Please do not hold me within those claws of unworthiness
As if your judgment alone DEFINES me!
Get out of here, you little baby,
You don’t recognize what’s good for you!
Push away the peas,
But you’re still going to have to eat them!!!!
Your fresh eyes glanced easily upon stupidity,
No, not stupidity—merely mistake!
An innocent, mind-begrudging mistake!
That, yes, I admittedly made. . .
This is not even a scratch on the surface—
Not even a soft powder-pat on your tiny balls
That little trip up you witnessed,
That you misconceived as smart-alecky trash,
That you automatically assumed was ME,
It was YOU
So, rest easy,
I mashed the peas for you:
My heart is pumping with what you will never know
I am bleeding along the surface of your hardened exterior
I am a silly mistake in the form of a slip of the finger—
An acquitted mistake
That I will never make again
(trust me on that one, OLIVER!)
With all the efforts of justification,
You rest your eyes with utter annoyance upon me now
For that human, that CHILD standing there,
Smiling in the light like a sunburned baby’s ass
Is nothing but a diaper-filled disruption—
A **** disturbance uncalled for
But is adequately named, the one who IGNORES
The moment I looked at you, Oliver
I was certain of a sweet heart
It was in your eyes—a trust of kindness so genuine
So attractive you were,
Full of newness—a shiny toy that remains in the box
Limited edition (emphasis on limited)—exclusive….
By Destiny’s pacifying distain,
She taught me I could be crushed of dreams
The moment I fall on my face—
That people are not always who you think they will be
That I could be utterly and undeniably wrong in the good I see
And God, you sir, are so deliberately ugly to me!!!!!!
How’s that for an ETERNAL impression?!
*Sorry guys. But I needed a raw rant off my chest. Love you guys immensely. If there’s an Oliver that reads this poem on here, I promise I am not aiming this at you babe….just had to make that clear…. XD *
No big surprise - I ain’t gonna lie
I'm still fightin' back your goodbye
Up late again - drink in my hand
Convincin' myself we're not just friends
Makin’ the best of the situation
Tippy toe'n through this tribulation
Tryin’ not trip up on the truth
But what the whole thing comes down to..is.
I'm stuck on yesterday - no I’m not ok
I'm caught up in the used to be's - the should've beens won't let me breathe
I want it back again - the way it was back when
I know you moved on - but baby I just wanna stay
Stuck on yesterday
I know it's best to just let go
But my heart keeps on holdin' on
When you had the best - then all the rest
Are just chasin' your footsteps
I'm stuck on yesterday - no I’m not ok
I'm caught up in the used to be's - the should've beens won't let me breathe
I want it back again - the way it was back when
I know you moved on - but baby I just wanna stay
Stuck on yesterday
Whoever said it's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all
Never had to look into your eyes and feel this kinda fall
I'm stuck on yesterday - no I’m not ok
I'm caught up in the used to be's - the should've beens won't let me breathe
I want it back again - the way it was back when
I know you moved on - but baby I just wanna stay
I know you moved on - but baby I just wanna stay
Stuck on yesterday
Camping on the sandy shore of the beach
Getting bored by the waves and their screech
Sitting around the camp after cooking out
It was so much fun just talking at our hangout
Soon, we noticed a couple who were fighting
Across the beach in a house we were sighting
They were making trip after trip up the stairs
We all knew this battle wasn’t one of our affairs
Still we watched from our place in our lawn chairs
Not much caring that it was darkening their tears
We watched for hours and heard their angry shouts
When we finally hit the sack it was midnight or thereabouts
While we laughed and hooted at the wife’s victory
That husband was bellowing that this was contradictory
Never would we forget that vacation with its entertainment
During our monotony on the beach this was our sustainment

