Thus brighter spots in a deadened swamp
Do become trapped in viscous sap
To remain as unfinished bastions of hope
Stuck infinitely as amber to be marvelled
Twinkling stars in a vast abyss
Orbiting a much larger force
As a spiral galaxy in all of its beauty
Is consumed by the black hole uniting it
To break free and wander away
Leaving gaps in the night sky
With only a healing sunburn to remind us
That they were there to begin with
Thus those great monoliths remain unfinished
Standing strong so long as their base does
A joy to marvel, to attempt to imagine
How beautiful they would have looked
Memories of darker days remain
With orators bringing tales to make them bright
Sounds of construction and joy
Rang true and strong
So here we stand upon a deadened field
Torn towers pointing like fingers
Accusing the sky of misdoings never committed
And darkening the land once more
So I'll trap these sins in amber
And carry them with me for as long as I can
As a small reminder to me alone
That those days were not wasted.

I have a dream,
A dream that the world will wake,
From the deep slumber of misdoings.
I have a dream,
For this world will see the light,
Light to overcome darkness,
Darkness of misplaced mindsets.
This world will make a step,
A step to life,
But this will happen,
Only if,
You and I worked to transform it.
For this world is nothing,
Without you and I,
I have a dream.

It was only one day, one day thought to change...
everything...
but it turned into an earthquake
Why was it me so determined to be the fool
all in hopes to be simply cool
How am I meant to be, who was I meant to be
if I can't be the person I used to be
Countless times, endless trials proved futile
as I try to correct my misdoings
but half of them blew up in my face
a time-bomb I never saw coming
and to this day, I still worry
about what I don't need to
My mind's going a 100 in a 55
while rock n roll is doing it's best to keep me whole
other than the chance of chasing this dream
and a dark-haired sorceress I met long ago
nearly three years
I've been here too long, spent too much time
I'm ready to leave, ready to go home
back to all I left behind
so something can boost my happiness
suppressed under my last serenade

Soft Pink Erasers
A person breathes into the world undressed pink
The lovely pink joy drinks from a nipple that’s pink
An alluring pleasing color that makes one wink
Pink is the color of the tears running on cheeks.
Pink is the color of girl who wins the heart of a man
And the pink is the color of the heart that is won
It is also the color of the newly sprung rose in June
Pink is the smell of the rose after the morning rain.
It is the color of cheeks of my daughter, wife and mom
It is also the color of the sunset of my old age balm.
I wish the life has its own soft pink erasers in my home
To remove all the mistakes and imperfections’ outcome.
Leaving no trace of the misdoings except pink remnants
Of tears on the cheeks to wipe out all the imprints.

“Thanksgiving”
Today I give thanks for a wonderful abundant life
For all my friends and family and a beautiful loving wife
God knows our very needs before they come to mind
All He wants is us to be grateful, compassionate, loving and kind
For the world is full of anger, jealousy and hate
Rise above these misdoings and make gratitude your fate
For when I rest my head and take the last breaths of my life
To know I left a drop of peace in spite of all the strife
God drifts the clouds across the sky and tells me it’s alright
So let’s give thanks on this special day and enjoy His loving light
