Nature

Every blessed dawn sprout a new thought,
Enclosure in fate and earth's brochure,
Coupled with unfriendly events with zipped lips,
Ushering humans into rhetoric dawn.
The culprit wandered lonely like an hungry lion,
He explored the soil with his nose,
Like a bewilder bull that lost its horn,
Just to make life out of the stubborn ground.
He run behind and beyond to observe the nature's food,
He emptied the content of the pen and the sword,
But it seemed all were making lesser sense.
He dived deep into earth's etymology.
Yet,it shrinked duller like a tube,
And gave no impression of friendly fun.
Then he tried the path of religious fact,
He sung and prayed in bright and eventide,
Fasted squarely to create a spiritual link,
To browse the heaven's prosperity without a megabyte.
Now,life seems to smile back at me.
Though,he frown and groan but all seems bright.
The once stubborn ground pour out fortune in its strengths,
The blue sky sings love and lights hope.
He got no more worries because he's got a great company.
On his soft antelope he let open the door of his mouth.
'THE FORTUNE IN NATURE......IS EMBEDED IN THE SUPREME BEING'

Pixel Wars

Tingling toes
of the megabyte cavalry
callouses scraping
along private roads
Cascading matrices
on the plasma periphery
peasantry bleating
on official commands
Stewing a cauldron
a festering foment
watering nations
from acid-soaked cans
BE SAFE!
say the oracles
so buying a check
but electing the cavalry
leaves the infantry wet

I sit here one click
yes one click away from you
yet I so afraid
to press that little old mouse.
Just one megabyte to love.

Computer Symphony

“I don’t want a computer!” (I vehemently said)
“I’d rather you bought me a TV instead
I’m too old a dog to be learning new tricks
Music and Poetry’s where I get my kicks”
“Megabyte-Schmegabyte, it’s all greek to me
It would bore me to death, now just let me be!”
To make a long story short, I caved in at last
Now to tell you the truth, I’m having a blast!

The first week, I cried and ranted and raved
When I lost all the poems I thought I had saved
“That’s it” I cried and ran out of the house
Vowing never again to pick up the mouse
But the lure of the Web was too much for me
There were so many places for me to see
Game sites, health sites, chat sites galore
But that’s not for me, because I want more!

I look for good books, great music and such
Researching the Classics I love so much
And of course, being a poetry buff
I sit there for hours, typing my stuff
Who said an old dog can’t learn new tricks
I’m in another world with a few quick clicks!
So don’t bother to ring me, or come to call
I’m on the computer just having a ball!

Sycophancy

Sycophancy they celebrate
Insolvency they worship
Profligacy they cherish
Grandiosity they love.

Impudence remains a force
To reckon with
Indolence rewarded
Amidst pomp and pageantry
Intolerance to dissent
Views became the hallmark

Thesis plagiarizing became licit
Academic placid legitimatised
Megabyte prowling encouraged
Supersonic pillaging sanctioned

Persecution became acceptable
Intimidation remains excusable
Exploitation officially allowable

All these only during the
Dark days of an “Ifa priest”
With the so called magic wand
In the garden of life
Christen U and I.

My Computer Luv

Her hardware, silk, drops to the floor
Her software, warm, soft with curves.
CD rom all over her until she boots up.
I megabyte her neck slowly.
She goes into hard drive, i into RAM
as we both work like a keyboard.
Her eyes like chips, start to monitor me.
And the printer in my heart copies over
and over again.
