August 8 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Isaiah 49-53
Key Verse – Isaiah 49:5 And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.
HEART THAT FINDS STRENGTH IN THE LORD
Our heart finds strength in the Lord against sin-downfall
By His forgiveness of pardon’s call
Always cleansing our soul from wickedness, whether big or small
So that we can stand uprightly tall upon His mercy’s hall.
Our heart finds strength in the Lord against error-backsliding
By His holiness of graciousness’ upholding
Always propping our devotion from defilement’s degrading
So that we can forbear godly scolding.
Our heart finds strength in the Lord against guilt-pressure
By His righteousness of kindness’ measure
Always driving our faith from fears’ enclosure
So that we can pursue toward heavenly treasure.
Our heart finds strength in the Lord against distress-discouragement
By His truth of inspiration’s empowerment
Always protecting our spirit from worldliness’ enticement
So that we can seek His revival fulfillment.
Our heart finds strength in the Lord against slothfulness-unproductiveness
By His love of servanthood’s effectiveness
Always pulling our body from laziness
So that we can labour with diligent earnestness.
Our heart finds strength in the Lord against vanity-torture
By His sufficiency of satisfaction’s gesture
Always settling our emptiness from nothingness’ posture
So that we can pray upon trust-filled venture.
Our heart finds strength in the Lord against anxiety-disposition
By His joy of goodness’ provision
Always sufficing our discontentment-bouts from dissatisfaction
So that we can continue in His constant compassion.

Grace* am I, granted by God for salvation-bliss
glowing with eternal security radiance
gloriously sealing your believer’s soul as redeemed.
Grace is my identity, marked with love of the Lord
gripping every repentant sinner midst pardon’s solace
gently comforting your ransomed forgiven heart.
Grace always is what I’m called, accompanying wisdom
guiding steps of the supplicant toward victorious paths
governing your ways through the Holy Spirit’ leadership.
Grace surely reigns over my being … along Christ’s mercy
gearing dedicated service and ministerial pursuits
generously increasing your faith as you anticipate miracles.
Grace I am, exuding goodness to vanquish selfishness and pride
guarding against misery brought by guilt-caused angst
gladly bestowing your grateful praise with the Almighty’s blessings.
*Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

where does God lives
up there or within me
if there is God in the sky
why can't he hear my cry
why can't he feel my pain
is it because he has eyes but can't see
he has ears but can't hear
why do I live in constant fear
if he is a good judge
why is his world unfair
may be there is no reason
in living justly
being truthfull and living uprightly
why should he discriminate against me
why can't he save me from slavery
if he is my protector
evil men becomes richer and stronger
may be living a positive life
is my failure
who will be a good door keeper
is it God or my neighbor
if people around me
are not truthful and helpful
why won't life be
so painful and stressful

July 18 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Proverbs 16-18
Key Verse – Proverbs 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.
FAITH IN GOD WHO PREPARES OUR HEARTS
God prepares our hearts to become wise, Scripturally prudent
Midst any wickedness-dent
For us to behave uprightly as heavenly resident
By faith in His providence, making us divinely confident.
God prepares our hearts to become genuinely loving
Midst hatred along trials, proving
For us to seek always Your pardon of timely forgiving
By faith in His compassion, as to You we are cleaving.
God prepares our hearts to become righteous
Midst mischief that makes us not courteous
For us to stay in His satisfaction of blessings so plenteous
By faith in His holiness toward our gain of character-virtues.
God prepares our hearts to become glad while in Him, indeed delighted
Midst pride, greed, selfishness which are evil-directed
For us to trust His counsel and be peacefully perfected
By faith in His truth while victoriously uplifted.
God prepares our hearts to become kind and merciful
Midst cruelty along hypocrisy of the deceitful
For us to practice good works, being fruitful
By faith in His favour to make us productively bountiful.
God prepares our hearts to become obedient to His command
Midst stubbornness along demand of humanistic stand
For us to submit to Him, surrendered to what He has planned
By faith in His leadership of guiding hand.
God prepares our hearts to become worshipful, gratefully triumphant
Midst worldliness of temptations so abundant
For us to serve Him along His strength that makes us vibrant
By faith in His Word, eternally radiant toward letting us jubilant.

