Little Riding Hood
There once was a girl dressed in red,
Who wandered where wolf tracks had spread.
He grinned wide with glee,
Said, “Come closer to me…”
But Grandma hit him with a loaf of bread.

A princess slept deep in a keep,
While thorns climbed the towers so steep.
A prince tripped in mud,

I thought he was a brownie or petite elf, not there for me.
You get three wishes, he said, for being nice today.
I laughed at him, but then I looked again. He had not flown away.
He had been flitting in and out of a knothole for an hour, of course.
I had acted like I did not notice, but now here he was full force.
I thought he was a regular faerie, but now I saw his truth and hey,
He was a genie. I had never met one before today!
Three wishes, I said, that is not easy. Can you pay off my house?
Is that your wish? He asked, flicking his ride, a gray mouse.
Yes, I said. That is wish number one. And I want to be in a show.
Dressed like a drag queen, in glitzy dress, and long, thick eyelashes, you know.
Wish number three? He asked with a smile. "A fire engine please."
I have always wanted my own, if this is not merely a tease.
Within the hour, my mortgage was paid off. I was driving to town
Dressed as a drag queen, ready to usurp any poser or clown.
It was the best day I have had in my entire sixty years!
And I have a fire truck siren that brings my neighbors to tears!
I closed my eyes one afternoon
And traveled to a fantasy world
Where there lots of unicorns
I was feeling sick, one of them
Allowed me to touch him
Shock waves ran through my body
Blue, yellow, and green were the colors
Afterwards I felt powerful, invincible
I met Aladdin and saw his lamp
He allowed me to make three wishes
And they came true
I ran into some mean pixies and
They made things chaotic for me
They snatched my hair
Picked me up by my ears then
Dropped me hard on the ground
It was a mess, until the beautiful fairies appeared
And straighten them out, they gave me
Some pixie dust to keep, just in case
They returned, suddenly I was awaken
By a loud noise and realized that it
Was just a dream, until I pull the pixie
Dust from my pocket
Everybody would love to come
To this enchanting place
So much fun in the Florida sun
Where a magical kingdom awaits
You can have a truly golden adventure
The happiest time of your life
Colourful toons bringing joy
To everyone’s delight
So step into this wonderful world
Fantastic fantasy for boys and girls
Come have a dance with Cinderella
Or the sparkling beauty Belle in yellow
Have some fun with Mickey and Minnie
Play with Donald and his friend Winnie
Have a rub of Aladdin’s lamp
Careful that Genie doesn’t smoke you out
Granting three wishes only for you
In this wonderland dreams come true
Naughty Pinocchio still telling lies
But the truth is growing between his eyes
You’ve got to look out for the Seven Dwarf’s
All hiding from little Red Riding Hood
Don’t forget Snow White and Frozen
With their love for secret potions
Beautiful stories turned into animation
Written by minds with imagination
When toons are born into Disney world
Bringing laughter, fun and singing tales
You’ve got to follow that yellow brick road
And find your favourite walt disney show
Let’s cool you down at Blizzards Beach
Watch dazzling shows with technology
Have a splash at Typhoons’ Lagoon
Laughter, fun and sliding too
Eating out at our restaurants
So much excitement going on
Visit some exquisite boutiques
Stand in awe as dolphins’ leap
So welcome to this spectacular City
The heart and soul of Walt Disney
The tinsel and glitter of this town
Where children and parents play around
The most adventuress place in the world
Where cartoons cast a magic spell
So come and join the love of Disney
And take away a piece of history
They made us believe in fairy tales
In a land of make believe
They brought them to life in a colourful world
For everybody to see
Now we have childhood daydreams
Little faces full of surprise
Disney did something special
Bringing colour into everyone’s life

You can grant someone three wishes.
Anyone?
One stipulation. Anyone you do not know.
It cannot be a friend or a relative.
How does that work?
You may grant three generous wishes to three strangers.
How could I guess what they need?
That’s you prerogative.
I ponder this for a second.
Go down the street to the next block.
Gift a stranger a healthy life until she is one hundred.
She has no idea; she is only two or three.
Then I swish a gift onto a man who passes me on the sidewalk.
Because I like his smile, his mortgage is paid off.
Third wish. Not as easy. Once given away, there are no wishes left.
Can I give you a wish? I ask the faerie.
She shakes her head ‘no”. You KNOW me.We argue about it. During the argument I realize I do know her.
She is everyone I have ever argued with; but more intensely.
I grant a new car to a young couple driving up in an old beater.
Poof! They are now driving a brand new red Lincoln, and it is gorgeous!
Too bad they cannot afford the insurance or the plates the faerie says.
Too bad she cannot keep her thoughts to herself I think.
Still, I am feeling relieved I got rid of these wishes as fast as I did.
To you, I grant three wishes...FAITH, HOPE, LOVE,
to help unlock the joys you're worthy of.
So here's the deepest key of FAITH for you...
just turn, set free belief that sees you through.
Do not let painful yesterdays block out
today's new tasks of life which you're about.
So here's the brilliant key of HOPE for you...
just turn, set free your sun to shine anew.
You know, as brothers, sisters, we are one
big, human family beneath our sun.
So here's the heartfelt key of LOVE for you...
just turn, set free warm feelings, deep and true.

I just wish that Sunny California would stand and deliver more RAIN As a friend and I were driving along a busy street, I said to him,
"It's been so long that I can't remember when it rained". I was taken aback when he said to me, "May fourteenth".
That was some three months prior, but my friend remembered when it last rained because he got wet on a busy boulevard
I wish for High-Speed Trains on the American passenger rails I once traveled from West to East 2000 miles on a slow-moving train
I returned 2000 miles West on a slow-moving train. 15 years later, I tracked the same route East on a slow-moving train. I took to the
skies like a bird on my return, flying high on a fast-moving plane. I wish for MORE LOVE in the world and zero tolerance for hate.

If I were granted three wishes for the world, I'd wish first for
Truth -- an end to Lies and Deception -- Integrity at its core
Starting with each individual, in every home, on every block
In every city, every region, every country -- Truth as society's bedrock
Next I'd wish for Peace -- permanent, everlasting and real
More than just the absence of War, Peace with Truth as its seal
Peace between family members in every single home
Peace in villages, towns, metropolis' -- wherever our species may roam
Then I'd wish for Love, joyous, pure and unconditional
Love for the other as for oneself, completely non-judgmental
Love between family members in all our hovels and our homes
Love the whole world over, embedded in our genes and chromosomes

If I should discover that mysterious genie bottle by any chance,
And was granted three wishes that my existence they might enhance,
It would be very tempting to wish for fame and all the world's pelf!
But, such an opportunity would require that I look well beyond myself!
I would wish for PERMANENT PEACE in this troubled sphere.
That Freedom's Bell would peal out its joyous news for all to hear!
That tyranny would be trampled and that those who foment strife,
Would simply leave other folks in peace to pursue the abundant life!
I would wish for the elimination of all HUNGER and DISEASE,
And that pain and suffering, with heartfelt compassion could ease.
That rampant homelessness and despair would forever cease,
And that brotherhood and concern for others would increase!
I would wish for INTEGRITY in government beginning with our own.
That governments in all nations and at all levels would set the tone!
That world-leaders would heed the Prophet Isaiah's sage injunction,
To seriously reason together - perhaps the world would better function!
The likelihood of this mere mortal being faced with such a decision,
Is rather slim and an awesome responsibility that I cannot envision!
But would not one be rather remiss to skirt such an opportunity,
To better the lives of His people and the worldwide community?
