on a skeleton

The Scenic Route

February marks the date but we don't celebrate.
Relationship is real-
Daily struggle, money temptations, and
suicidal moments…
We took the scenic route but have only seen one mountain.

Relationship

I suppose that I'm a puzzle
that only you solve my love!
A labyrinth that only you
walk the paths...
a mystery that you undo
frequently...
I only have one certainty:
You are mine and I am yours...!

Symbols

Call me a fool or
call me corny.
But i want a rare black rose
to symbolize our rare relationship.
I want a mood ring that's always blue
to show how much I love you.
So call me corny or call me a fool.

This Poem Is For Smart Assholes

that believe
that happiness can be found by telling lies
over
and over again
and that you can start a relationship by lying
over
and over
again
playing the smart asshole

over
and over again
on the brake of your lies

Love-Hate

you put your silks and satins
in me, a darkened abattoir
I see your pain, a summer crisis
staring sometimes for minutes
it's a love hate relationship
it's a love hate hall of mirrors
lost in dirty bone catacombs
I wait for your return

Me and You

you like me and i like you
but it can never be us two
because i got her and you got him
so this relationship will be a sin
but if i leave my girl and you leave your man
will me and you be a plan
maybe yes or maybe no
only god will ever know.

The Slap

There should be clearer signs,
as a relationship starts to break up
- the hiss of steam, a twist of smoke perhaps
or debris distributed across a hot,
cloudless, summer evening sky.
That way, the force of recognition
wouldn’t be so much of a slap.

The Penitent

Not so hard to repent
    Don't mind if I do
  for the fabric I've rent
    in my relationship with you

I'm so sorry, please forgive me
    I'll never hurt you again
How's that? ... Mere words, you say
Just so ~ A woman who understands men

Duck

he sits on the roof
of the building opposite
I sit on the sofa
glimpsed from the window;
him with his feathers
me with my skin;
themes tune
and blossom falls
from trees
like plates don't fall
out of the cupboard
and we could go on
like that for hours
such
was the relationship
we had

There's Something About You

There's something about you,
but I just don't know. Something
I know that no one else would or
could ever show. It's something
special don't get me wrong. You're
the reason why this relationship
is so strong. I know I love you.
And you love me to. But I'm
just not sure what I would do
without you.

What's Left

You left me breaking and bleeding,
The shards of my porcelain heart
Are nothing but shattered
Remains of what they used to Be.
Useless.
You left me to pick up
The left overs of
What we might have had
Or what I felt for you
But of course
It meant nothing.

Time Travelers

Time abides
              the exuberance of youth

Revels
         in hormonal histrionics

Settles
         into a relationship

Endures
         Love's fever and frost

Meanders
         through its moments

Embraces
           it's partners
                           in life's final dance

End of Time

I thought deeply about the past
And of the sort of memories that did not last
When they wanted a leg up to survive
And mate ship was still so alive

I wondered if it was just a way of using
And once starting it was abusing
The relationship that had developed
Then tossed away to the past enveloped.
