Long lost love drowned in sorrows by friendships of tomorrow.
I have been engulfed with this for too long like my eardrums radiate with the lyrics of our favorite song.
Picture Perfect for 10 Years time, I still sit here and miss you and everything that was devine.
Good times and bad rhymes.
Repared fiction and some memories not mentioned.
I miss you like the sun is too bright and the stars dimly shine.
Forever my best friend from the soul, no longer lovers, yet still quite bold.
Maybe, I was starting to think that
I didn't miss you as much as I thought.
But then I saw your name.
It was just suddenly there.
And my breath caught,
Heart stopped,
Chest thumped,
Knees locked,
Eyes stung,
Mouth shut,
Head ached,
Tongue stuck,
Hand flinched,
Toes curled,
Skin froze,
Blood burned.
Who am I trying to kid?
I miss you more than ever.

a whole month will pass
before I see you again

time will just make me miss you more

Though you're so many miles away
So many feet apart,
So many inches to cross.
I can't say that I'll be joyous when you finally call
Or decide to pick up your phone.
Partially because all this time
I've been trying to reach you
But you just don't seem to have the time.
And I wish you could see how I am feeling right now,
See the look upon my pretty face,
See the cold icy tears that run down my chesnut cheeks
See the way my hands are shaking uncontrollably.
I miss you my distant lover,
Though you're so many miles away,
So many feet apart,
So many inches to cross,
And I hope you read this poem
And understand just how much I miss you still
Although you haven't picked up your phone
And decided maybe to call or text me back.
My friends tried to tell me not to fall in love with you
But I never believe them about things like that.
I always follow my heart
And you my dear was no exception,
Just wish you could see your own deception towards me
And I promise I'm finished,

Even though you have a tendency to sing out of tune...

My weekends use to revolve around them...
I'll miss our debates,
Most of all the futile ones...
I am going to miss you holding me close,
you whispering in my ear
I am going to miss listening to your heart beat while you’re asleep...
It is going to be tough,
But I'm letting go...
Letting go of something
that’s never meant to be...
Letting go of the constant reminder,
that you’re just on loan to me...
This time, it’s not out of jealousy
this time, it is going to be for me…
I will miss you tonight
I will miss your soothing voice
that sweetly caress my ears
your kind and loving words
that make me forget my fears
I will miss your kisses
Your soft and gentle touch
I will miss you tonight
