, travel
Has Jesus picked up my slack?

Premium MemberMy Job Or My Life

My job or my life. It should be an easy choice, but it isn’t.
I really love my job.
And I am kind of fond of my life.

If I go back to work during this pandemic,
I will be exposing my health to over a thousand people a week.
I have been too frightened to leave my house for six weeks.

My job or my life.
The choice should be easy
But it isn’t.

Mismanagement

Mismanagement

Cut the staff
Expect more done
Never say thank you
To anyone
Take the credit
Pass the blame
Things go wrong
Its what’s his name
Initiative
This must be banned
Make staff juggle
Then tie their hands
Ignore concerns
From everyone
An overlooked problem
Is a problem gone
Grab your bonus
The lions share
Tell the workers
There’s nothing spare
Set out targets
Impossible to reach
While quoting the nonsense
Of the team spirit speech
Show ingratitude
Be unclear
Then cut more staff
In the coming year

Anger Mismanagement

At Al's last anger management session,
Al tried hard not to use anger as a weapon,
till the doctor gave Al his bill,
Al was a lot less than thrilled,
now he's paying for the doctors hospital bill as well.

Anger Mismanagement

I
want
to
undress
you
and
leave
you
dressed,
I
want
to
exhume
the
scum
that
lies
trapped
deep
down
the
mines
of
your
shallow
brain,
I
want
to
slice
you
open
with
screaming
double
edged
whispers,
Buy
spectacles
for
your
blurred
vision,
So
that
you
can
see
the
shine
i
am
pointing
at,
That
you
are
mocking
with
your
behind,
I
want
to
eavesdrop
into
the
conversation
of
your
mind
and
heart,
I
want
to
cross
examine
both
your
heart
and
mind,
Try
to
find
out
what
they
did
when
this
whirlwind
came
running,
I
wang
to
be
mean
and
be
the
words
that
i'm
speaking,
Rain
down
on
you
heavily,
Till
you
drown,
I
want
to
push
you
down
the
abyss
that
you
dug
for
yourself
and
watch
as
you
go
down,down
and
down,
Then
i
will
unleash
every
bit
of
dirt
upon
your
sorry
being,
Letting
it
follow
you
down
your
doomed
path,
Forever.
