The woman was angry and called me dumb.
Because I had nicknamed her mettlesome.
Mixing up this word
With another- so absurd.
The mean adjective that is meddlesome.
I quickly showed her this tiny mistake.
Stubborn her head was as hard as a rake.
She kept a grudge.
Thus I called her “pudge”
So I guess best friends we will never make.

Sun scatters splendid splendors in utter silence
Flowers shed their pure fragrance without any aim
Never once they never trumpet their excellence
Real wisdom, real merits acquires great fame.
The moon maps her magic hue in silent midnight
Wind swept in melodious tone scenting surprise
Ever did they ever boost their mettlesome might?
Never fool can ever shine bruiting his own praise.

They held hands for the first time.
She , still a virgin.
Him , still a virgin.
A beautiful night of companionship,
That lasted a life time,
On that night of innocence,
As the bonding was formed.
A boy tiny in form was made.
Though tiny but a handsome miniature
Very mettlesome a kick to the womb,
Music to the ears of his folks.
This was no flaccid baby,
But a Conqueror in the making.
Showered by love moulded by sacrifice

Born as a liberal Jew in Germany, An young Diarist famed posthumously.
She is none other than Anne Frank,
Whose mettlesome life prematurely sank.
With Hitler and Nazis came to power,
Persecuting Jewish people out of rancour.
Anne's family moved from Germany to Netherland,
But unfortunately became the subject of persecution.
Soon they moved to a secret hideout,
Finding no other alternative wayout.
However one day came the bolt from the blue,
Her family became the captive of World War ll.
The Germans took them to the concentration camps,
Father got separated, mother died of starvation.
Emaciated, shivering body and infected with scabies,
Anne's ebullient life began to cease.
Head shaved, strip naked and hard to recognize,
Anne ultimately embraced death with dreamy eyes.
