Premium Member A Creepy Feeling

Have you ever been hiking
Out in the woods
When this creepy feeling
Scares you real good?

Afraid to look round
Don't know what's behind
Oh don't be so silly!
Everything's fine!

The sound of a twig
Snapping in two
Your heart starts pounding
You shake in your shoes

A flicker of light
Through the towering pines
Saw something move
Was it just in my mind?

It happens again
So I whirl myself 'round
There right before me
My brother the clown

Laughing and chuckling
Under the pines
This badass prankster
Kid brother of mine

He teases me still
Bout the look on my face
After all these years
He still can't erase

One day my turn
For revenge will arrive
And brother oh brother
I hope he survives!

Tsustaroth

There was a time in yesteryear
When I had lived alone,
I had come across a certain fear
Of things that dwell below

My mind kept leaping back inside
The dark holes of the unknown
Till one night I felt cruel eyes
Burning into my own

I hadn’t welcomed it I swear!
—please do not get me wrong
I couldn’t remain, I wouldn’t dare
Stay there for too long

I fled towards my bathroom,
As if that would scare it away!
I’d lose it, I assumed
As long as I didn’t stay

For a full hour I sat there
On the toilet seat
Sitting in the darkness where
I stared at my cold feet

Finally, standing, I opened up the door
I heard the screech of the hinge,
That creak and nothing more…
But still, it made me cringe

Each night I felt the eyes upon me
Fixedly, more and more
But one dark, cold night I suddenly saw
A figure at my bedroom door

My eyes couldn’t leave the sight
Of the insidious, insisting guest
My heart thumped drastically in fright
As you probably would have guessed

It stood there upon the blemished floor
Watching me in my bed
Its body leaned against my door
Tilting and jerking its head

I screamed and clutched onto my covers
Stabbing to stay my heart
Trying to reach the telephone for others
But it was just too far!

I looked out of my window
Watching the rain patter against the sill
I was trying to distract my terrified woe
That haunted me against my will

I must have been losing my mind
But one night I felt braver and sane,
Trying to be courteous and kind,
Though scared I asked, “What is your name?”

The atmosphere grew darker within the room
I thought that I would die of fright
“My name is Tsustaroth,” it said
“And I am kissing you goodnight”

In horror I saw it moving towards me
My blankets flew away
Its fiendish look of reptile beast
Was zooming towards my face!

I moved to the corner of the room
And it turned its head towards me
I felt the burning of terror and doom
Revel inside of me

Then I saw it disappear
Into the dusty floors
But thrashing footsteps I could still hear
Closer and closer…thumping on the floorboards

As soon as it had left the scene
I felt the earth beneath my skin
I felt so alive, so eerily keen
I felt the darkness lurking within

“And every night, yes every while,
I’ll visit you at your door,”
As he spoke I felt myself hysterically smile!
“ And we won’t be lonely anymore…”

To Enter Heaven

Before thee gates of Heaven wide
where souls in silent grace abide...
Stand creatures sent from realms above
to weigh thee, heart with truth an love...

lion’s eyes, both fierce also wise...
pierce through each mask, each veiled guise...
does courage dwell within this soul?
Or fear that hides, beyond control?

gentle dove with wings outspread
seeks kindness in these words once said...
was mercy shown in darkest night,..
a beacon in thy fading light?

these wolves, with senses sharp so keen
sense loyalty, seen also unseen...
did faithfulness walk close behind
Or selfishness, that left love blind?

a deer steps lightly, soft an pure
Judging innocence that can endure...
was there a heart that held no spite
a soul that sought that good, thee right...

wise old owl, with watchful gaze,..
assesses wisdom through life’s maze
did lessons learned then truths embrace...
guide footsteps toward a sacred place?

each animal, by God’s command...
holds judgment not with harsh demand...
but with his grace that Heaven brings
to see beyond all worldly things...

well, if your soul is found sincere
with love an faith both shining clear...
heaven's gates swing wide, a welcome sound—
In Heaven’s light, your soul is found worthy to enter

Dedication To the P.D and Green Slam

Check the slam between P.D. and Green
Bunch of Girls trying to act all mean.
One question to Green your rap sounds like you wiped it on your sleeve
While smoking dope and combing out your $1.50 e bay weave.
“A wham, bam, thank you ma'am”
These raps are from a Buster Keaton silent move made into slam.

P.D., P.D. what’ that really stand for P. drip or puppy dog?
You yelp and call it a bark with your nose buried in S__T like a wart hog.
You both fart in a bottle and call it a storm
It just stink, its runny and luke warm

You thrive on other’s giving you the “Big up” and that’s all
Come to me and you’ll get the biggy small

I dedicate this slam to you from me
I am the main man, top dog, big cheese, king rhino, jungle VIP.

(Enjoyed both your Slams Big up)

Premium Member Would You Love Me If I Weren't a Poet? - Spelling Edit

I tried to read a favorite poem of mine for you.
Your eyes glazed over.
You could have been a lizard on a rock
sunning yourself, entirely unaware
that I felt as though I were there in front of you
reciting my words of such beauty
that an angel could have been
singing them while playing on a harp.
You may have even fallen quite to sleep.
Not once did you look up or glance at me.
You told me later, in fact, you had no use for poetry.

