It is better to have a dream than not,
even if it is a bad dream, the night after nights
miseries and sore trials. You must, therefore, have a dream.
You must have a dream of such:
the dream that of a young eagle fledges out
with wholly spread wings to soar in the air to the end of the blue sky.
You must have a dream of such:
the dream that of a small seed carried by the wind takes a root
on the crust of earth becomes a huge tree by the riverside at end,
though it has to go through so many winters’ cold blast and repeated burning heat of the summers’ sun.
You must have a dream of such:
the dream that of an early morning dew formed in a crack of a rock
becomes a murmuring stream upon coming together, then flows into
a boundless sea following the current of a river, the rapids, abysses, fall and eddy.
You must have a dream of such:
the dream of that of a piece of white cloud,
apparently at times and unapparent on occasion,
floats lightly over the yonder hill, and one day,
vanishes away in the corner of sky carrying the memories,
the memories that doesn’t matter if some one remembers or not.
It is better to have a dream than not, even if
it is a hideous dream, the torture after tortures
pain and anguish. You must, therefore, have a dream.
Crystal white I see it drop slowly
With out effort it floats on its own
If you could halt its moments only
Lapsed in time its uniqueness shown
But why rob it of its time so slowly?
Precious seconds before its moment
Taking its place with others wholly
Because it’s part of a bigger component
A pictures tapestry begins to form
Its palette ready for the artist’s touch
What perfection today shall we perform?
An only depiction of the heavenly such
It’s agreed then as the artist begins to work
Creation’s sacrifice temporary cold it feels
But its labored result is a unique artwork
Seen now the artist’s angelic image reveals
They once cheer-led the working class,
until they were useful no more,
now they call all of them ‘racist,’
to be hated and deplored.
Ignoring that it’s wholly sane
to fear losing a scarce job
to an illegal immigrant,
to be well and truly robbed.
But all of this was done before,
it’s a cold and brutal fact,
the left created old Jim Crow,
bigot votes feathered their hats,
until they decided dark folks were good,
and handouts their votes did net,
one day they will be cast off too,
there’s nothing left within the left.
They once championed free speech,
now they’re singing a different tune,
if they don’t like what you’ve to say
then they just try to censor you.
And if you still keep talking,
they send out PC-hate brigades
to mob your home, get you fired,
take everything you love away.
If you mention the rule-of-law
all you’ll hear is their laughter,
associate with one of their foes,
they’ll throw you to a prosecutor.
If they find no crime they make one up,
it’s the tactic that they like best,
no cares for justice or the truth,
there’s nothing left within the left.
If you should dare to worship,
try to live by those beliefs,
they’ll say you are ‘intolerant,’
that you conscience is ‘bigotry.’
And yet should any one of them
break a single P.C. law,
they’re ostracized and cast right out,
without a single moment of thought.
When you point out that they have just
chosen a different, unproven faith,
they cry “Fascist!” or just stand there
with a blank look on their face.
Unless, of course, you join Islam,
then they cry,”Don’t even jest!”
Up ’till the day they get blown up…
there’s nothing left within the left.
They still cling to socialism,
though it fails and devastates,
they’d rather rule a ruin then
admit they have made a mistake.
They push us towards a civil war,
if we are not already their,
and the shocking thing about it
is that they do not seem to care.
Power is all they’ve left to crave,
they jones for it like and addict,
if they break lives in its pursuit
then they are just fine with it.
No love of freedom still remains,
morals and principals bereft,
the walkaway folks have it right,
there’s nothing left within the left.
Except maybe death…
In a world where the secretive shawl of night descends slowly,
And the sun, bashful, has retreated, incandescent wholly,
Imagine that in the celestial veil, tender you enfold me,
And I, like a leaf in the wind, let your desire to stream through me, freely.
Your arms, like two seas gathering me into their swell,
Carry me to undefined realms where you reign, and I, just as well.
