The Traffic At Sea

I throw my hands up in the air
And wonder what was going on over there
The ship has just dock at sea
And the coast guards were running after thee
And tugs boats were standing by
To send an urgent message to the mischievous sky
The sea crew had gathered around
To put the pieces together that had gotten burn
The ship was attacked and the petrified crew had to evacuate
but the mission arrived just in time
To rescue the divine, the damage was not great
And in seconds the ship was already on its way
The attacker was shot dead with a pillow over his head
And so the traffic at sea rolled on
And the birds are singing a merry little song
They are flying around in droves
Piloting the ship at seas as it
embark on another mystical journey
There is no drama at seas when
you have freedom and liberty
there is no drama at sea
when you up hold your dignity
they have been living on the ocean for years,
 Traveling here and there
Learning about the mysteries of the world
And making friends with great sage of the mountains
They visit some exotic town and join the party all around
They had Peru roast pig straight from the ground
And German beer coming straight from the fountain
Chinese and Japanese food was in the mix and Indian cuisine
Spice up the scene, they had some British casserole
And American barbecue ribs with onion and salad dip
the experience is sobering
so book your ticket for the next
world wind journey
They have cabin for two
and one reserve specifically for you
There is one for hot grand mothers and
Cabins for promiscuous grand fathers
And if you are a busy writer
There are cabins with a view
To create your masterpiece for the evening news
There is something to suit everyone
So book your ticket and come along
We will travel all the continents
With courage in our hands
As we travel along
The traffic at sea is thick
And the boxes are full of gifts
Reserve your tickets
And get ready to sail with me.

Sinners Lust

We all have are own individual struggles in life
& we fall in love multiple times
Our hearts get broken
& life puts us through some emotional changes
Some pain is harder than most to forget
Drama played out scenario's
not paying attention to how life unfolds
right before it explodes
stepping on concrete barefoot bleeding on the inside
can't express the feelings bottled up inside
raging out at the world from which some can't hide
lost in all the chaotic silence with loud whispers
like a promise that's formed from so many lies
and many hateful goodbyes
bound by echos that cry sounds of life's only promise that we will all die
putting caution signs up in the air slipping in life's many I don't cares
washing our hands just ain't enough
coherently living with misconstrued trust
all it was, was a sinners lust.

Premium Member Ups and Downs

There are times I don’t want to be reminded (as crazy as it sounds)
how life is always changing…how it’s a series of ups…and downs.

We’ve seen many things in life that have made us laugh…as time’s gone by…
We’ve seen many things that have made us weep…that have brought tears into our eyes.

We had just spent a beautiful day together…and…as that day came to an end…
We received the news that cancer had invaded another friend.

We’ve felt the joy of friends and family and pets who have taught us how to fly…
We have felt the sadness and the pain of when it came time to say goodbye.

I’ve been lucky in my life for whenever an up or a down has found its way to me…
my first thoughts have always landed on my friends and family.

I think of life as a roller coaster ride…and again…as crazy as it sounds…
I use to think the best I could do is hold on tight through all its ups and downs.

But I have come to realize the best way to enjoy this ride…
is to experience every up and down…with friends and family by my side.

Whether holding on for dear life…or riding with my hands up in the air…
it’s nice to look around and know my friends and family are there.

So to my friends and family…it its any consolation…
as you ride your roller coaster of life…I offer this revelation…

When the ups of life have you feeling joy
or the downs have you feeling blue…
look to your right…
or to your left…
I’ll be riding next to you.

Santas Surprise

I... thought Santa was cool,
Until he came into the house.
The old fart was pissed an swearing,
And what we saw, even killed my mouse.

He fell through the chimney,
On the embers in the fire place.
In colourful words he expressed his pain,
Which showed in his sooty red face.

He stood with his trousers round his ankles,
And his pecker pointing straight up in the air.
He slurred with the most fruitful words, I’ll never forget,
“This present is for your mother, so don’t bloody stare.”

Mama shouted in an equally explanatory tone ,
“You’ve been drinking again I see?”
She hit his tool with a wooden spoon,
And his expression was like one chewing a bee.

He fell back and landed with a thud on the floor,
Then sprung to his feet as he scream an’ bawled.
There was something dangling from his butt,
I saw its hind legs limp as he dashed out the door.

Well, I saw me Dad the next day
He looked and walked a little rough
“I told him, “No more Christmas,”
I said, “I had enough”

“It was bad enough Santa was drunk,”
“As he ran out the front door of the house.”
“But Dad I’ll never for give him,”
“For not pulling out of his butt, my suffocating little pet mouse”

Redeemed

He had tried almost everything but it was all to no avail
His heart still did not sing and often it would just wail
With his frustration at a peak, his heart at it’s wits end
A new way he had to seek if his heart was ever to mend

Throwing his hands up in the air, he decided to just pray
This heart so stripped and bare had finally found the Way
And as he cried out with a heart that was now contrite
He began losing the doubt keeping him from winning this fight

As he awoke the next day he felt a new spirit inside
Going about his way he felt a renewed sense of pride
Problems, he would still face but he took them in stride
For now he knew of God’s Grace and how for our sins He died

Now having a big smile on his face everyone began to notice
Having such a warm inner grace that you just couldn’t miss
And when people asked him why he was always quick to say
It doesn’t matter how hard you try, it’s all useless until you pray

Premium Member I 'Magin

When we were little she told these wild stories…about dragons and dinosaurs…
She said she was a princess who loved to run along the shore..

She said sometimes she flew with angels….She said angels like to hold your hands.
She said she visited castles on the tops of mountains…way off in far away lands.

And I would listen to her stories when we played together every day
and when I asked her how she did it, “I ‘magin it.” she’d say.

