Meeting Vanguard His Spirit Guide
Vanguard stood over his charge, giving him the go-ahead. The soldier was unmoving, did he not know that he was dead? You are alive now, Vanguard told him telepathically. Why are my senses more real now? Asked the warrior Travish Lee. Arise and follow, Vanguard said. I will take you to Portal three Travish was barely aware that he was more than alive, now free. The battle had been immense, and impactful. His body on the ground. Travish felt self-conscious as he took a long wistful glance around. Did the others know they were deceased? Where were their souls now? They follow other spirit guides, angel said. He read his mind, oh wow! Travish followed the angel to a glowing circle in the battlefield. Right through it too, unsure of course, what this orb would yield. He was in a land of enchantment now, a place of colors he had never seen. Colors they do not show in the earthly world, where men can be so mean. As he approached his soul committee, his heart leaped up in the air. He was home! He remembered this place now; where everyone does care.