Tremors of comets piercing the purity of spaces between stars,
Ignite heavenly flames, that grow, that burn, in the heart of night, as ours.
I feel how your arms, once unsure, now wrapped in strength's shroud,
Begin to dance, their fatigue crushed under the fervent heat, unbowed,
Until, weary from the terrible, wonderful meandering of longing,
They rest, white lilies, across the contour of my body, the lilac seas belonging.
The love that we've woven together to be everlasting,
Spills like a tranquil river into a dream silhouette, enticing, outcasting.
And you, upon this river of passionate adoration, are the captivating captain,
With me, your vessel of crystal, caught in the immensity of this floral explosion to happen.
Oh, my body, which you traverse as an old map filled with promise,
Where every whisper is an island, every touch, a pervasive river, honest.
Both explorers of this strange and delicate land,
We rise together, dragons with butterfly wings, over the night garden at hand.
And in the pearlescent glow of the stars that twinkle subtly,
We rest, two beings stretched across the infinite carpet of the universe, mutely,
Where countless galaxies weave the music of the spheres with quivering tone,
And my sigh, in accord with your silence, becomes prayer, becomes a song shown.

In the tumult of rays and shadows, I was born and grew,
Upon the altar of existence, self-sacrifices I laid to burn, to sanctify the past,
"But how do you soothe this fragrance of pain?" with wide-open eyes they asked,
And the answer flowed, a river of healing beneath stars curiously scrutinized.
"Not all that hurts must be stirred, nor all wounds constantly prodded,
Let them bleed, in their seemingly dormant sleep, in crypts of oblivion to lie,"
So taught me time, the healer of falling moons,
The cut remains, a mark small as it may be, a memory that won't fade,
A fragile chronicle chanted in spells of scattered survivals.
And she has built in silence, a monument of peace on steep ascents,
"To bleed inward, a lesson to be written in letters of fire and water,
For unhealed, wounds cause us to mar innocent hearts,
Those who did not harm us, on them we will impose unsummoned tears."
Thus, words lay like leaves in the forest slumbering with dreams,
Each rustle a mystery, each branch an advice for adrift souls,
To let bruises fade away, instead of incessantly carving them, misunderstood,
He who learns to bleed no more, in the end, learns also to love.
Like a spider's web catching the morning dew in magical weaves,
Life weaves stories upon my skin, leaves marks in the fabric of time that lives me,
For some parts of us must be laid in ash to be reborn wholly,
Forever admonishing that healing is a sacred fire, an art of nature, reverent, daily.

In the realm where words intertwine,
A tale of rain, fierce to remind,
Where shadows dance, emotions ignite,
Beneath the veil of a moonless night.
The heaviest rain falls, a torrential pour,
As if the skies weep and implore,
To cleanse the world of all its pain,
Washing away the sins and the stain.
And in this tempest, I stand alone.
Realizing my own stupidity, I bemoan
How easily I was deceived and led astray.
By the one who held my heart at bay.
I whim our love was true and real.
But now I grasp the truth—the deal.
You acted as a magician, tugging the strings.
Guiding every action, and the delight it brings.
If only I had suspected if only I had known,
Behind your smile, darkness had grown.
Your eyes, as a stormy sea, are so deep.
Hiding the secrets you would always keep
But now, I view it through your guise.
The color of your eyes—the truth it implies.
For in the depths of your gaze, I find,
A reflection of wickedness, malice, unkind.
Lucky was I to have seen through the veil.
To have escaped your twisted tale.
To have realized your intentions were so vile,
And now, my heart—longs to defile.
In my sight, you once held such sway,
But now I'd wish to devour you, push you to pay.
For the pain and the lies you inflicted on me,
I'll reclaim my power and set myself free.
