Premium MemberUnruly Thoughts at Play

I sing my thoughts a lullaby
And beg them to be still
Unruly children full of play
They go against my will

Another game of hide and seek
Each one appears by turn
Through hours of this endless night
Like candles, my thoughts burn

I sing my thoughts a lullaby
In hopes that they will sleep
Alas, when one is drifting off
The other makes a peep

I toss and turn the hours away
My thoughts all tumble too
I sing an endless lullaby
Each thought a dream of you

Now dawn has come and touched the sky
Pink hues replace the grey
My thoughts now sing a happy song
They know that they can stay

Each thought of you renewed in strength
Now dances through my day
At night another lullaby
While thoughts of you just play

Premium MemberSleep Baby, Sleep

Lay your weary head
Inside my warm embrace
I'll wrap my arms around you
Within them now encased

Comforted between them
Free from want or care
No chaos or mayhem
Let that go on elsewhere

Close your eyes, I've got you
Rest in knowing this
And should a little tear fall
I'll dry it with a kiss

I'll take all your troubles
And put them onto me
You just breathe in deeply
Much better now, you see?

You're tired, come, I'll hold you tight
I'll all your worries keep
And sing you gentle lullabies
Sleep now baby, sleep

Dream Realm

Love, do not waken yet
I’d like to see you dream
For the forever time:
Your troubled day is at an end,
Your frowns are gone and harmonies
Are heard in speech and word.

Love, do not waken yet.
I’d like to see you dream
Into a future filled with joy,
Where all is blessed friendship,
And tears are none and pity
Has no call upon your soul.

Love, do not waken yet.
And can there be such dreams?
They must have imminence, for all
Rest weary, searching for such sleep,
A realm of dreaming better things,
Waking from a world you may forget.

Rhythmic Waters

Constant flow
Somewhere from upstream
No loud gurgle
No wild lashing at the bank
The bank
Not wanting to,
But holding ground
Comfortable silence
All around
You sit ashore
Enjoying the harmony
Your silken calves
Lending a sparkle
To the rhythmic waters
You are lulled
Lulled into believing
“What bliss!
Heavenly bliss!”
Soaking the quiet ambience.
But is this your 'Desire'?
Is this what you want?
Didn’t you want
The torrent
To sweep you away
Away to……….
Another world,
Another land,
Another life……..
But the waters continue
Lapping against your ankles
The lullaby continues.

Summer Serenity

Empty alleys dotted with dry colours,
grasses slowly beginning to turn yellow.
Catching crickets at dusk, following the stream of the wind,
leads me to dreams of romance and love.

Wandering around the trees, waiting for the shine of fireflies,
I stop to listen to the river's calming lullaby.
Meeting the summer solitude, so enjoyable and melancholic,
I hope for drops of rain to awaken my heart and skin.

Premium MemberAnd So Comes This Love

I was counting days 'till he would be mine,
      I was ticking off nine.
One morning I felt not a thing,
so my husband gave the doctor a ring.
And so comes this love . . .
My baby had flown up above,
he had left in the night for the divine;
and in my heart he will ever twine,
to my sweet boy I just wanted to cling;
      and a lullaby sing.
And so comes this love . . .
Then, I had to let go of my dove-
Often, I walk among the yellow pine,
to where he rests in the sun . . . shine.

Eden Thoughts

Thinking
lovingly of you
in the cool of the day

Having Eden thoughts
butterfly float
in the soft twilight

My rainbow dreams
are awakening
in the glow of the starry night

I sing for thee
a sweet night lullaby
of my favorite daydream

Breathing
angelically next to you
in the warmth of the dawn

Having Eden thoughts
misty rise
in the morning light

My rainbow dreams
are going to sleep
in the glow of the flowering sun

I serenade
a sweet night melody
to my favorite daydream

I have such Eden thoughts
of my favorite daydream
Paradise found in you ...
my favorite daydream

Premium MemberWhispers In the Night

You and me and the man in the moon
standing all alone under a starry sky.
Midnight whispers a tempting lover’s tune
as the nightingale sings his lullaby.

