Three of us went out to bowl
For this is done by many, the young and the old
We talked as we waited and stood in line
For the leagues to finish using up their time
We got our lane, now let the games begin
To see who will be the winner when we get to the end
My bowling started off like oh so whack
I couldn't even believe I was bowling like that
I gutter balled to the left and then to the right
And wondered if this was gonna happen all night
One person bowled strikes almost the whole night through
For this is something he so loves to do
He bowled them strikes like back to back to back
And he wasn't trying to give nobody no slack
The other one also bowled better than me
For I was indeed the worst of the three
I think they were bowling strikes so they could get another glance
At this nice figure bent over in them gray fitted pants
I know they were looking and imaging too
For that's in their nature and that's just what men do
I was being challenged all the way around
Cause I wasn't used to having the guard rails down
I knew I could knock down at least one pin
Or was I being distracted by these two fine men
I went to the bathroom just to get away
And one had to wonder if I went there to pray
Because when I got back, I was better than before
As I rolled that ball straight down the middle of the floor
I rolled some strikes and even some nines
Cause I wasn't trying to be left way behind
We had nachos and pizza as we sat down and ate
And enjoyed each other's company on our bowling date
Alright, it's crunch time, time to bring our A game
For we all wanted to shine with a high score by our name
Every step taken was done in stride
And each ball rolled, was rolled with pride
There were chants and cheers and high fives too
See motivating each other is something we do
We didn't care about the time cause we were having such fun
The next thing I knew, it was twenty after one
Bowling was cool, I must truly say
When it was all said and done, the winner was Ray
"Sir" want me to call something --
A name?
Well call then what you can.
Am I worth naming "sir" !! call any name.
My mother said, I was blesses by rain water
through our thetchet roof first day I was born,
Caught up with something called 'Pneumonia'.
However, I survived a life --
One that a catfish has (a cat has nine lives);
Or, a dungbeetle.
My father could never feed us well,
Using up the drops of sweat after the pawnbroker.
My mother's tear never dried from her cheeks,
As she kept on fighting with odds bits every single day.
My father poured all his life's rage on the poor little lady everyday --
Bashed, fisted, kicked, lashed, slapped, pulled, drugged
And she died.
Police came and handcuffed him;
I known nothing of him since then.
I just know, when my small little house was subided in Padma (a river)
Five small children (including me) of my impoverished mother came to the town.
Fance around of Polithin,
A small mosquito net, where other people heaved and paid my aunt;
We were kept out, under the open sky then,
Till the summertime.
One day I got lost deliberately;
I know nothing of them everafter --
Nor should I try.
I am a 'rickshawpuller' brother
I neither have a name, nor can remember what my parants gave.
No connection, no memory, no place to live
I came here for easy money;
Pulling the passengers on a steep road, heaving chest heavily
While they are kissing each other on the seat.
I grin and keep quiet.
I don't know how old I am, where will I go,
Or, even, why am I created for!
I gamble, smell opium at night and sometimes take girls on road.
Well "Sir", one day my passenger kicked me
For, I charged too much;
Called my mane with many more street-rhymes;
Lastly called me 'dungbeetle'
He came to the point after long time
With his nimble choppy rhyme
Gave me a name I was looking for
That goes with ruthless poverty, and the poor.
(What Mankind Forgot)
We forgot our place in life
We forgot how to be alive
We forgot our connection to life and the cosmos
We filled our homes, schools and hospitals with the killer asbestos
We forgot our ancient wisdom
We forgot the wisdom from the opening of our heart the knowledge and stories of How we did come About and how we did start
We forgot the knowledge of natures forces
We forgot the power from the deepest of sources
We stole from our planet and are using up all of its resources
We forgot our path and our dreams
We polluted our once purest streams
We took from earth many things we did not need
We built cars, planes and trains that pumped out poison that us and our future Generations are Expected to breathe
We have to take we cannot leave
We ditched our horses and bred them wild
But wild they are not
Their help and ability we forgot
We forgot our true purpose
We are caught in the mass trance of fabricated consensual reality
We lost sight of our authenticity
That inner spark that drives us towards our happiness and self-realization
We lost our True destiny
We forgot that we are here to be realized as spiritual beings embodied in a physical form and Embedded in a congenial universe
We forgot that everything revolves around and is love
We forgot how to love and be loved
We live on bended knees to a force that isn't seen with thy eye
That should see the truth
We cannot see without the proof
We forgot what we once stood for
We shunned it out and locked the door
We are no more
What we once was
Mankind has lost all scense of what it means to be free
Be bend down and hand away our pride and dignity
To the power that over rules our reason to exist
We are stranded and scared in a forever descending mist.

You can do it.....all you need is a pill

It is up to you and in the earth hour,
To save the energy and shut off the power,
Tick tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,
It is up to you and I to be aware,
To conserve our energy and show we care,
Ticket tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,
The trees from our forests are disappearing,
Yet we only interested in the clothes we are wearing,
Tick tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,
Entire animal species and colonies are being eliminated,
It is up to you and I to wake up and stop acting incapacitated,
Tick tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,
The dirty chemicals that we put into our air,
Can make us sick yet we don’t care,
Tick tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,
The water that we all drink is polluted,
Yet we go on day by day and stay diluted,
Tick tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,
How long will it take you and I to understand?
That we are polluting her resources and using up all her land,
Tick tock on the clock Mother Nature is waiting,
Will you do something, all that you can?
To stop polluting, recycle and understand,
If we don’t get it right,
Conserve our energy and win this fight,
Mother Nature may be crumbled
And it may be too late to correct our fumble,
Tick tock on he clock Mother Nature is waiting.
Ten-year Randi Clay
Just moved into town -
The town of Fear Street,
Where horror pulls you down.
Enormous, gigantic calendars
She sees, hung on her street
On October 10th is marked
In red - ‘The Birth of Pete.’
She makes new friends at school,
And likewise - enemies too,
Who seemed to keep on saying,
‘Beware – He’ll get you! ’
Whenever asked “Who’s Pete?”
The children turned too pale,
But at last, quite surprisingly,
They began to tell the tale:-
"There was a boy called Pete,
A normal 12 – year old,
Until one day he fell so ill,
And caught a horrid cold.
Alas! One day he died,
And was buried in his grave,
They thought it was the end of Pete,
Grumpy, dull, but brave.
But right from that very year,
Pete gets up on the tenth,
And enters into other kids,
For using up their strength.
It is now an annual tradition
Of playing Hide and Shriek -
Whoever Pete makes ‘IT’
Is the new one from that week.
Randi, the risk for you is
Too real - Heaven forbid.
You’re new to Town Fear Street -
AND PETE DOES LIKE A NEW KID."

It wasn’t very long ago Tomorrow was my friend,
Life was like a river rolling lazy ‘round the bend.
Wasting time and then I found that Time was wasting me:
Took me and it tossed me like a feather on the sea.
Following a fading star I know I’ll never find,
Like a drunken sailor never looking once behind.
Floating like a feather on an ocean full of foam:
One more dream-struck drifter whose horizons are his home.
Feather on the sea, that’s me, without You,
Jesus rescue me from the sea--take me through.
Feather on the sea.
You can be my compass with Your wisdom and Your will,
Jesus help me travel when I feel I’m standing still.
You can be my map and help me reach that far off shore:
Help me weather every storm no matter what’s in store.
Till I found You I was on an ocean of despair,
Using up my future like it really wasn’t there.
Facing every wind of fate no matter how it blew:
Feather on the sea without a friend till I found You.
Feather on the sea, that’s me, without You.
Jesus rescue me from the sea--take me through.
Feather on the sea.