Another time I tried to read a poem to you.
It was a poem meticulously crafted just for you.
I could tell you liked it, for you were its centerpiece.
You pricked up your ears a little bit.
You thanked me, but no sweet words
of great appreciate did you return.
I am a stranger in your world of pure practicality.
Your love for me is steadfast and real; however,
asking if you’d love me if I were not a poet
is like asking a mother if she’d love her baby
if it were not merely there cooing in her lap.

Writing the Poem

Any time,I have time to drink the beer
When don't go anywhere
If I lives like an engineer, that is pleasant
But like a poet, hears back my heart beat
Present Art: " Swallow Myself"
Settle with women, just part of happiness
Always opened the windows,I'm to instead of
green and lush
"You will find although you can't find"
Accept and Satisfy may be different
Jump closed your eyes, jump opened your eyes
Someome for you,if that would be your hope,
it is not sure
When needed to separate myself from my dreams,
I will walk like the rat
And needed for food, fly like eagle
Then needed to ,use my brain
I watches without disturbance movie of "POEM"

Dumb

When I first met her I showed her true care
if you’re scared to speak just look at me I’m there
I’ll always protect you any time anywhere
If you find you’re outnumbered each time we’ll pair

Happy and your personality shines through
Sense of humour and you’re good looking too
and I mean sexy the finest ass I ever knew
once a day I can’t help but think of you
Cus I felt love
but I didn’t believe it
I felt love
But I never achieved it
You drifted away but the feeling won’t leave me
Damn, life can be mean

I I told her straight
you’re an absolute diamond
personality and looks
girl you’re a fine one
I’m searching through girls
but I cannot find one
I never made her mine
Dumb

I could have stuck around
but I was too funky down
she could have come with me
I accept now it’s history

When you want a person in your life
and you could have them friend or wife
good company and a happy time
natural bonds when two alike

A true care
A true love
A true pair
Life’s rough
She’s no where
don’t know her
I’m always there
I’m always here

I Surrender To You

I surrender to You
A prayer
By Michelle Morris
02/09/2023

Dear Lord,

Here I am
I surrender to You
I trust in Your plan
Believe in the truth

I know that I'm not alone
Even if I'm feeling alone and voiceless
It's a delusion of being human
Feeling let down by people's choices

I am holding on to hope
I am holding on to faith
I am holding on to positivity
I am holding on to grace

But perhaps I need to let go
Let go of everything
For it is all energy
And it is all connected

I open my arms wide
Let my hands and heart release
May I go forth on the right path
The way Your plans decree

Thank You for Your grace
Thank You for Your mercy
Thank You for Your help
Thank You for Your blessings

Thank You for Your love
Thank You for Your care
Thank You for Your guidance
Thank You for Your nearness

I know that You are with me
I know that Your Angels are here too
I embrace my surrender to my purpose
The Light and wholeness and future new

Amen

Premium Member The Lord's Teaching Bread -Isaiah 30: 20

In our times of real adversity
when our life's are so afflicted
the Lord is speaking to teach
so to His word we'd be addicted

We need to see through God's eyes
for He's in our life's in it all
God afflicts us for a purpose
so to fulfil His will and call

God assures us of being taught
making sure our teacher we would hear
pointing us in the correct way
having God's presence especially near

Our eyes will see our teacher
this instructer will not be hid
we have God's assurance of this
so we can be sure this is no kid

Trust fully upon your God
no matter our affliction
He will keep us true
through to receiving complete salvation

'And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction,
yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes
shall see thy teachers'. Isaiah 30:20 (KJV)

Sunflower

There you are sunflower
I combed through you petal by petal
Searching for answers in your light
You and I are pot and kettle burning to find how we're alike
Yearning to find what I love the most and hate the least
with every sway to east my love increased
but then you ceased
Because I held your stem and swayed you west
The leaf on your neck drooped and dangled but that's the angle I liked you best
I see you sunflower
A fragile little fellow
More than the sky is blue
you're my favorite hue of yellow
I combed through you petal by petal sniffing your calming musk
When i exhaled your scent prevailed but some blades blew off in the gust
Still a handsome gem, you are
More than ever before
A gem indeed is the stem you need to hold your brown core
When shadows cascade to your leafy green
I've seen what makes the world go round
Your romantic whistle in the wind is my favorite sound
I know you sunflower
You are drawn to me
But even I can see you struggle to shine
I focus and notice the bend in your spine
Are you still mine?
I comb through you petal by petal
So much less than I started with
I think you're my sunflower
So I settle because the perfect flower doesn't exist
You are my sunflower
But you've become less patient
Our loving times feel almost ancient
Nothing I do seems to dispel your gloom?
Sunflower, why can't you just bloom?
Do you do this on purpose to keep me at bay?
As if day by day you're wilting away
Does it really matter the direction you sway?!
Where are you sunflower
You're so brass and uptight
Your petals keep falling between the blades of grass that kept you upright
I'm tired of combing through you petal by petal
trying to find what I once saw in you
What's left of your yellow is a darker hue
So long you fragile fellow
There are plenty of sunflowers in the meadow
Our past is blurry but clear to me are sun rays and beams binging and singing on the fresher flowers
We're not that alike, the pot and kettle
Loving you became hard as heavy metal
Because I combed through you petal by petal