On the field of battle,
Young brave and strong,
We are stripling warriors,
Ready to bring it on!
We are fighting the darkness,
Piercing through with truth and light!
Charity is our standard,
Faith, courage and commitment our delight!
Captained by our King and Holy Commander,
We are guided by unconquerable right!
With flaming swords in hand,
This is the truth for which we fight!
Rising up to face the gauntlet of hell,
Yet we fear no death,
For we think upon our one true King,
And more firmly upon liberty than life!
We are true at all times,
In whatsoever things we are entrusted.
As disciples of truth and soberness,
We walk uprightly before Him.
We do not doubt,
God, will deliver us!
Our family, leaders and friends,
Have taught us to believe in Christ!
Bridge: (Said in a warrior’s voice)
With such miraculous strength,
And mighty power,
We did fall upon the enemy,
That we did frighten them exceedingly.
Oh what joy to be a warrior,
For not one soul shall be lost!
We will fight and win and never quit,
No matter what the cost!
Illumined by God thru the Scriptures’ light
Led to do the Lord’s will with the Spirit’s might
Loved so much around the Saviour’s compassion-delight
Upheld for faith-driven good works’ height
Moved toward grateful worship, joyously bright
Imparted with divine nature that is godly and right
Nourished by grace* and mercy day and night
Assured of eternal salvation’s security for heaven’s flight
Directed along holiness-walk midst spiritual fight
Attended to in prayer plight, I rejoice in the Father's presence, devoid of fright!
Accepted am I as God’s child with His certainty
Guided by His prudent authority
United to His supreme purpose of great sovereignty
Sanctified for effective witness-integrity
Taught to trust always the wisdom of the Almighty
Inspired as enabled in fulfilling steward’s duty
Nurtured with God’s provisions, I abide in His security!
Driven toward willing obedience faithfully
Ordered to share the Gospel diligently
Liberated against selfish agenda powerfully
Instructed with Bible truths constantly
Named as God’s own to live for Him triumphantly
Trained to testify about His goodness gladly
Always, I thank and praise the Lord sincerely.

My Dearest Sister Ming,
A blessed birthday to you. I love you. . I believe that this poem echoes your testimony.
3 John 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalm 32:8). Today, and when I am old, this precept assured to me by God remains steadfastly immutable. With my trust in Him, I am confident of a triumphant and blissful future. These include the wondrous enjoyment of everlasting life, the glorious worship of the Almighty Creator, the love-filled fellowship with the saints forever. Thus, when I am old, I see myself upheld by the might of my Saviour with my spiritual bio note shining with these divine attributes the Lord endowed me with: redeemed, ransomed, regenerated. Meanwhile, though my physical strength would diminish and natural beauty fade when I get old, my faith’s luster would become all the more radiant. Such truth prompts and prods me now through God’s power to pursue and persevere toward a vibrant and meaningful lifestyle that will never haunt me, and be my miserable regret when I am old.
Faith-anchored champion…
that is me when I am old
because of God’s might!
When I am old, empowered by God with His care, I stay cleaving to His grace, delighting in His mercy, and seeking for His favour. Though afflicted with infirmities and wearied by trials, I would constantly be grateful for His faithfulness, appreciative of His peace, and joyous for His answers to my prayers. Through my heavenly citizenship, I strive to become the cheerful pilgrim and obedient steward He wants me to be while leading others to His light, preaching His Gospel with compassion, and advancing His kingdom. With that, this is my plight, anchored upon Psalm 90:12, “Lord, please teach me to number my days, that I may apply my heart unto wisdom, as I work well to present myself unto You with praise, when I am old.”
God’s grace* when I’m old
works best for service-utmost…
wondrous gift to share!
*Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

O Christ Child Devine
One enchanted night came sweet Angel singing
Proclaiming peace was descending down to earth
On wings of love a baby boy was winging
Souls filled with mirth rejoiced the holy birth
The Saviour arrived to a bright new dawning
Faith and hope appeared as Mary’s boy was born
Bowed down on knees in praise that Christmas morning
Christ Child Divine, unto you our souls are sworn
O Christ, Holy Christ, O Christ Child Divine
Son of God your beacon of light gleams brightly
Beaming through our heart, spirit, soul and mind
We will serve you all we can uprightly
As did Wise Men following a star, as they’d been assigned
Kings of orient made that journey too
And shepherds who’d been on watch all night through
They all came bearing gifts as an offering
To a babe in a manger, Christ Child Devine
A babe in a manger, O Christ Child Devine.

Lord, I acknowledge Your grace* with thanksgiving
Along Your favor for my faithful cleaving
Subduing my pride and self-sufficiency’s vain striving...

Always enable me to sacrifice joyously, grateful for the blessings I’m receiving.
Lord, I regard Your grace for my salvation’s honor
Along Your assurance of service-power ardor
Challenging my doubts and shameful valor...
While upholding my faith that’s performing by Your might’s fervor.
Always encourage me to abide in Your Word midst worldliness’ clamor.
Lord, I seek Your grace midst my worshipful praise
Along Your mercy to uphold me in the Christian race
Guarding me from tempters with all the weapons of deceit they raise…
While protecting me around Your peace, devoid of anxiety’s trace.
Always empower me to rejoice in You, enclosed in Your divine embrace.
