The other loves of my life.
Millie the monkey wench.
Sam the monkey man.
Murphy the Minch.
Guess what species if you can!
Characters one and all.
A moody little madam who struts discord and her vexation for all.
A gentle caring lump who’ll head but you just for a bump.
A gorgeous impressive fella with eyes that could search your soul forever.
They all have their little ways.
They all have their little cares.
The other loves of my life.
They live with us day after day, night after night.
They tell us when we’re in the wrong.
They tell us when feeding time is on.
They love us unconditionally.
They trust us more than we trust we.
The other loves of my life.

Beneath thunderous waves near craggy shores
Exist in frigid seas the ancient men of cold blue
Fallen angels who now cast to earth are kind no more
Courageous seaman’s souls they look to accrue.
Imprudent men have eternally suffered
Callously the blue men of Minch, have crested the waves
Pursuing those without wit, for the challenge that’s offered
Condemning fools forever to the brinies depths and it’s caves.
Beware of the blue men and their command of the seas.
Fierce waves will extend from a flick of their tails,
Exhaling breathe launches a furious breeze
Masts shall be shattered; and shredded are sails.
Consider angels as fair, but fear the blue men of the Minch
Salvation will always encroach with a twist
Quick be the poets, whose conviction won’t flinch
Sheltered passage from verse, is the pardon, that blue men insist.
Trading verse with the devil, would be sounder for souls
Blue men of Minch have true depth to both rhyme and their prose
Brandish poems from heart and the head instead of old scrolls
Caution for that cold clench of the sea, is the poet that froze.

Images now received by satellite
Show spaceships similar to here
In Tunguska, deepest Russia
The largest seems to appear
Near the Kingdom of Scourie, Scotland
From the Minch it slowly arose
The third of them showed so silently
Highlanders agape, froze
Governments now in communication
Media frenzies gather flow
It takes something out of the ordinary
For dialogue to openly show
A hush captures our attention
Channel 5, Australia News
Ayers Rock sees the fourth of these crafts
Indigenous carvings on the screens we now view
More reports are gathering strength
In Guatemala, near Piedras Negras
"Black stones" I believe in Spanish
Is it coincidence that this is the last
The night to the dawn takes ages to pass
Every hour we look to our skies
Have we awoken what we have always dreamt of
Below us, our eyes could never espy
Not from the depths of outer space
But from the deep from the planet we live
Lying dormant, awoken by archaeologists
We await as many nations, misgive

When i close my eyes
To follow Scotland's coast
I am so undecided
To which part i love the most
From the Shetland Isles
To the Borders so green
These vistas of miles
Really have to be seen
The Isle of Arran
And the Island of Mull
To the Minch of Lewis
I fly with the seagulls
When you go inland
Crystal waters run through the glens
Have seen the rise and fall
Of many, many men
As you walk round our cities
In history so steep
The tales of the past
Would make a grown man weep
Every so often
As i close my eyes
I soar with the eagle
Through our Scottish skies
