Now, I grant you, I am just an ant
I get along with other ants
We make our home among the plants.
We work all day in harmony
A perfect world, I'd have to say!
Some might think I'm here to rant
about my size. They may surmise
that I'm not smart enough to realize
how perfect my small world could be
if humans cared enough for me
We try so hard to keep away
from peril, stress and YOU each day
But now and then we stray across
the sidewalk or a path you take.
You never look or seem to know
you've smashed us with a heel or toe!
You hoe your weeds. Our meager needs
are compromised by seeds you sow!
The homes we've built, and eggs we've laid
are pulverized with mower blades!
A perfect world for you and me
would be to end this genocide!
You stay inside….I'll stay outside
We'll get along. And side by side
we'll both reside quite happily !!

In the chill of the October eve, we stepped out into the night,
A pair of wayward souls in costumes, ready for our fright.
With a wink and a laugh, I laced my fingers through yours,
We were phantoms of the evening, in our Halloween tours.
Oh, jeepers creepers, what a fright,
Twirling with specters in the soft moonlight.
Each step we took, a shiver of glee,
Creepin' through the night, just you and me.
We leapt as a shriek pierced the haunted air,
Our hearts pounded faster with the thrill of being there.
Through the maze of terror, with a hand on my side,
We surrendered to the madness, with laughter as our guide.
Oh, jeepers creepers, what a sight,
Ghoulish waltzes under the waning light.
With every gasp, there's a tingle, a spark,
Creepin' through the night, we're leaving our mark.
Pumpkin eyes aglow, casting an orange hue,
A coven of revelers, in masks and costumes too.
Your cackle mingles with the cool night's breath,
In this festival of fears, it's your laughter that defeats death.
Oh, jeepers creepers, what a treat,
Dancing with spirits, our hearts skip a beat.
With every twirl, there's magic to find,
Creepin' through the night, one of a kind.
As the night wanes, let's toast with our cups held high,
To the ghouls and the ghosts, to the fun we've come to vie.
This Halloween escapade, a memory we'll cherish tight,
Forever we'll whisper of our creepin' good night.

The Saint...
Sometimes I question the choices & decisions I’ve made.
Is this another fad that will eventually fade?
Do I follow my own heart or rebel against man,
Exercise free will or is this in God’s plan?
My family’s disowned me because I’ve chosen to believe.
What crime have I committed for the punishment received?
I confess strongly without shame or guilt.
A participant in life, this is the hand I was dealt.
God exists. He’s evident in the air that I breathe.
He sits high, yet I feel closer to him down on my knees.
I star in my own movie, God’s featured a lot.
I have faith… I don’t need to see heat to be hot.
...And The Atheist
I, too, have been cast out by my own sisters and brother,
Just because I don’t believe the same as the others.
I have no faith in the world of spirituality.
It’s a simple matter of science to me.
I see people every day that believe in a god of some form.
I just don’t think that there’s only one way to conform.
I have to see and touch this way of life.
Just like you, I take care of my children and wife.
I work hard for the money I make and the food I provide.
I shouldn’t have to defend my beliefs to those outside.
In my life, many good things have happened, and some bad.
Just like you, I grieve for the loss of a loved one, I feel sad.
I, too, feel happiness, sorrow, anger, and pain; so you see…
When you get right down to it, we’re the same, you and me.
A fact and a fallacy,
Our observable reality.
A space shared by so many,
Exploring and forming its identity.
Through thoughts from you and me,
Comparing, preparing collectively.
Inner worlds act reflectively,
Creating what you see.
Acting as the entity,
Carrying you to me.
To my destiny,
To the rest of me.
The best of me,
Who I truly see.
A symphony to the Galaxy,
One entity separately.
All creating energy,
Finding balance in harmony.
Disarming negativity,
With heightened sensitivity.
We start shifting collectively,
Perceptively.
Our Perspective equally,
On being the change We wish to see.
Living respectively,
Spreading positivity.
Reflecting a reality you wish to see,
Without labels or scarcity.
Wipe away the tears and listen to the voice – of a heart who knows, love is the only choice ~ by author
Tears didn’t come when I first heard
The words of this illness, so absurd
When a tumor is found, the light stills
Because we all know a fear that kills
Tears weren’t wiped away until I prayed
Jesus answered even though I was afraid
He told me to never listen to the voice of fear
Because He has the answers, makes things clear
Tears didn’t come that very first day
They were waiting for love to convey
Assurance that kindles a hope and reason
With Jesus there is love to fill each season
Tears weren’t the first answer for me
Instead I felt His touch as I bent my knee
He is here to show us that love will make a way
Whatever comes, for us, He has the final say
Tears didn’t come until I remembered what love has done
He brought the heart a second chance with His only Son
He saved the sinner who was destined for the worst place
Changed a life so that they’d be freed by His amazing grace
Tears weren’t the first thing to fall against the ground
First I knew the touch of the One who love has crowned
And I felt the joy of knowing whatever comes to me
With Him, there is the promise that I’ll forever be free!
Tears didn’t come when I heard the words so feared
They came to my eyes when the smoke had cleared
And I remembered that this love I feel inside my heart
Is a love that my Savior stirred from the very start
Tears weren’t the answer, though they stung my eyes
They were the relief from a heart who He baptized
The tears told a story of a longing for God’s very best
Even though, through this illness, we’re put to the test
Tears didn’t come when I first heard the word ‘tumor’
They clung to my soul, leaving the doubtful rumor
Only time will tell what Jesus has in store for you and me
I know, whatever comes, LOVE has caused me to truly see!
Do you want to meet in this poem
The unique man who has no boredom
He cooperates with all
In the summer winter and fall
His friendly gestures are indeed wholesome
Close by the seashore he wanders though
Rising from the sea where the breezes blow
He hates the gray boredom
He loves the pink freedom
Looking at the sea his eyes in the brilliance glow
Wearing a blue shirt of poetry
Lends his hand to everybody
Large medium or small
In the slum or hall
In his heart resides a scarlet harmony
Whenever you call him come swim with me
With laughter he will readily agree
With a love and affection
Will lead you into the ocean
Wherever he goes he builds a community
Whether you are a friend or an alien
With the communicative eyes are spun
The intimate friendship
As tender as the palm leaf
Ready to blossom in a crimson cooperation
He is the warm friend Robinson
An enemy he considers no one
In the ocean moonlit
He is the playful spirit
Giving everybody a sound protection
Most of his time he passes in the sea
The trusted friend to you and me
The strength of the breakers
The creator of colours
With him and his family I am in a pink spree
I came to know him a month before only
Yesterday when a man called him loudly
Dolphin, Dolphin, Hey
A tremor in my bouquet
Hello, he responded proudly
A dolphin looks from the seashore
The lyrics bloom in the rapport
Two dolphins handsome
The blossoming guitars strum
They hug each other and float a blue corridor

