My God, Thank You For Comforting Me

Thank You for comforting me, restoring me with Your supply-gain Even feeding me at Your table of satisfaction-reign… Now, I have food to eat with nutritious grain Behold my contentment against dissatisfaction strain. Thank You for comforting me, showing me Your kindness Even fetching me out of loneliness… Now, I bow down with reverence-humbleness Behold my praise with sincere gratefulness. Thank You for comforting me, setting me in Your liberty Even fighting for me midst any adversity… Now, I hide in Your love’s security Behold my submission with earnest honesty. Thank You for comforting me, helping me by Your might Even strengthening me against adversary’s height… Now, I draw nigh to Your triumphant light Behold my good courage for righteousness-fight.
