She gasps in shallow puffs; eyes half – lit
Thick fur once ebon littering the floor
With a belly that dangled like a lump of yarn,
On a vicious night when stars grew still.
Candy used to greet me, wagging short tail
A ‘meow’ strengthening me through rough days
Pouncing on my lap, she always got her whims
Like extra tuna and balls to play hide-and –seek.
Slowly, a feline gait lost its usual prance
Went through her pain, as she did with mine.
Had a few mishaps before, yet Candy prevailed
A tough bobtail gifted with lucky streaks.
While she looked at me with a fading glimpse
My heart bore the holes, why now?
Aren’t cats supposed to have nine lives
When they told me, Candy had to rest.
As she whimpered her deepest last,
I couldn’t bear the cry, the whiplash.
Hugging the urn where she now lays,
The ninth was ours, in soul and remembrances.

Tell me,
My dear friend,
My beloved brother,
My trusted ally,
Till when are we going to let
The autocrats
The dictators
The despots, and
The tyrants govern us?
Till when do we intend to allow these
Barbarous
Vicious
Immoral, and
Unholy glory-seekers rule our lives?
Till when are we going to permit these ignorant monsters,
To imprison,
To torture,
To maim, and
To kill their own people?
Till when are we going to observe these savages;
Attacking,
Occupying,
Enslaving, and
Obliterating smaller nations?
For how many more millennia do we have to witness the devastation of
Humanity because of these morally impotent criminals who
Instill tons of hatred in the hearts and minds of our fellow humans?
Tell me, my friend, my brother, my trusted ally,
Isn't about time to revolt against such malicious rulers?
Against such practices?
Against war?
Against ignorance, and
Against injustice?
Has not the time come to replace these bloodthirsty evil men
With virtuous men?
With men of a loving heart and mind?
With knowledgeable men?
With compassionate men for peace?
With men of wisdom and justice?
Come now, my fellow human,
I wish you would agree with me.
I want you to agree with me.
I beg you to agree with me.
I implore you to agree with me if you, too, wish to see a
Fellowship of men and nations that cares for each other and is:
Kinder,
Nobler, and more
Loving,
Otherwise,
The afflictions of humanity will never end,
Unless, as Plato* has indicated in his Republic**,
The wise and the just would rule the world
Or
Those who rule the world become just and
Wise!

Judgment
I read that a court of law renders judgments in legal matters.
Whether these judgments are arbitrated for the good of all or harbingers of evil.
As a Species, we make judgments on others based on what we experience and believe. Sometimes the judgements we make are in error and we seek why?
But what is the driving force of erroneous judgments?
Is it emotional fear which aggravates our judgement and creates more fear?
Those who are infected with this vicious cycle only believe that controlling others will they be safe, but they are not.
Emotional erroneous judgments are not based on logical process.
They will use this false judgement to divide others into manageable groups.
This is a fallacy.
It will only lead to the enslavement of the groups that are divided, however, those who enslave others are too enslaved.
Think bodyguards and restrictive movements based on animosity of the slaves.
Breaking this viciousness requires us to Love our enemies.
Show them that this love we have will free them from this bondage and free all into a more loving community.
As a united people across this world we will do wonders with the help of God.

Chances
Chances I am afraid to take;
My heart is so easy to break.
Beguiled by a deceiving smile.
For better or worse,
the vows I dare not make;
Chances that I dare not take.!
The past’s been sealed by my mistakes.
Your smile’s, but an inviting trap.
The eyes don't lie.
Here’s what they speak
“Take the chance; they say
I place this decision in your lap”.
I will give you a good honeymoon
though abrupt may be the union
Yes, that’s what those eyes revealed to me.
The eyes cannot pretend.
“Chances are I won’t commit,” they said.
and that's why of love I ‘am shy...
Don’t want to give my love away
just to be hurt again in the end.
“Oh, love why have thou forsaken me”?
And why have you given me such wise eyes...?
And a discerning spirit, that burns inside?
As I still yearn for the comfort that love makes.
Still, no chances do I take...
Afraid to make mistakes;
No trust, no life, no risk...
Nearly always cautious.
Afraid to be surprised
“So paranoid it makes me nauseous”
What kind of life will I have;
If I bury my head in the past?
This is nonsense, So I relent;
Come and catch me in the trap of your smile.
Embrace me with your gaze.
Teach me to trust again.
This loneliness has gotten vicious!
Maybe if l am able to love again.
I’ll be not so quite suspicious.
I may be vulnerable, but lovable;
I’ll try again as I give in,
throwing caution to the gods of chance
Now open for the arms of romance.
Awaiting to be ravished and kissed
Taking one last risk.
For loves possibilities.
Recall when you came to this world,
Born like a free bird
Worries you’d none to fret,
And all your needs met.
To explore the wide land,
God gave eyes and a hand,
Ears to hear, nose to smell,
A tongue to taste as well.
Food-less you rarely went
For, kind mother He’d sent,
And as your frame grew in girth,
Strong teeth He gave of worth.
Yet greed gave rise to nagging,
Your prayers nigh but begging
And simple basic need
Grew like vulture’s vicious greed.
Wishes bred more wants
And dreams daunting haunts
Growing like wild weeds--
A pauper's pathetic pleads.
When God shaped dust to moulding clay,
He wanted toys to play His play,
Alas, they broke His heart and joy—
Toy turning a blind beggar boy.

