Hot winds blowing everywhere
Golden glistening dress all wear
Jade, peridot, emrald leaves in trees
Sway sanguinely in summer breeze
Stunning sunrise and sunset
Seductive colours of sun's pallette
Cloudless, clear, charming sky
Magnificent moon, mesmerises eye
Myriad melodic chirps reverberate
Flamboyant flowers for bees await
Morn, eve gratifying cool breeze strokes
Walking, chatting, playing, happy are folks
Enjoying juicy fruits like watermelon
And juices of citrus fruits like lemon
Hot april brings sundae and ice-cream
Relishing together, whole family gleams
With long days, april is indeed a vibrant season
For exhilaration, provides more than one reason

Oh, October I love thee
You bring much glee
Rains are gone
Sky is clear
Sunrise, sunset paints hued picture
A beauty to behold
Days are warm
Clothes dry faster
Evenings cool breeze caresses
Birds are out with melodic music
A pleasure to watch and hear
Trees are hued
Colours cloth the earth
All are exuberant
Time for long walks
Enjoying nature
Before cold winter arrives
Oh, October I love thee
Your arrival brings much glee

My poetry reveals a lot about me
I feel many know much about me
I am 50 + married housewife, female
(Many think I am a male)
Lost my mother when I was ten
My father when I was thirty-one
I have a 14-year-old school going son
I am sensitive to sufferings of others
I go out of the way to help others
About myself, I don't bother
I am a lover of nature
Watch with excitement all living creatures
Bhagvad Gita is my favourite scripture
It's thoughts have moulded my poetry and nature
I am scared of dark
Want to be physically up to the mark
I am introvert,
I lack self-worth
I have no worldly desires
I seek salvation, end of all desires
I stay in Thane, Maharashtra
I love my country - India

wondrous varied colours~
works of art painted in
water-based dazzling hues;
whether abstract, still life,
warli * and children's art
whirling, zigzag or straight-
warming art-loving hearts.

Some Clarification
In brief:
Difference between Mumbai and Bombay
• There is no difference between Mumbai and Bombay as these are names of the same city that is the capital of the state of Maharashtra
• Bombay is the name given to the city by British that is a corruption of the word Portuguese Bom Bahia, meaning Good Bay.
• Mumbai, the present name of the city is because of Mumba Devi, an ancient Kali Goddess who has a temple in her name in Bhileshwar in the city.

-------------------HI TECH FOOLS---------------
We are all High Tech Fools
Mother Earth’s Destruction Tools ………..[1]
We do chat on internets
& Forget talking with beloved parents ……………[2]
An invention a day keeps technocrats busy,
But an invention a day makes us too lazy………….[3]
With the aid of science, we are playing God,
In the end becoming only Tech Savvy fraud ……………..[4]
God-particle is invented inside the Atom,
Real god is ignored residing at our Heart’s bottom …….[5]
Our insensitivity is so much macabre,
We don’t know our very next neighbor ……………….[6]
We use devices which are ultra-modern,
Why do we wake up in the morning with so much burden……..[7]
We are sucking Mother Earth’s blood,
And thereby creating electronic flood ………………..[8]
Technology is neither God’s gift nor it is curse,
It is only bare fact engulfing our lives’ verse ……..[9]
Live simply, be Low Tech, life will be easy,
Simple, beautiful, sun lighted and nicely cozy …….[10]

Jaipur to Jamaica.
Jharkhand to jersey.
Himachal to Hamilton.
Lakshadweep to Lanka
Kerala to Cape town
Shimla to Sydney
Manipur to Malaysia.
Antartica to Karnataka
Andaman to aucland
Ameerpet to Antarctica
Pune to Portugal.
Sikkim to Singapore
Warangal to Washington
Andhra to Argentina
Telangana to Trafford.
Our bliss should be visible.
Our teasing should be audible.
Our way should be walk-able.
Our mistakes should be meltable.
Our sneer should be sensible.
Our intention should be amiable.
Our rhythm should be rock able.
Our fun should not be lock able.
Our harmony should be beautiful.
Hence our life should be delightful
and hope my poem will not be painful.
And it will be meaningful and this is dedicated to all my pals.

Place: Malvan beach, konkan, Maharashtra, India
By: Sashi Prabhu, Date: 3rd march 2012.
As I trudge along with fancy and conceit,
Tender soles and bare feet.
Sandy saunter through virgin sands,
Pathways lead up to blue waters of Malvan beach lands.
A groove of coconut palm stands swaying tall,
Shady steps embossed as pass on us all.
Yellow-Green thatched leaves shades, cool breeze swipes south west,
Ham mocked nets to cradle me lax if I rest.
Cool breeze blows now is saline but strong,
And the blue water melts to white foam.
Lone eagle soars blue virgin skies,
Many more from the brood join in and swirls as fishing boat gently pass by.
A murder of crows’ pelagic fish they feast as on wet sands they briskly hop,
Siberian crane, solitary sweep grabs sandy fish &thaws into the backdrop.
I trudge along with fancy and conceit,
Tender soles and bare feet.
In the heat, indiscreet……….
All clear ,no signs of jungles of concrete
