Make Your Voice Heard

I know that you are hurt Please make your voice heard Get-up, remove the dirt On your hips. Stand up like a bird Who is not afraid to fly, to jump Stand up straight to stump On the evil ants. Don't be afraid Be strong, and don't be sad It is what it is, be resigned To vote, fight, and be aligned With the candidate who shows Respect for women, poor men Minorities and people with short nose Be fair and righteous like a blessed omen. Make noise, make yourself heard Loud and clear. Stand up like Big Bird To say it like it is Relax, be at ease Silence can kill Tolerance can steal And destroy the bias of the matter Be stronger, brighter, and smarter.
