Mundane matters motley
Muddy minds mostly
Melding, moulding, miring
Mindlessly meandering
Meek moribund musing
Mindfulness missing
Mystics mentalism mimic
Marring meditation’s magic

Let
us try
to be still
without trying,
for if we do strive,
then how may we be still?
We speak, of course of our mind,
spawning thoughts without any rest,
even during sleep, dream forms pursue,
miring consciousness, in hypnotic trance.
A rotating wheel takes time to slow down.
The same then applies to fickle thought.
Feeding not our fears and desires,
we are released from bondage.
No longer thus pampered,
ego borne thoughts fade.
One with silence,
awareness
brightly
glows.

Feeling within consciousness contraction
We recognise its origin as fear
Arising from desire borne stagnation
Fearful to lose illusions we hold dear
Ghosts of our mind grips us thus in terror
Avalanche of arrows feeble form spears
Fear type any, it grows like a creeper
If unchecked, envelopes us in darkness
Permeating our form like a cancer
How may we then, liberate consciousness?
What may we do, to rekindle our joy?
Beseeches thus hermit in earnestness
Attachment to objects, an ego ploy
Miring our attention in swamplands deep
Hypnotic stupor has us therein buoyed
To transcend our fear, the climb is not steep
We just let go of fleeting illusion
Plunging into the void, in one swift leap!
We are free, upon vaporisation
In but not of this world of forms fleeting
Flowing nonchalantly in elation
We disappear, there is no more fearing
What is, is a bliss mist, celebrating!

Exposure unceasing
To external manifestation
Has ego anticipating
Miring us in stagnation
Dependent upon senses
We are never free
So we take our chances
In a meditational spree
Stillness & silence
Though not quite absolute
Reclaims our innocence
If we be prayerfully resolute
Each pulse has a plateau
Wherein we should be watchful
In surrendered stillness slow
Our very orientation meditational

Death a frontier
An imagined barrier
In reality nonexistent
Save to shallow ego sentiment
Subtle domain veiled by a sieve
Our mist essence does not deceive
By simple recognition
Cessation of mind body association
Meaning no fear of death
Be it sudden or approaching in stealth
Divine Love the fulcrum
Of our awareness in the continuum
Seamless & resistanceless
One with the That Oneness
Our the thus ever present orientation
Paves way for hidden doors to open
Twice born
We yet live on
Association begetting delusion
Miring us in swamps of stagnation
Which is in truth living death
Captive by choice in the maya net
At any instant no sooner we undo
Shedding conditioning we renew
Our core
Blessings of bliss our being does empower
Beginningless endless our vaporised self is home
Fearless and in resonance with the life pulse of Ohm

I wander but some say I roam
Travelling myriad mazes
For home.
When pillared pathways
Lead to love cold
I ascend the stairway stars
That unfold
From my miring mind
Momentarily
Dwelling where clouds hold my slumber
And skies hold my dreams.

Singing solo in a silo
The gecko heard his echo
It IS Illegal, cried jealous sea gull
Regal, Bald Eagle : with a beagle??
A small smew smelt smog
Frantic flying from fluorescent fog
The sound of a quacking, cluck
Reverberates from a Mallard duck
Wings embedded in miring muck
Instinctively knew that he was stuck
Knowing no one gave a flying ****
