Lightening strikes illuminate black skies
Humans tremble with fear in blue eyes
Ares God of war has disturbed the night
Eros God of love is not inclined to fight
Animals find refuge wherever they can
In trees in seas an onyx ocean or land
Piercing sounds of lightning hitting man
He screams of agony as it exits his hand
Rain and hail violently hit the green ground
Not one creature doesn’t fear next sound
The spinning cyclone uprooting small town
The Gods are at war reasoning not found
The wind is like a knife cutting through stone
Will a sacrifice please the Gods saving home
If you are Kamadeva with silver wings,
I am struck by a love better than all flings.
Your arrow set my heart free of sufferings,
So now I shall return favour with offerings.
If you were Cupid Eros with silver arrows,
Would your spell be enough rid my sorrows?
Could you set me free from feeling harrows?
Am I meant to embrace light of tomorrows?
If you were Kamadeva with golden arrows,
Would your wish show me what hallows?
Could your Light lead me out of shadows?
Am I your deepest love coming to shallows?
If you were Cupid Eros with golden wings,
I'm sure you would hold our milestone rings,
As you tell me all about your secret desirings
For our minds, bodies' and souls' inspirings.
I once saw Cupid poop behind a tree in a field.
And, boy, was I surprised by the amount of his yield.
And when he was done,
I saw him strapped his quiver of arrows back on
and fly off to make another two one.
There are different kinds of love
Each with a special bond of love.
Philia is for friendship and a special trust
For secrets shared and secrets kept a must.
Eros is for passion, lust, and physical needs
Where sexual fantasies and desires are freed.
Storge is natural love of family, children, or kin
It is a lifetime of affection that seldom ends.
Agape is selfless love beyond daily concerns
For the strangers with nothing to return.
In what kind of love do you abound?
In what kind of love do wish for now?
Love,
The emotion
From eternity to eternity
Touches humans
Giving serenity,
The ones in love
Forever fortuitous
To be singing
Life's glorious song,
A dance of
Tango
Between two
Sublime souls
Lost in the throes
Of immortal love;
Those upon whom
Cupid
Is unkind
And failed to strike
With his magical
Arrow
Must remain
Sentenced
To a life of
Degenerate
Solitude,
A life of
Unfulfilled dreams,
And missed bliss;
Deep in the ocean
Of emotion,
Lies their sunken ship
Of love
Perched precariously
On a submerged
Precipice under
The weight of
Ill chosen priorities,
Broken, rusted,
Unknowingly,
Instinctively awaiting
Some arrowed,
Amorous diver
Or a miracle
From Eros
To rekindle
The fire
Of passion
Within.
A sacred secretion wells up in the deepest of depths.
Hearts melt at the mere pronunciation of the word love.
Circumscribing human strengths and weaknesses at all lengths
Love permeates the earth and the highest heavens above.
Sympathy, empathy, companionship, consummation
Eros, Philia, Storage, and Agape... all encompass
The core of love—that's the true universe of compassion
Within which the rhythms of the sun, moon, and stars come to pass
It's not my will, but the will of the other dominates.
In love, ego is erased, like a dewdrop by the sun.
The weakest of weakness, love within it accommodates
Neither one is great nor one is smaller than anyone.
Each little petal peeled from acts of love is marvellous.
Lawless can be love's laws, yet they are never barbarous.
I no longer have any need nor want, my love cannot be bought.
I found the mesmerizing god of love my soul had once long sought.
I find through telepathy he counters every bad thought.
Cupid must use
rounded
rubber-tipped
arrows
Let him order
some real
zingers
from Eros
Like a comet, your holy word, my Lord
Lit the obscure sky of human chaos
Bringing thus order out of anarchy
Enthroning in our hearts divine Eros!

I was condemned
from the first day I saw you.
Bewitched, enamored for ever
by your inexplicable beauty.
Little did I know
where you were to lead me.
I was a slave to Eros,
a fickle love
god aided by his snide piper Pan.
You brought me to your home,
a mansion built for love,
and closed the door on me.
Now I feel a prisoner
inside a gilded cage
besotted with love.
I have no strength to open the door
and fly to freedom.
I am rich.
I have no food.
I'm dead for life:
In the deepest part of my heavy heart
I know
I will find courage to open the cage
but only if I can find true love.
Let's relive that night of nebulas.
Toga night, fearless night!
With Aphrodite dancing clearly in
their sight.
Eros casts his sexual might,.
Let's dance in bewitching circles of Aegean mystery.
Only ....you and I in a kissable, erotic synergy.
Filled to the brim, our aquamarine crystal glasses.
San Francisco has memories and absolutely no passes.
They still celebrate love each night on their roof.
I hear the pawing of their Unicorn Minerva's hoof.
Two, that chose to love under the gods' directions.
From this earth, their love, a delicate confectionary,
eternal connection!

Loving and tender,
Tall and slender.
Sexy sweet,
The man he's neat.
Smooth as night,
Makes me feel alright.
My Eros
When we're so close.
He's my guy.
I tell you no lie.
Sensitive and moving,
When we're grooving.
Laughing; sure;
Raises my temperature.
So caressing
When we're pressing.
Kisses sweet
On Summer Street.
Always on my mind-
Kind.
Rippling waters moving
feeling hypnotically soothing
under our boat it rocks us
under its spell it locks us
misty fog slightly breezing
dampening the salty air we’re breathing
over our shoulders it shrouds us
silhouetting the masts around us
rippling waters moving
feeling hypnotically soothing
its rhythmic ride tells us
to give in and let it lull us
moody night skies
reveal nothing to our eyes
not the light of the moon or a star
but secrecy’s a seductress where we are
rippling waters moving
feeling hypnotically soothing
sultry sway hypnotizes us
as Eros glamorizes us

*In Greek mythology, Eros is the Greek god of love.*
Her angelic face,
Her tender voice,
Her sweet words,
Along with:
Her smiles,
Her caresses
And
Her kisses,
Masterfully,
Succeeded in weaving, the web of love
That
Entangled his, helpless, enchanted heart
Which
In a trance of bliss, unconditionally, surrendered
To Eros' demands!
