Something happens in our lives causing us to question what we know.
We open our eyes and seek the truth learning more as we go.
The more we uncover the hungrier we get for more understanding,
but the world is so full of distractions and deception.
We have a burning desire to take action and do more.
We protest injustice, corruption, politics and war.
We are labeled as hippies, angry kids, anarchists,
conspiracy theorists and terrorists.
Family and friends often reject us.
Such is the life of the activist.
We are beat by police and mocked by the news,
yet we remain steadfast to spreading the truth,
and for many, much like me,
it becomes a very lonely, solitary journey.
Being an active activist isn't for they who live their lives complacently.
True beauty, indeed (to all number-theorists),
reveals the distribution of the primes.
Beauty, too, is courage, the defiant fists
of a defender that we praise in rhymes.
Beauty are oaths, that Prince Hector all times
keeps to shield city, child, and princess bride;
or King Priam's grace for thoughtless Paris's crimes,
rather than wrath for his treach'rous regnocide.
What beauty is not, is Euclid mortified,
if Riemann's Hypothesis's not in sight,
or the Zeta function's proof verified
(for the spread of primes) gives zero insight.
But beauty is what frames your lovely face:
which even shames Helen of the Trojan race!
About 600 BC sailors went down the East African shore
A Pharoah had sent them, afraid of an oncoming war
They rounded the coast at the African horn
Astonished at what they saw that morn.
The sun arced in the north, it just couldn’t be
The earth was flat in those days, everyone did agree.
When they reached home, the crowds didn't believe
But it’s exactly the reason we know they didn't deceive
They had passed the equator, of a world that was a sphere
It shows that away from the front, we should trust what we hear.
A unit of Jewish women saw Hamas soldiers rehearse
To take hostages, blow up fences, they reported chapter and verse
But their superiors didn’t believe them, told them to be silent
The result of this skepticism was incredibly violent
On the seventh day, seventeen of them were killed
Hamas filmed on their go-pros, so much blood spilled
To Hamas liberation, but I shake my heads at that day
Israeli dogma near the top meant quite a price to pay.
Pilots warned of safety concerns at a D.C airport for many years
Near misses with helicopters was the source of their fears
One captain said he could not imagine what kind of designer
Could let helicopters cross the paths of a crowded airliner.
Then a helicopter collided with American airlines 5342
67 died, figure skaters, coaches and an engineer too
Friends who had gone duck hunting in Kansas, didn’t think they would die
Because of an avoidable burst of flame in the sky.
Our hierarchy should be inverted, the hands-on types know more:
the people at the scene, the sailors by the shore
From cockpits and borders to decks on the sea
The front line sees first what the future will be
The theorists in their armchairs, the truth they must seek
We need to bypass them, link the base to the peak.
"I believe through any trial
there is always a way"
Such profound belief
in powers of love
is hard for my hands
to honestly sing
and not shyly wave away
With integrity of my final
truthful say
But, still
I do silently believe
as polyvagal Health Theorists
systematically play
Through any win/lose
or lose/lose trauma trial
we always do our best
in a more resonant
win/win therapeutic
co-arising way
To both sing and standing dance
our most resiliently harmonic day
To withstand a more resistant
wounded child's lack of nurtured
healthy nature spirited way
to robustly pray
In this
our cooperative
co-invested circle
of soulful gospel
sacred spacetime stay
I believe through alarming
Othering trauma
of disabling marginalization,
criminalization,
commodification,
AnthroSupremacist colonization
Nonviolent multicultural compassion
is always our healthiest
act of win/win co-invested action
loving our wealthiest resonation
Drumming indigenously wise
thrumming interdependent nations
restoring our humming
resilient
EarthJustice folkway.
We all progress around our day-to-day liabilities.
We were passing each other, raising other's obscenities.
Who has the grant to be in high-quality activities?
There's a tidal wave of dust, nettles, weed, and din all around.
Health is something to be taken care of and be delivered.
Would need a lot of seriousness to cope with the downside.
I care to be close to people, so I can cast them support.
People who are often hidden and sit in a shady court.
People who have confusion around their kids in heirloom sort.
People just being normal, not trying to have it covered.
People are giving it their all in the effort to succeed.
People who live in ethics, and grow their harmony, not greed
We've also had to learn lessons from our life's championship.
We can't learn expertise; we can't comprehend what's the percept.
When you are with clever people, it is all around the limp.
Even if I'm total and utter cheat, I could mate the truth.
Members of both parties are authorized into the white couch.
I'd welcome everyone, such as smart theorists and even dogfish.
I may not be well-known among those who flounder to improve.
They may guess I'm weird too, or at the very worst inventive.
I will not be upset about votes, or they are deceptive.
Control isn't my objective because I'm not an official.
I care to confer a whopping peaceful nation with free people.
Praise lyric for the day, praise lyric for the fight survival.
Excessive to say, how many people were killed this moment?
Chant the names of those that have sadly died and led to Clements.
Who established the railroad tracks and the marine components.

