Mightful Poems

Daddy's Name

Even at this advanced, unsettled age
daddy's name still evokes horrible pain,
he wasn't faithful to mom and her rage
never exploded to make us break down:
such an incredible courage was a saint's devoted creed,
she stood very strong protecting us with an iron shield!

My sisters weren't as aware as I was,
they went to school and played games,
I struggled a lot and thrived to prove myself:
I acted differently, never being broken in half!

A dad's duty is to guide his adored kids,
until they have developed a full brain;
to leave them stranded without a specific direction:
is a horrible deed that eventually leaves many scars!

Dad never hugged us, never listened closely but vaguely,
all he wanted was rigid discipline without any disagreement;
if we disobeyed, he would slap us hard without explaining why:
we were sheep under his rule, he used the rod on the innocent!

Times spent with mum were inspiring and insightful,
she taught me the Bible, dad didn't teach me anything;
my strength comes from mother and I revere this feeling:
no greater love has left a mark so mightful and spiritual!

The Darkness

The darkness cries in terror
Where his life he has to end
Upon the mightful summond of dawn.

The joys he enjoyed at night
To him seems like a nightmare,
For it lived not so long, not more than a dream he was having.

The tears in his eye sings no song of compassion into the heart of the sun,
Where in the world around him
Looks cheerful with the dancing dawn.

His heart longs no farewell,
To the world he dwelled the most.
He drew an indelible promise
Where in the end of lights reign shalt he arise again.

Of Everyone's Destination - Grave

that their usual neglection towards me
appeared today,

with their corpses,
they came here

my sympathy was always with them
as I kept reminding them of my countenance through ‘The Book’

I couldn’t talk to them ever,
but my inner angels will now converse with them,

so proud they were
before coming here

so loud they were
in glorifying the world

mightful and frail
are all inside me,

their minds had different notions about my hospitality
but with equivalence, I treat everyone

their digression from that world
was irrevocable on one day,

but their ignorance overpowered on it

their destination was already written by Almighty
prior to their appearance in womb

all the desires get choked & vanish
after coming here

kiths & kins won’t be helpful
mere strangers remain their identity

mastery won’t work here at all
intentions are the parameters of verdict

altruists are revered here,
whereas disparagement lies with egoists

here, tongue gets defunct
whereas other parts start talking

and this is the final destination
called Grave

By Steel Adorned

A golden thun'dring tore the winds,
Their swirling portals rent-
As from on far sky-pounding steeds-
Forth from Vahalla sent!

And valor sang majestic hymns
In tribute to Thor's throne,
While galloping, stern, crescendoed now
For lo! Bursts Odin's own!

By steel adorned, those snorting mounts
With frenzied, winged fury
Did shudder Earth in frantic storm
In assemblage dreamt by Glory...

Then Dragon Prowls relinquished
Their hold of the mightful slain,
To Heav'ns fiery charge of stallions,
To ever rage, and reign...

Danny's Song Upon the Death of His Grandfather

When crashed to earth that mightful Oak
O'er that long. a'frighted night,
His tears did so high homage speak
As to slumber passed his Light...

Shoulders small, no more host to hands
Whose tender firmness helmed
Their little lad, and life, and joy
In eternal love enrealmed.

Trudged he stoic, that deserts waste
With heart beset and stormed,
His soul a stone-turned edifice
Then from parched dreams was formed

A kind but spectral silohette
Up from the nighted sands,
As boyish eyes enlivened gazed
Once more upon old hands...

They held a heart which yet did beat,
"For you, my bonnie Dan!
I'll love you from Forever, boy,
And in Love, live as a man..."

Ah, but dream, for now he wakes-
But so curious a thing!
For in his grasp there rests some sand
Which waking did not bring!

Premium MemberWhat I See

Delightful, spriteful
Whimsical, mightful
Mansical musical flash

Sharing caring
Ever bewaring
Soulful and careful and rash

Bewildered when innocence clashes with power
Unsure the brilliance that sparks what you are
So much to give for so much to desire
Hurricanes threaten to put out the fire

Moving, grooving
Ever behooving
Angry, heroic and bright

Joyful toyful
My what a boyful!
Defiantly cheering the night.