“It’s really very simple…If I want to float up in the air
or fly across the ocean…I ‘magin that I’m there.”

“Every time I ‘magin…I’m in for a big surprise
that’s why every time I ‘magin…I never close my eyes.”

“I want to see what kind of bird I am…on that nest in the top of the tree.
I want to see what I am wearing…as a pirate on the sea.”

“I never know when I ‘magin…what adventures will await
I want to see the color of my horse as I storm the castle gate.”

“I want to see as I sit upon my throne if my cushion is bright red.
I want to count the number of diamonds in the crown upon on my head.”

She taught me how to ‘magin with her…and I joined her on the seas
I helped her stormed the castles…together we floated on the breeze….

I helped her count her diamonds as she sat upon her throne
as we ‘magined neither one of us would ever be alone…

And though it’s been many years since I have seen her…
there are days I ‘magin back to when we were pirates on the sea…
or storming castles… or fighting dragons….
and I ‘magin…so does she.

Fireworks gloried the sky with dazzling colors
Of red, white, and blue, ushering in the new year
                       And I raised a glass...
In jubilant joy, jubilant joy, I tell ya!

Once, a few springs ago, I went for a walk
In a soothing rain and jumped
Up and down a water puddle
With jubilant, jubilant joy, I tell ya!

Last night, I looked up at the crescent moon
It was smiling at me like such a happy child
              And I spontaneously combusted
With jubilant joy, jubilant joy, I tell ya!

I've wondered into a glorious Autumn noon
Sighing with fallen leaves. I threw a handful
Up in the air, and they rained down on me
And I felt jubilant joy, jubilant joy, I tell ya!

I wrote this upbeat carpe diem poem to welcome 2019, and I thought it deserved more than an "honorable mention"

Country Storms

Stepping heavy as the burden of my heart breaks
Heartfelt, never made an effort that was half-hearted
enough to be coming at your heart in half-steps
Check my prints, my footsteps never matched them
The path I tread in , my only companion be my melodies
Like the walls of Jericho fell, fall and there falls the Pharoah
Threats of Violence don't scare me
Thye just make me very hard to deal with
Especially when the means you using be excessive
Like you obsessed with my arrest's
Interested Like all my Faith is
Dead without the works
God's the rod to my back still
Man my back hurts
the battles I lost them
look at the cost here
I'm seed that is fallow, the ground is Hallowed
Pride swallowed, I still feel and taste that sorrow
It's unlikely, it's not even like me
to be talking to mice like they're men and mighty
so i switch it up and doulble dip them
Top them like i'm talking to models
My Motto "Aqua, Contra, Quatra"
I never quench the Spirit
My Spirit serious enough to quench a series
Precise, precisely, ETA> exact time arrival
Man I'm past due i ain't even arrived yet
I couldn't defeat 'em, but I survived them
And I will>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Be the one Pitching the Team here
and if They wanna be the devil
Well I be the Devil
Serving Curve balls and Strikes down the middle
Big Brother don't feel my anger
Just feel the Power
Come on man don' you wanna share it
Cuz you be Preaching to me about being stingy
look I'm the Potter, your the vessal, you want some Honor
i don't ask for nothing, nathan
I just take you and feed you like i did the pheines then

You never know I just might be that tree man
Whispering up in a breeze in
And there boy
Up in the air with The Airforce
Like the 3rd World War
Destruction>--- Of -C-our-se
Death For-- S-ure

Premium Member Meeting Vanguard His Spirit Guide

Vanguard stood over his charge, giving him the go-ahead.
The soldier was unmoving, did he not know that he was dead?
You are alive now, Vanguard told him telepathically.
Why are my senses more real now? Asked the warrior Travish Lee.

Arise and follow, Vanguard said. I will take you to Portal three
Travish was barely aware that he was more than alive, now free.
The battle had been immense, and impactful. His body on the ground.
Travish felt self-conscious as he took a long wistful glance around.

Did the others know they were deceased? Where were their souls now?
They follow other spirit guides, angel said. He read his mind, oh wow!
Travish followed the angel to a glowing circle in the battlefield.
Right through it too, unsure of course, what this orb would yield.

He was in a land of enchantment now, a place of colors he had never seen.
Colors they do not show in the earthly world, where men can be so mean.
As he approached his soul committee, his heart leaped up in the air.
He was home! He remembered this place now; where everyone does care.

Restless Me

Night rests heavily upon my head as
daylight creeps slowly into my bed
searching for a shoulder to lean on but night kept
staring in my face lashing out at me without an embrace
The sword of time is piercing me from behind
Morning is dragging me to and fro
And I still don't know which way to go
Night comes alive and lit the promiscuous sky
Forbidden torches sprang up in the air
drawing unruly crowd far and near
Marching fearlessly through the quiet town
chanting wanton slogans all around
Traffic jam, people pushing and shoving
swirling angry words at one another
Blood runs down the narrow ally
staining the dry cracked ground
while souls are weeping underground
Bodies hang aimlessly from trees
And the clan marched vigorously down the street
with guns and sticks twisting in their hand
screaming and shouting racial slang
This rage has been welled up for years
hiding in the bushes and casting shadows
resurrecting the tyranny that has plagued the mother land
They cover their heads with white sheets and
and kneel in front of burning cross on top of the hill
America has betrayed her values
Her sons and daughters have lost their way
and indoctrinated with ideology that will soon pass away
Fear is running down their sad faces while
the group with white sheets create havoc in the streets
The Gods cannot find a place to breath
Nature is burning with heat
Black cars strolling up and down the street
Looking at the oracle on top of the hill
I am twitching and turning
And the fire is slowly burning
Morning has come and gone
And a new day is dawn
Finally I can find a quiet place to sleep.