There comes a time when we
Find ourselves with all new
Thought to fill our minds
This is when you have searched
Until the sky turns from dark to blue
All of this because I have found you
As I draw you near to make sure
These feelings are sincere
I can't help thinking of the fear
There comes a time when we must trust
So we can leave all our past lust behind
We are better off going into this blind
So it won't remind us of the love
That we could not define
All of this because our time is hear
And nothing has ever felt more clear
There comes a time when it would appear
Your life is about to change in such a big way
So we must clear our minds so the fear will disappear
As our love starts to grow
In such a big way
That we might both live to love another day
One that will make our life grow
If we treat it with the attention respect
That reflects all the things that are you and me
Then our future is here that much is clear
I'm so happy that we have emptied our minds
Of all those loves we could not define
.
because like wine
It's only going to get better with time
We are like that perfect design
that surrenders your love to mine
Just how refined our love has turned out to be
All of this because we cleared our minds
Of the loves, we left behind
Now our life can change
in such a big way
Because you are all mine
Listen-Listen, do you hear it. Winter is over, Spring has been reborn. The trees are filled with nests, all chirping in unison. Listen-listen, the Spring birds are singing. Each has a song to sing, a song for you and me. Each is dressed in beautiful colors, a new coat of feathers adorned. Some in red-some in blue, all singing I love you.

I am full of anger and rage.
When will I be able to turn this page?
My life is not the way I wish it would be.
But the blessings in between I have to see.
I remember the first time I saw your face.
It was as if time stood still and no one else but you and me, existed.
A peace of heaven, an angel fell from grace.
My strength during endless sorrow, it lifted, vanished, no longer persisted.
I wonder why people fall in love.
Only to be hurt and disappointed most of the time.
Asking for mercy from above.
Sadness and pain should be a crime.
I want to remain intact, frozen, in this moment, for one day.
Forgetting who I use to be before you came into my life, as I see you walk away.
I must confess, that loneliness has been my dear friend, my endless companion since my youth.
Indeed, this is my truth.
Is happiness really worth all of these tears?
The ones I've cried for countless years.
I was blinded, captivated, by what I thought was true love, but now I see.
That in the end, whom I really have left to love, is me.
IF I WERE IMMORTAL
If I were immortal, I will
have attained the life Paul calls, “Real.”
In 1Timothy 6:19
word “Real” … Paul will explain, reveal.
Paul urges us, “Get a firm hold
on The Real Life.” That means what? When?
Words Indicate “real life” something
attains in the future … that’s when.
When is after Armageddon;
and after Satan’s been set free.
After thousand years, faced last test.
passed … now immortal you and me.
God’s will has been accomplished his
will, earth’s a Restored Paradise.
Wicked gone, pain, death, dying, we’re
“Immortal“… “Real Life’s really nice!
Immortal, we’re living as God
originally, meant us to live.
If I Were Immortal, all glorY
to Creator God … forever give.