Standing face to face I gaze into your eyes
as the full moon shines on the lake so bright.
Somewhere in the distance a lone wolf cries;
I whisper in your ear you look lovely tonight.

The scent of the pine trees lingers in the air
as I hold your body in a warm embrace;
I run my fingers through your silky hair;
the whispers of the breeze caress your face.

The night stands still as our hearts eclipse
while standing under the post oak bough.
I feel your body tremble as I kiss your lips;
I hear you softly whisper I need you now.

Premium MemberMoonbeam Flight

I think of you in sunset's splendor
As I watch the birds in flight
With thoughts of you so tender
 In the evening's fading light

And when the stars are shining bright
And Luna spills her golden glow
My heart will take a moonbeam flight
To find where your melody flows

When stars on high in distant gleam
    Twinkle in the night sky
 I'll listen for their lullaby
And find you in my dreams

Whispers of the Night

“Lying on ma bed frustrated in loneliness

Listening to the echoes of the sounds of love

As the night falls in sleep

The echoes come louder through the windows

Whispering in my ears thoughts of love

The echoes sing as though were lullaby

Tendering me to sleep

But the spirit, awake to the echoes of sounds of love

There came a ringing across the ocean

And I was awake to life again

Knowing who it was the call came from

It is of me the call came from . .

6 Days and 5 Nights

Memories were too clear in my mind
I remember how you stared stars when it was midnight
I love your bright smile when my world was too dark
That familiar voice was my sweet lullaby

You flashed your little brown eyes on me,
Till I felt foolishness in my mind
Wishing time won’t stop where there was us
Forever is something that should last

Though it’s now over cause’ were going home
I won’t forget how we spent five nights along.
Are there chances to rewind those moments?
Drive out of the city and relive best moments.

Twist your arms around me while one eye closed
A new romantic that I’m dreaming so long.
Is this a fun game in which I’ll fall again?
Now I’m spinning out of control.

Premium MemberWhen a Woman Is Just a Woman

When a woman is just a woman

She is heaven and earth when she is in love
She is the essence of her man’s world
It’s the spirit of fire in her eye
 Swing of her hips
 Joy when she walks
With romantic candlelight dinners
Music and soaking in bubbles

With passion
Her soft skin and the sweet taste of champagne
She’ll make love tenderly to last and last
Her sensual kisses and caresses
 Awakens captivating emotions
She'll give you everything she's got
 Just to make you smile

She’s the lullaby and a hero
Of her children’s hearts
 Skinned knees or
 Nights full of nightmares
A mother’s soft, soothing
Caress and kiss
Makes it fade away
She'll show she is not afraid
A survivor of her own kind

Premium MemberThe Mellow Light of the Moon

The charm of a soft summers night

Is only a dream right now

But soon the mellow light of the moon

Will softly cross my brow

I dream of romantic far away places

Beckoning me to come by

Places I've only read about in books

Accompanied by a lullaby

How can I possibly imagine the thrill

Seeing these historic places

Exotic peoples in exotic costumes

Other origins, other races

A broadening outlook on many lands

Where peace and love do reign

The different cultures and ways of life

Feelings of oneness is attained

Peoples of earth need take a deep breath

Give thanks for the air we breathe

For life and the wonderful world around us

The sun, the rivers, the trees

Premium MemberLove the Fairytale

The arrow
searches for lucky
if I wear the head tipped
On the end of cupid's arrow,
looking straight up into the sky

He releases me
Upon the air in flight
my heart wings fly with you
In a smiling sunshine bright

Beautiful summer breeze
Caresses the brow sweetly
falling from the sky
The impact
I am speechless

A warm tender heart
I reach out to you
floating to you in my mind
Warm everlasting feeling

Like a spider
I wrap you
gently in cotton
my food of taste
I crave you

As I will
Forever more
rocked deeply
This emotion
my fairytale lullaby
To adore