To take the vaccine
That is the decision
People must make
On Covid nineteen
A choice to decide
by the close of day
I have just reached that crossroads
knowing that the conspiracy theorists
warn people not to have it. Some deny
the existence of Covid, and claim it is no
worse than just a common cold, but I have
decided I'll receive
the first inoculation
It's an easy decision
A no-brainer for me
Although inoculated
sadly my poor Mum
has caught the virus
I can't visit with her
It's so heartbreaking
because she lives in
a facility that I can't
visit as long as there
is a quarantine edict

In the shadow of a wilted evening, where busy spiders spin their fragile thoughts,
Lacking the substance for a solid tome, losing tenure and academic appointments,
They fill their purses by spreading confusion among the naive minnows,
Seeing nothing but their own grimacing faces in a delirium of mirrors.
Most of all, I doubt the rare and sincere ones,
Masters of the pale moon, with eyes like wells of light,
What do they say in their faint whispers that fade into the distance?
What secrets do they hide in their delicate and ephemeral webs of thought?
Listen, my beloved son: I have labored all my life like a draft horse,
This house and measure of savings will cushion your future;
But if ever I see you moon-struck with the desire to write a treatise
On "Whither This?" or "The Future of Something," I swear I will leave my estate
To the Society for Simplified Spelling or some such folly.
Dear child, embrace wine, hunting, gaming—
Not theorists, not dialecticians!
In a night of dreams and unfulfilled desires, where thoughts stretch like spider webs,
I remember your words, father, and your wise counsel,
For this world is full of illusions and broken mirrors,
And the truth is often lost in the whispers of those who gaze only at the stars.
In a melancholy dance of shadows and pale lights,
I find my place and purpose, to question, to seek, to understand,
To write my own choreography, in the endless spectacle,
Ever-changing, of life and reality, a sacred dance of existence.
Once upon eternal time,
all philosophers
and theologians
and ecologists,
published and unpublished,
credentialed and indigenous,
elders and children
and all ages in-between,
alive and dead
and all health indicators in-between,
got together
to sort out our competitive win/lose mess
of competing theories
about just what is this elephant
star of our BigTent historic stage.
Some,
especially straight men of color,
but many others as well,
argued the head of this fascist elephant
is racism.
Others,
especially straight white women,
and their feminist allies,
argued the head of this pathological creature
is patriarchalism.
Others,
especially LGBTQ wo/men,
and their straight allies,
were sure this fascist elephant head
is homophobic sexism.
Others,
especially positive psychologists
and communication system theorists,
encouraged more resonant dialogue
about how this fascist elephant
is led by either/or deductive
reductive left-brain cultural dominance.
Others,
especially social psychologists,
whole system thinkers,
eco-political pathologists,
permaculture ZeroZone restorative healers,
advocates for restorative justice for global peace,
cooperative economic ecologists,
WholeEarth systemic theologians
advocated multicultural co-mentoring
non-violent communication
to better see and hear
heal and not punish,
feel and think
with full mindbody intelligence
about how this fascist elephant
of Western hemisphere dominant capitalism
win/lose favors egocentric monoculturalism
elitism
narcissism
ethnocentrism
anthropocentrism
through metaphoric polypaths
dreaming
streaming
scheming all of the above.
Truth drowns in pixels, one click at a time
While falsehoods spread faster than summer wildfire
We scroll and we swipe, consuming the lies
Each share button pressed makes deception rise higher
They dress it in headlines that scream to be read
Package poison in posts that are perfectly spread
Algorithm-approved, bot-amplified.
Until, fiction feels realer than what's verified
"Did you hear?" they whisper, through fiber optic veins
"They're hiding the truth!" – paranoia reigns
Conspiracy theorists spin tales in the night
While fact-checkers chase them with diminishing light
We're all guilty here, in this game that we play.
Forwarding fragments without checking the way
It's easier to believe what confirms what we know
Than to question the sources of info we show
In this echo chamber, we're losing our way.
Where deep-fakes dance and truth starts to sway
Each viral story builds walls in our minds
Until we can't see past the lies we're behind
But listen;
There's power in pausing before we proceed
In asking "Who profits from making me believe?"
In remembering wisdom isn't found in a feed
And truth isn't measured by how fast we speed
So let's break these chains of digital deceit
Face uncomfortable facts, make knowledge complete
'Cause the real revolution isn't sharing the lie
But standing in truth when the world asks us "Why?"
Now tell me –
What stories are you letting define your sight?
What whispers of falsehood keep you up at night?
The truth may be harder, but it sets us free
From the beautiful prison of what we wish could be
Before mass leaders seize the power to fit reality to their lies, their propaganda is marked by its extreme contempt for facts as such, for in their opinion fact depends entirely on the power of man who can fabricate it.~
Hannah Arendt,* The Origins of Totalitarianism
When a majority of the populace
Believes the propaganda
Of the ruling elite
And refuses to believe the truth
Even though they can see it
With their own eyes
And hear it
With their own ears
They have reached
Herd Immunity!
Hannah Arendt, 1906-1975, was a political philosopher, author, and Holocaust survivor. Her contributions continue to influence political theorists today.
