Mirroring Poems | Examples

magenta blaze : specular

eyes dazed by magenta blaze

            skin torn by piercing thorn

blood drop tickles zinc hole in morn

she knows her season is done

a petaling head will droop under afternoon’s Sun

abundance is a prime piano note

                              •¥¥•

frugal the piano notes sound

                 her head erect at midday

her season embraces her

with blood bleeding through as blush

her skin translucent calls

                       magenta gaze closes lids

Mirroring

The human race, the most successful dynasty on earth.
Five-foot titans, jaws gaping,
eyes too wide to see their own reflections. Apex predators.

The first to fall were the animals
shadows with breath, their bones paved into myths.
Then the land,
bled dry to raise glass towers,
trees fell disgusted by the massacre.
The human race, the most successful.

The sea followed,
its salt now bitter with betrayal,
Its creatures now plastic swimers pray to sunken gods for mercy.
And the air
 oh, the air.
Pierced by metal wings, black poison clouds stitched into the sky like mourning veils.
The human race.

What else was left? They looked at themselves.
A race cracked with greed.
A gaze hollow with hunger.
A smile sharp with the memory of conquest.
The human race, the most deprived.
They had meet their final conquest. Without care,
The human race.
The only predator that eats its own reflection..

some days,
i wish i liked my reflection.
i wish that i didn't hesitate when saying my name,
afraid of that a look will make me take it back.
i wish i my name didn't feel like an alias,
that i didn't feel like a alien.

i wish i didn't choose their convenience
over my identity,
my truth,
me.
because now,
i look in the mirror and see
a stranger,
a mutation of mistakes.

in my mind
i am him,
but my eyes see a girl,
i see a woman lost
in too many addictions,
doomed to perish
in her own actions,
because she could never see
who she could be,
them,
him,
her.
she didn't have to be her.

she could change,
but life could only offer
a cage around her heart,
and tape around her chest.

her.
I don't want
to
be
her
anymore.
i want more than this.

it's hard to know
that who you are is of
no importance,
not even to those you love.

some days,
i wish i liked my reflection,
but i fear i would rather die
than love myself.

They mirror the madness in me.
I mirror just what they want to see.

Mirroring

Choose any mirror and look,
keep looking, it is dangerous,
but so is not looking.

Can you bear to peer?
What you perceive is the only the past.

Look with a new mind,
that unmasking
will lead you to your Original face.

Mirroring Puzzle

We only have
 the real meaning of things,
when we absorb
 the knowledge of mirroring...
From the sky and the sea,
of the wind and the air...
And we only live intensely
when we reveal the mysteries
of life and the secrets of dreams... !

Mirroring

I have a mirror
                      that is taught
                      only shows what
                      I suppose I am ...
                     It's a mirror
                      hypnotized...
                     Mirror of mine ...
                     This mirror lives for me
and for me ... he is supportive.
                     Further than an obedient dog,
further than my own shadow ...
                     But I am certainly sure
that my real time is counted...
                     my mirror, this one
                     is already aging ...!

Mirroring

Interacting with one's own reflection,
just a glance gives no satisfaction
morphed when forms shadow in light,
don't show itself at night.

Either inferior or superior
a complex to make one perplex,
for better of some
and a disaster for others.

In style tagged along with a smile
too real to be fragile,
what you see,is what it shows
it's just what you have to trust.

For precision loosen up inner inhibition
only you have the right to make decision.