In this realm where words intertwine,
I'll write a raw story, one that's wholly mine.
hello
it's me
the result of your unrestrained vices.
i was born from the ground up
from the mouth of the gaping crater left by the density, and gravity of your monolithic pile of sin:
the same crater that exposes the veins of the earth,
causing the magma to bleed out from the skin:
the same skin that has already been,
eroded from the inside out by the seed of dishonor, and rusted by the blood of your wives, your children, your concubines, your brothers, and sisters and neighbors.
the same neighbors who have decided on your condemnation.
you shall eat the dust,
until the dust itself eats you.
you shall eat it until you are completely full and wholly dissatisfied.
your blade, which you hold, will become molten steel in your hand.
And the bone of the arm that holds that molten steel shall be broken into 7 segments,
and those segments of bone shall be removed from the skin and pushed into your toothless mouth
and what is left of the arm will be filled with salted concrete and stitched up and wrapped with sandpaper.
your organs and blood shall be removed and replaced with that of those you have killed.
what remains of their lives will enact revenge against your own body.
your sentence shall be finished only when the insatiable appetite of Satan pulls your soul out of your cursed vessel,
and straight into the gaping abyss that is his mouth.
I was in my sins being seemingly without hope and saving
But God the Father granted me His son Jesus endless mercies grace
Now I am clean completely copiously more or less
quite perfectly wholly repented, renewed heavenly bless
utterly fully all halleluiah
entirely thoroughly absolutely
O’ My father found me
Now I am gladly Oh so madly, now I am
Perfectly Totally found
exactly
altogether all over heartily
at length in whole substantially
through and through generally
Out of the blue
Skies shining brilliants hues
predominantly greatly unqualifiedly
O’ My father found me
Now I am gladly Oh so madly, now I am
Perfectly Totally found
downright to the max
categorically to the hilt
down to the ground down the line
infinite, limitless, boundless tilt
O’ My father found me
Now I am gladly Oh so madly, now I am
Perfectly Totally found
primarily principally extensive innumerable
generously abundantly predominately halleluiah
overall hands down by and large vast unlimited
immeasurable illimitable measureless fathomless
unmeasured inestimable incomputable
O’ My father found me
Now I am gladly Oh so madly, now I am
Perfectly Totally found
unbounded unfathomable
immense inexhaustible bottomless indefinite
abysmal incalculable
immensurable exhaustless halleluiah
O’ My father found me
Now I am gladly Oh so madly, now I am
Father, Father I thank you Lord God I am Perfectly Totally found

From SpokenWords Anthology
" I BEEN WORKING ON ME ME MR. JAMES "
I confess that as a child the ruthless caused me
crippling pain with deeply wounding words and
bodily attacks that led me to falter through life.
I confess that various family member’s inflicted
incessant cruel criticisms that wholly damaged
my character leaving a soul shattered in shame!
I confess that all of these hypercritical people
painted me with a dark psyche and their evil
assumptions resulted in an imprisoned stigma.
I confess to never evolving as an adult due to severe
childhood trauma and domestic violence, and as such,
it is necessary to speak to me as if I'm a Child!
I confess to being stuck in my adolescence probably
between 6 and 13 yrs. old and can’t remove myself
from that timeline, so, I plead, how do I move on?
I confess that during childhood the intolerant
labels of shy, odd and withdrawn caused me to
be ostracized while living in utter humiliation.
I confess that in elementary school, my hands were hit
until they bled for laughing. And my father punched me
in the face for laughing destroying any possibility of joy.
I confess that my brokenness is impossible to
mend due to the atrocities inflicted. I tried to be
silent for so long drowning in unspeakable hurt.
I confess to having fast and frequent flashes of the
details of the horrors committed against me causing
doubt of whether I blacked out during the worst of it.
I confess that I pray every day to be set free from
the shackles they’ve built all around me, leading to
my many missteps for which I beg for compassion.
I confess that my broken spirit sought fairness and
kindness from everyone who I crossed paths with
but instead I found solitary condemnation.
I confess to pleading most urgently for the wicked
to cease from inflicting unbearable anguish on
God’s frail ones according His Word!
