FAITH IN GOD WHO PREPARES OUR HEARTS
July 18 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Proverbs 16-18
Key Verse – Proverbs 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.
FAITH IN GOD WHO PREPARES OUR HEARTS
God prepares our hearts to become wise, Scripturally prudent
Midst any wickedness-dent
For us to behave uprightly as heavenly resident
By faith in His providence, making us divinely confident.
God prepares our hearts to become genuinely loving
Midst hatred along trials, proving
For us to seek always Your pardon of timely forgiving
By faith in His compassion, as to You we are cleaving.
God prepares our hearts to become righteous
Midst mischief that makes us not courteous
For us to stay in His satisfaction of blessings so plenteous
By faith in His holiness toward our gain of character-virtues.
God prepares our hearts to become glad while in Him, indeed delighted
Midst pride, greed, selfishness which are evil-directed
For us to trust His counsel and be peacefully perfected
By faith in His truth while victoriously uplifted.
God prepares our hearts to become kind and merciful
Midst cruelty along hypocrisy of the deceitful
For us to practice good works, being fruitful
By faith in His favour to make us productively bountiful.
God prepares our hearts to become obedient to His command
Midst stubbornness along demand of humanistic stand
For us to submit to Him, surrendered to what He has planned
By faith in His leadership of guiding hand.
God prepares our hearts to become worshipful, gratefully triumphant
Midst worldliness of temptations so abundant
For us to serve Him along His strength that makes us vibrant
By faith in His Word, eternally radiant toward letting us jubilant.