Gaia had deemed insects as king of beasts
After the last humans departed in spaceship 'Stephen Hawkings'.
'Planet Water' was in ruins, polluted, wrecked by
Runaway climate change and raging storms.
Ants has arisen as king and insect rulers
With superior organisation and pervasive presence
They evolved and grew as big as cattle
Subduing all other animals and beasts.
Yet, the terror of the Tyrannosaurus Mantis
Made all beasts tremble, when the quivering
Shadows of looming praying mantis spread over ground
Like that of Tyrannosaurus rex once terrorized past life.
Triangular head with huge bulging eyes, and vicious jaws
Could swivel around all angles, front, side and behind,
So nothing could escape its silent pervasion,
As it pranced, poised, stalked and postured on ground and in trees.
Huge forelegs, covered in spines, held coiled-up like arms in position of prayer,
Showed no mercy when they sprung out and grabbed innocent prey
Dragging bodies back, twitching and writhing in recoiled spiny forearms
To be munched alive in vicious sharp jaws, mounted acutely on triangular head.
Tyrannosaurus Mantis evolved with the ants to beasts as big as rhinos.
The ants as rulers, tried various ways to control them, kill them off for good.
But so far, no pathway to extinction for praying mantis had been found,
As some ancient god, mantis worshiped in prayer, seemed to protect them.
The in-between
It is hard to live in the in-between
when the in-between cradles the past
which I believed to have been put aside
like a garbage bag in a deserted field
hidden between the cliffs and the sea,
between what you believed to have loved
and what you love today, between here and there,
between ‘how are you?’ and ‘is all well?’,
rocking like a ripe cumin plant
between one bay and another,
moving like the sea between one island and another.
It is tough to live in the in-between
when the in-between is hidden
between what is and fiction,
between the wretched thoughts and the vicious feelings.
Maybe today I will be able to relax
in the water flowing
from one step
to another.
We could have been friends
but you chose to hate
The damage is done
and now it's too late
I can forgive
but I cannot forget
how you made me feel
such fear and regret
How could you believe
those lies you were told?
You gave me no chance
Your blood is so cold
You doubted my word
You painted me black
and launched from afar
a vicious attack
Your bandwagon ride
provides all the tools
to spread your destruction
with liars and fools
You don't even know me
and yet you conclude
that I am a monster
a madman unglued
This land is awash
with hatred and fear
foundations are shaky
our future unclear
And all this insanity
you helped to spread
are manifestations
of what's in your head
To reason you're blinded
To truth you're opposed
and no light can enter
a mind that is closed
You project onto others
from deep down inside
the ugliness in you
that you try to hide
Your actions, more flighty
than a great many birds,
make lies of your lofty
and high-minded words
You're quick to condemn
and fast to accuse
all the poor people
you carelessly use
to advance your agenda
with myopic sight
completely convinced
that you're in the right
And all of the while
you're failing to see
that you are the cause
of your own misery
And if you CAN see it
your pride is too great
to surrender your tantrum
of anger and hate
And so, in the end
when you look around
at all of the carnage
and blood on the ground
Take comfort in thinking
that your cause was just
though your only motives
were power and lust
How will you survive
in a world all your own
with no one to hate
so empty, alone?
No one to accuse
not one you can see
Just what is your purpose
now that you're free?

OF CRUCIFYING PAIN AND HEALING GRACE
The thing about crucifying pain is that it can drive you insane;
And though we’ve all experienced it, for each it’s not the same:-
Yet, we all seem to overlook, imagining the pain of
Christ, hanging on that cross in healing faith:-
Likewise, we tend not to be aware of the pain of helplessness of those
Praying for God to come, and heal your pain, and give you a break:-
Be faithful in bearing your health-bearing, painful crucifixion;
Knowing that such nailing pain will lose to healing ascension.
Know that what medicines may take lengths of time to heal;
Ask God immediately to heal you spiritually; enduring how you feel.
Yes…yes…yes, vicious pain can come and brutally slap you down,
But God’s healing grace can come–and for a while–keep you around:-
I gave birth to the monster
Under my bed
It spoke softly of a sweeter time
When I was the center of
Attention
And I craved it more than any drug
Intensely lonely
fearful
vicious
Snorted on a silver platter
It does not know of love
And frankly nor do I
For we joined at the hip
When it donned my disguise
To know that we are one
In everlasting war
Until I light the fuse
And detonate the core
I'll never go to sleep
I'll never say my prayers
The shadow's cast
Across my floor
Quoth the monster:
givememore