A Couplet On
Innocent Blood
Written: by Miracle Man
10/29/2018
Through the innocent blood of Jesus shed on a cross,
A way was made to separate man from his dross.
Sinless, God’s only son, took the trip up Golgotha’s hill,
Saying, “Father, let this cup pass from me if it be your will”
Though His life wasn’t “taken” from Him that day,
In my mind remains a debt that I can never repay.
Many proclaim that with spikes, to the cross He was held,
I think, his love for mankind is why he was impelled.
Through this one individual act, our salvation was bought,
And today, many are giving Jesus, little or no thought.
Contrary to what the naysayers say
Happy is definitely a choice
So pay no attention to all those people
Kick up your heels and rejoice
This old world's been around forever
It's here for some time to come
Might as well be happy, enjoy your stay
Even if you fall on your bum
Now which scenario is more appealing
Singing and waking up with a smile
Or grumbling and always moping around
Time to stop acting like a child
There are no free passes in this here life
Must earn your trip up to Heaven
So jump on that happiness bandwagon
Contentment will be yours till the end

My wife and I share a passion for travelling, the world we love to see
We travelled through France and Switzerland and we're now in Italy
Day one was a trip in a cable car to the summit of Mount Baldo
The views from the top were amazing of Lake Garda down below.
Day two we visited Verona, a city of great architectural beauty
And it's where Shakespeare was inspired by Juliets famous balcony
We saw great works of art showing statues, of Roman mythology
Churches now outnumber them after their conversion to Christianity.
Day three we went on a speed boat trip on the beautiful Lake Garda
Then had a walk around the town of Sirmoine, and ate some tasty pizza
Of course the day would not be complete without tasting some gelato
Every flavour you can think of, it's ice cream in case you didn't know.
On the fourth day we went to Venice and we were pleasantly surprised
St Marks Square, Rialto Bridge, Doges Palace and The Bridge of Sighs
Lots of narrow passageways that leads to many a little square
Words alone can't convey its appeal you really have to be there.
On the fifth and last day a scenic trip up the Dolomite mountains
We saw scenic alpine images and drove through villages with fountains
Swiss style chalets dotted the hillsides that added to its great charm
Scenes of utmost tranquillity that gives you a feeling of inner calm.
Day six and its time to head back home, and we travelled through the night
Through Switzerland then Calais in France, to catch the ferry at first light
Then just two more coaches that will take us nearer to our home
My wife is looking at brochures for next year, to see where else we can roam.

Be open to love. Be open to life. You never know how amazing your life could turn out.
Romantic love can be real love. You can have it all. It just takes time, patience, love, respect and trust... Sprinkled with heaps of fun, friendship, joy and passion.
A sweet, upbeat, fun duet...

You made me smile
It was boy meets girl
But I had a life that
You completely upturned
We were complete opposites
Two strangers married by a prank
But as we got to know each other
We learned our own special dance
Sparks, sparks; fly, fly, fly
Burn twin tattoos on our hearts
Fire, fire, burns our desire
Kiss, kiss, kiss; lips seal our fate
Unsuitably perfect for me
Unsuitably perfect for you
You're my fantasy
You're my reality
You light up my world
With your love and passion
It can take time to appreciate
That the safe bet's not the answer
Sometimes what we need most
Is the offbeat characters
That inspire us with fun and magic
Joyous celebration of attraction
Sparks, sparks; fly, fly, fly
Burn twin tattoos on our hearts
Fire, fire, burns our desire
Kiss, kiss, kiss; lips seal our fate
Unsuitably perfect for me
Unsuitably perfect for you
You're my fantasy
You're my reality
We don't have to be right all the time
We can trip up and help each other through
I'll be unsuitably perfect for you
And you can be unsuitably perfect for me
We can have respect and patience
Trust and honesty
Live our best dreams together
Beautiful soulmate devotion and loyalty
Sparks, sparks; fly, fly, fly
Burn twin tattoos on our hearts
Fire, fire, burns our desire
Kiss, kiss, kiss; lips seal our fate
Unsuitably perfect for me
Unsuitably perfect for you
You're my fantasy
You're my reality
Unsuitably perfect for me
Unsuitably perfect for you
Unsuitably perfect for me
Unsuitably perfect for you

