When I Close My Eyes

When i close my eyes To follow Scotland's coast I am so undecided To which part i love the most From the Shetland Isles To the Borders so green These vistas of miles Really have to be seen The Isle of Arran And the Island of Mull To the Minch of Lewis I fly with the seagulls When you go inland Crystal waters run through the glens Have seen the rise and fall Of many, many men As you walk round our cities In history so steep The tales of the past Would make a grown man weep Every so often As i close my eyes I soar with the eagle Through our Scottish skies http://www.thehighlanderspoems.com/scotland-2.php

Scotland will embrace you as I will with open arms Olive. It's a wonderful place to stay, and it's a small country with vast open spaces, clean air, terrific social infrastructure, schooling, hospitals, higher education, doctors, prescriptions, all free. You'll be here little one, for quite a number of years, married with children, hugs Oliz xxxx

I can feel the power of the wings as they gain height over the rocky mountains and beautiful meadows. A pulchritudinous place that you have described. Keep the creative and magical pen flowing. Thanks for the comments on my work and about the placement in the contest. I wrote that from pictures that I saw about a pigeon that had an injured leg that had to be amputated and how she had adopted three orphaned bunnies. Sara
