Lord God, You Are My Correction Standard

July 31 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Jeremiah 43-47 Key Verse – Jeremiah 46:28 Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished. LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY CORRECTION STANDARD Lord God, You are my correction Standard midst snares of iniquity around transgression-captivity Thank You for keeping me within Your pardon of wondrous serenity Along Your driving sovereign authority For my enjoyment in Your promised eternal security. Lord God, You are my correction Standard midst evil wickedness Thank You for leading me to walk upon Your statutes’ truthfulness Along Your sanctifying holiness For my righteousness against worldliness’ destructiveness. Lord God, You are my correction Standard midst corruption’s consumption and filthiness' abomination Thank You for disciplining me of my disobedience with Your compassion Along Your exhorting admonition For my victory by Your purification to involve in Your great commission. Lord God, You are my correction Standard midst threats against vow-performance Thank You for nourishing me with Your sustenance Along Your watchful guidance For my warning from being a failure due to vain arrogance. Lord God, You are my correction Standard midst woe and sorrow-caused sighing Thank You for shielding me so in Your perfect will, I’ll keep on staying Along Your caring comfort and concern in my moments of crying For my courage to face challenges, grievously trying. Lord God, You are my correction Standard midst desolation’s wastage of rejection voltage Thank You for saving me from hell-fire damage and eternal hostage Along Your ready provision against calamity’s shortage For my peace while savouring Your granted everlasting heritage. Lord God, You are my correction Standard midst fear’s torture as well as deceit's culture Thank You for purifying me with Your forgiveness-nurture Along Your perfect Word of sin-smiting gesture For my triumph in soaring toward faith-venture.