I carved the twilight of the gods into a cloud, like a magical set,
The red of the bleeding rays flows over your bare, ethereal body.
The apparent time of our recurring moments unravels,
The greedy clinking of seconds, an echo that won't shatter.
In a repeated night-day, when I trip up destiny,
I tie the hands of the clock, desperate to capture the moment in time.
Seconds and hours juggle us through endless silences,
Unlocking for us alone mysteries that cannot be lived.
The seal of dawn is a folly, eternally incalculable,
A chromatic thread traverses the morning, inexplicable.
To see my future again from the mist, my love, a vivid desire,
Your womb stirred by life, a tumult without frenzy.
In a perfect portrait, my great brain finds itself,
Quasi-infected, but with rotten ideas, spiritually, it finds its place.
I bait the worms, like a decoration in eternity,
To save the world when the gods die of longing, in an eternal poem.
The world to be saved by the last immortal, in secret,
To place a straight cross at its head, undeserved, without a garment.
Two bottles filled to the brim, of the sweetest and finest nectar,
To remember the moment when life will lead us on another path.
Calm sits a valiant man inside of a dungeon
In Darkness sits a monk inside of a Monastery
And On this night they both share the same thoughts
how long God untill I am free from here
Footsteps resound down through the hall
They Listen as the sound goes back and forth
The Valiant man awaits his execution
The monk has been put in charge of reading his last rights
Now we hear the murmur as the crowd gathers
They are laughing and joking with one another
The Valiant man smiles because he too finds his death enjoyable
It's relaxing I must agree with him
And why is the monk so scared of death
The Final bell is rung
And There dressed in black
under the black hood is the executioner
He runs his finger down the blade of his ax
He looks up here comes the Valiant man
And for the first time on the job
He is faced with fear
His composure faulters
His finger slips and droplets of blood
Fall from the fresh cut
Now there's a battle fuaght inside his mind
Because he knows
that this execution will torture him forever
Silence falls over the crowd
This proud look of this mighty warrior
Commands respect and they observe it
The Monk stumbles but he does not trip up when he speaks
My Son are you ready to make peace with your Maker
Thank you Father, but me and God have never been in opposition
The Monks says You"re what the prophets wrote about
When they wrote about Valiant men
Son forgive me I am curious
How many men did it take to capture you
He say's I don't know i killed them all
Father look around, I killed every man in the King's army
And I would of did it a long time ago
If i knew that they was going to reward me by sending me back to my Father
Let the peace of God be with you Monk
And with those words This worthy man falls to the ground
The Executioner can't bring himself to raise the ax
And this Valiant man taunts him in the face of death
Please do it! I never ask a coward for a favor
You enjoy
the time difference
don’t you?
Get to abuse the pleasure
Of rolling over
In an empty bed
Dream about brunettes
In red lace
Whispering your name
Without the guilt
Of my jealousy
Constantly pulling at your hand
Meditate your worries away
Drink coffee
Impersonating alcohol in your veins
But preach
To others
you’ve turned your life around
While living
states away
From those you love the most
And even those
You pretend
to carry such warmth for
You knew
All you had to do
Was make me blush
By spewing promises
That you would rather make
With someone else
But it got you
A place to stay
For the holidays
Suddenly thousands of miles
Away
Became close enough to touch
Yet the bed I made
For you
Remained empty
Apathetic apologies
Leaking off
Your tongue
With every
Passing
Hour
While I sat looking my best
In red lace
Watching wet mascara stain my hands
602 hours shared
Between us
Yet no ache
No yearning
No desire to hold me
At least once
You flew home
Discarding me
From your mind
Admiring
My pictures
With someone else’s face
Wishful thinking
She
Will reply to your message
Cause what is there
If there is
No chase?
I hope she never answers
Cause after twenty plus years
your bed is still at your dad’s house
It creaks
With no real
responsibility
Just the sound of
fast food wrappers, movies on full volume
And the door locking
Cause the world
doesn’t
understand you
You’ll trip up
And end up showing her
the vast dryness
The never ending emptiness
That I’ve come to know
When I looked
Into your soul
And she’ll understand too
Why you have a counterfeit
Muscular shell you show off
