Mind Your Own Business

"Mind your own business,' is good advice.
and besides, meddling is just not nice.
The flaws in others that you bemoan,
are reflections of some of your own.

Removing the beams in your own eye
will keep you busy until you die. 
As you strive to overcome your flaws
You will find it to be a great cause.

During childhood, you experienced pain,
which is buried deep within your brain.
Unhealed pain shapes the way you behave,
resulting in habits that enslave.

As you age, childhood pain takes a toll.
Like a grey ghost, it torments your soul.
Self-medicating does not heal pain,
drugs and denial will dull your brain.

Mind your own business, confront your pain.
Face your hidden fears, start breaking chains.
Free yourself from the strain and the strife,
and gain from your pain a brand-new life.

Arthritis

After years of struggling with my knee
Years of being stuck to a needle
When I was sure I couldn't take another blow
Doctors came and told me my other knee was shot 

It had been struck with osteoarthritis 
And there was need to use two crutches
Cause if I didn't I'd make it worse
And I was too afraid to be stuck on a wheelchair 

I knew I needed something to give 
Give way so that I could see the light 
A light at the end of the tunnel
For I was going through a dark phase 

The pain was loud my ears couldn't bare
And my teeth would gnaw as I tried to set the foot down
Each time I'd limp back to my seat 
And watch on at just how arthritis had taken a toll 

At the eleventh hour, when the time was neigh
The meds kicked in and slowly I was back to my feet
After two weeks of medicating, I'd chosen this bitter pill
Over the other pill, for I still had to fight for I had a lot to look forward to

Don'T Give Up

Don't give up
on precise strategic resilience
and passionate communitarians
winning here and winning now,
now already won here
with and for those with 20/20 sight
hearing
thought with feeling,

Do give up blaming
only your own internal addicted climate
without also shaming your medicine-pushing society
of left-hemisphere verbal violent domination.

Do give up blaming just your ego
for self-medicating.
Medications, intended for ego- and eco-healing,
can become addictions,
sources of longer-term ego v eco-pathology.

Do give up substances
originally nurturing medication
and now become toxic starving addiction.

Do take up
addiction to water
and organic tea
sipped from ceramic mugs
and cups
and delicate shells
of creatures addicted to saltwater.

Do become addicted
to vigorously cleaning up
shaking out
cleverly planting resonance
carefully harvesting resilience
nurturing
giving and receiving health care
for and from
your eco-politically connected environment
habitat
Earth.

Don't give up
worshiping Earth.
I've never heard of pathological side-effects.

R I P Addictions

Ignorance destruction can't beat them don't join'em. Death B-4 dishonor be the strong. Humanity is a reflection of our works. Can't depart from the characteristics of our works affect & effects negative or positive. Till we do better when we know better. Knowledge of self is in the origin of creation plan. A test of conduct & deeds creation holds for the created. That which pressure is upon most the greater it can stand. By way of perseverance and endurance. The benefit; the more productive to the overall purpose humanity shall become after proven & tested. Which is not seen clearly for some while still weathering evil storms. To all self medicating by the most affordable most natural pain killers. Narcotics may numb the pains of society burdens. But truth only love can stop the pains & psychological stresses associated with living a life of payment. Tit for tat; not who u know it's who u blow all of that. Love our self, love our health, most of all have love for all else. Evil & sin goal is to kill love for all who not lustful of it's fruits....

Magnificent marauders masquerading magically might mean 
Messy mollusks masticate marbled marigolds momentarily. 
Maybe. 
Moreover, momentous mosquitoes might make marvelous mini-muffins mixing marmalade momentarily.

Minnie made monthly memories merely medicating masses 
Mediocre men mysteriously manufactured man-made missals 
Might mean 
Millionaires mystify magical muggles’ meager melodies making 
Magnifying, mollifying mortifying mind-blowing majestic missives.

Mummies, mammograms, mushrooms, minks, musicians, 
Models, maestros, minions, muskrats, merry men 
May 
Momentarily medicate marvelously magnificent marauders. 
Meanwhile 
Mary May memorize multiplication minimizing 
Mark’s Mother’s marmalade mini-muffin memory. 
M might make momentous mountain-mincing molehill.

Artistic 
Simplistic 
Ruby grapefruit lipstick 
Glossy shimmer 
To quell the chap winter crack's 
The toll takes on immune down body system's 
That survived the Vitamin Blitz
And if we can make up in any way
Camouflage that hideous interior 
To make small gains to feel Superior 
Then what is the harm
For if it was not for the sweaty palm
And the heat resonating via the cold remedies 
Because Doctor's would not prescribe antibiotics 
You have become comfortably numb
An aqua lung siphoning despairing air
Home care bed ridden self medicating 
An artist simplistic unrealistic 
Carcass 
Of a failing vessel 
The mind could have outlived 
But sadly the body power's the Clock
Not the Head or Brain

They said you was sneaky

The Three R's

The three R’s of education begin
with reading ‘riting and Ritalin.
Children are labeled mentally ill 
because they fidget and won’t sit still.

Normal actions diagnosed to be
the symptoms of ADHD,
so psycho pharmacy can push a pill
to cure psychiatry’s invented ill.

You’re targeted from your infancy
to develop drug dependencies. 
And spend your life consuming pills
medicating invented ills.

Drugs are poisons with side effects 
that alter mechanisms of intellect
with substances that are known to be 
toxic to your brain chemistry.         

Minds cannot withstand the strain
of mans assault upon the brain,
and those minds can explode
into psychotic episodes.

You may find yourself in killer mode
from a demon circuit overload,
in a classroom full of dead
and a gun held up to your head.
 
The machineries of a nation run
on the intellect of its population.
Drug a populations intellect
and it will become derelict.

A population of addicts
living day to day, fix to fix,
dwindling down pill by pill
until that nation’s pulse is still.

The day u died I died too
NOW self medicating gets me through
Numb the pain is what I pursue

Need to forget the pain of losing you

your words like cyanide poisons my soul 
feels like my ears buried down your throat
and still my needle goes round and round

like a preacher on meth

Winter Wonder Cure

Winter comes
in its birthday suit
with invites
suggesting layers

In New York
snow was on the ground
next day, warmth
I went out sans cloak

In Jersey
warmth was inviting
by nightfall
my throat was hurting

Remedies
of raw garlic, teas
with cayenne
and honey held me

Fatigue came
slowing vibrant me
more meds came
with soups and hot teas

In N.C.
cozier space waits
with honey
I wanted out fast

Missions done
I boarded Greyhound
warm, too warm
I can't breathe in heat

Flu was on
soups were remedy
with honey
medicating me

Cold turned cough
aches would surely pass
I was up
best remedy was honey.

like wisps of smoke whispering, flickers hope whistling, to misty hopeless whimpering
physically choked sickened, with too much oh no, sunny gone, downhill, wrong side like mono, life can be so cold, I heard the oboe solo, in the motherland flute plays you, ways of making waves and rays when oceans arent blue, monochrome foam the root here not beer shaking up a flurry of sparkles, tears in snow globes, three cheers I don't know, cause bliss can be addicting fixed on asphyxiating whilst in a mix of medicating, anything to ease what my pain is instigating, kill the messenger cause telephones are useless as they are insinuating

a much better way to deal with it all,

in
your own behavior when they smirk

condescension
