“Oh that ship has sailed..”
Shaking his head, following her voice as it trailed
He smiles to himself, ’give it time’, he knew, rays of Joy crack through disdain
It was love at first sight, the surround greyed and paled
Spotting this electric eccentric, dancing in the rain
“Oh that ship has sailed..”
As time flowed by, he knew how they’d not failed
He is her best friend through all; hysterical laughter to anguish and pain
He smiles to himself, ‘give it time’, he knew, rays of Joy crack through disdain
She loves him wholehearted, though never been veiled
On the news of their daughter, he’d tried proposing, in vain
“Oh that ship has sailed..”
Now soo much older, their matured rich love haled
She is both bubbly and light, and a grumpy old pain
He smiles to himself, “give it time’, hew knew, rays of Joy crack through disdain
She turns to face him, happy laughter regaled
He takes her hand, “So about that sword cane…”

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR COMFORTING ME
Thank You for comforting me, welcoming me to Your fellowship
Even ushering me toward Your friendship…
Now, I come to Your throne along Your offered intimate relationship
Behold my joy of wholehearted worship.
Thank You for comforting me, restoring me with Your supply-gain
Even feeding me at Your table of satisfaction-reign…
Now, I have food to eat with nutritious grain
Behold my contentment against dissatisfaction strain.
Thank You for comforting me, showing me Your kindness
Even fetching me out of loneliness…
Now, I bow down with reverence-humbleness
Behold my praise with sincere gratefulness.
Thank You for comforting me, setting me in Your liberty
Even fighting for me midst any adversity…
Now, I hide in Your love’s security
Behold my submission with earnest honesty.
Thank You for comforting me, helping me by Your might
Even strengthening me against adversary’s height…
Now, I draw nigh to Your triumphant light
Behold my good courage for righteousness-fight.
Thank You for comforting me, leading me to Your heart
Even upholding me, right from the very start…
Now, I abide in Your Word, never to depart
Behold my conviction, shield from worldliness’ dart.

The Gift of Life
Every day as I open my eye, a brand new sun shines bright in the sky,
Every flower that colours my day, keeps gloom and darkness at bay,
Every breeze that sends fragrance, a gift of life feels His essence,
Every meal that my mom cooks, satiates my appetite to contented looks,
Every friend waiting me arrive, a sweet smile gives logic to survive,
Every laugh that goes in air, an achievement shows its unique flair,
Every tear has something to teach, as flow of emotions will preach,
Every heartbeat that speaks of love, thrives for the peaceful dove,
Every relation has its own taste, without these life is a big waste,
Every work is a daily worship, wholehearted and not with a whip,
Every material thing is a lust, never to forget mortality comes must,
Every soul that behaves kind, sends glitter even in eyes of a blind,
Every night I pray to The Lord, give might to the pen and let perish the sword !

We entreat the Lord for you:

Midst mirth-filled greetings

Oblivious of disability’s vexation…
Triumphantly presenting his abstract art work
His boyish swagger prevails, devoid of haughtiness
Revealing “confidence-to-the max” wholehearted glee
With his branded thumbs-up sign
Defying hypocrisy’s jeers…
Approaching the sanctuary’s altar with joy
He is meekly propelled by his swagger walk
While I prop him with love and patience
Thanking God* for the honourable privilege
To assist a special child, testifying "I'm proud of him."

Joy Unspeakable
Culminate since birth, sprung opened trials,
hither, somewhat tither, consequence waits,
opportune knock as an opened door smiles,
means of one's worth misery, rapture rates.
Character, their drawn portion brings about,
steadfastness accrued, witnessed by others,
contentment approves summation per clout,
worries cringe test, gladness is my druthers.
Cheerfulness wholehearted, sure of oneself,
planned groundwork correspond accurately,
prevailing arrangement fills some bookshelf,
groundbreaking moments burst rapturously.
Enchanting anecdotes, proving their ground,
recurrence linked praising is the best sound.

FAITH IN GOD WHO BLESSES US ABUNDANTLY
God blesses us abundantly according to the Scriptures
For Biblical servanthood gestures
While we feast in His provisions’ pastures
And trust Him along faith-driven adventures.
God blesses us abundantly by the Holy Spirit
For our fellowship with Him along His grand merit
While we do His will with His Word’s wit
And follow Him along faith-guided journey to where He wants us fit.
God blesses us abundantly with divine zeal
For ministry-labour along His compassion’s deal
While we involve in His church of Great Commission’s seal
And call unto Him along faith-propped prayer, as we kneel.
God blesses us abundantly toward righteousness
For the increase of good works’ faithfulness
While we shine in His light’s brightness
And testify for Him along His faith-upheld steadfastness.
God blesses us abundantly upon heavenly values
For the manifestation of Christ-like virtues
While we walk on His paths of truth-avenues

For jubilant soulwinning of wholehearted sincerity
While we do our discipleship-duty by His mercy’s bounty

God gives us wise counsel against discouragement
For us to overcome emptiness-ailment
As we seek His will in our Bible reading-engagement
With faith’s trust in His empowerment.
God gives us wise counsel against worldliness
For us to practice holy steadfastness
As we stick to His Word of truthfulness
With faith’s drive toward good works’ bountifulness.
God gives us wise counsel against pride
For us to keep on staying on His side
As we exalt Him and in His grace, always hide
With faith’s diligence to strive for heavenly stride.
God gives us wise counsel against falling into iniquity
For us to become prayerful in our wholehearted sincerity
As we flee from temptations by His strength so mighty
With faith’s conviction to stand upon His authority.
God gives us wise counsel against attacks of pressure
For us to find peace in His compassion beyond measure
As we admit our unbelief in His promises that assure
With faith’s determination to live for His pleasure.
God gives us wise counsel against complaining
For us to submit to Him despite fleshly whining
As we worship Him Who is majestically reigning
With faith’s thanksgiving for vision’s brightening.
God gives us wise counsel against mourning because of despair
For us to move on by His compassion and care
As we praise Him that His Gospel we can share

Compassion
upholding helpfulness
toward better lives…
Such is the seed embedded along plots
of noble charitable institutions
to bloom along their vision-mission-goals
as well as to blossom
like flowers beautifying communities
then producing laudable fruits
effectively becoming assets and blessings, too.
Such is the ideal
and the supposed-to-be anchor
bracing up foundations
funded by philanthropists and caring people
in their love-geared motive.
God be thanked for them
May they be blessed to do and increase more---
Yet in the cloak of kindness
adorned with heavenly promises
varied helping organizations sprout
offering poverty-alleviation schemes
toward financial freedom
along gentle persuasion
of "good faith" exercise---
Yes, in the name of wholehearted contributions
they pursue outreach programs
grant scholarships and medical assistance
but with vested interests
verily undeniable---
Can we forbid the proliferation
of life-building ventures
with hidden agenda
lurking in the guise of charity???
May the Lord help* us be a real help to others!
*Psalm 33:20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
