I know that you are hurt
Please make your voice heard
Get-up, remove the dirt
On your hips. Stand up like a bird
Who is not afraid to fly, to jump
Stand up straight to stump
On the evil ants. Don't be afraid
Be strong, and don't be sad
It is what it is, be resigned
To vote, fight, and be aligned
With the candidate who shows
Respect for women, poor men
Minorities and people with short nose
Be fair and righteous like a blessed omen.
Make noise, make yourself heard
Loud and clear. Stand up like Big Bird
To say it like it is
Relax, be at ease
Silence can kill
Tolerance can steal
And destroy the bias of the matter
Be stronger, brighter, and smarter.

Nationalities come
Nationalities grow
Where coffee's come
More nation's grow
To see them now
we feel they've left
What home for them
was far and blessed
So how can they
be coffee friend
To all our country's
hate at them
For leaving home
when we want too
For home a love
We stare at you
And some still know
that home is there
You can say they come
and fare
Though death for one
has you to aim
Your hate; your friend
you feel the same
When all who say
you're not alone
Know home for call
is there and own
What you will have
as loving ground
Of friend close by
and top of sound
To hear the heart
of he who says
I love you for
the ones I'm pressed
To be as home
where chairs will sit
On solid ground
with closeness pritt

Standing up for Minorities
A minority is black, not white.
A minority is she, not he.
A minority is alternative, not straight.
A minority is poor, not rich.
A minority is powerless, not powerful.
A minority is homeless, not housed.
A minority is addicted, not clean.
A minority is immigrant, not resident.
A minority is mother, not father.
A minority is sister, not brother.
A minority is unwanted pregnancy, not birth.
A minority is clean air, not pollution.
A minority is rising tides, not still waters.
A minority is extinction, not existence.
A minority is over-population, not subsistence.
These causes make no sense.
They have neither rhyme nor reason.
Expect not God's defense,
if you blast out curses and commit holy treason.
The unrighteous knew not God,
so they made laws for themselves.
They campaigned for justice,
and unwittingly chose hell.
"Get right with God," is topic "minority."
change your focus inward
and the topic of worlds will be dispelled.
