Premium Member Nestling Upon the Snow

Nestling upon the snow, puss peeks over the soft
dusty snow, as sparkling snowflake spiral and fall
upon her long fur sending her spirits aloft.

She has the most expressive face and yet so small,
her bright emerald eyes look up while the wind whipped
dusty snow, as sparkling snowflake spiral and fall.

Puss white downy fur was hard to see as she dipped
a labyrinth path around the powdery fluff,
her bright emerald eyes look up while the wind whipped.

Puss breasted the numbing air with breath of white puffs.
Wind swooshes through with an intent chill as it jests
a labyrinth path around the powdery fluff.

Thrilled of first falling snow she frolics in more quests.
Trailing behind a thread of white from bush and tree
wind swooshes through with an intent chill as it jests.

Puss dashes out to the backyard so she may see.
Nestling upon the snow, puss peeks over the soft
trailing behind a thread of white from bush and tree
upon her long fur sending her spirits aloft.

What is this thing called Life?
This fragile forging of flesh and spirit
A mocking of existence
A dream like world of nightmarish hell
That can evaporate into a kiss of another soul
Dissolving the fear of mortal mass
Into an ecstasy of vulnerable pleasure
The essence of rapture of love of lust of life

Is it God's gift or nature's mistake?
Born helpless
Live dependent
Die weak and pitiful

Does the wind laugh at its wretched subject?
Licking our faces with mocking joy of ridicule
Is it swooshes by lapping the earth
With its seasons-Bellowing them onto unprotected bodies
From huddling in caves
To freezing in slums
It has seen it all and changed it less

Life has no pity, Sees no sorrow
A constant fight for survival
A chance to live tomorrow
But Life be it unforgiving or unbearable
Grant's its mercy in Death
Suddenly in youth, lingering in the aged
Gracefully the empty sack of blood and bones
Feeds the worms and beetles
Of the earth it evolved from

What is Life but Death?
And what is Death but Life?
To be born is to die
And to die is to be born
The beauty of Life is it is fragile
An existence of but a breath away
A spirit of a beating heart
A soul of a living brain
Is Death not the beauty of Life?
The great equalizer of human kind
To feel no more its' pain
To escape its' sorrow
To outwit its' shame
To live is all you have
To die is all you get
Life is all you got

Premium Member The Bolts of Balthakk

Like many heroes of mysterious Marvel Comics,
Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange is a bolt of magic mix;
Spells of supernatural kinds he works, abundantly,
Crimsons, crystals, ice, rings, chains - in constant redundancy...!

Pile of pure pulverization and annihilation,
The Bolts of Balthakk has become eternal damnation;
On any stuff - solid or liquid - the bolt does explode,
Like iron-oxidation, all powers it does corrode...!

Bounds, rebounds, rings, winks, blows, boomerangs at its master's hands,
Swishes, swooshes; whizzes, whooshes like winds in desert sands;
None in heaven or hell could ever its gravity hold,
Like swift, sly electric current it does its force unfold...!

Is it terrible torch of fire? Or lake of lava?
Is it hydro-nitrogen bomb resembling baklava?
From hands of Doctor Strange, like gold dust they serenely fly,
Clapping, crashing, flashing, dazzling, booming, zooming they spry...!

Doctor Strange manipulates these bolts like liquid plasma,
For him, a magic-surgeon, it's mere mental miasma;
An awesome third eye adorns the forehead of Doctor Strange,
For mesmerized kids, these are, delightful amusement-range...!

Caged magnetic daydreams of lucid migration;

I’ve been there before. It’s forbidden:

Orchard carved calligraphy crisply cut -
Spiraled surface-scratched immortality
Dimly azure, aglow on videotape,
Red, blue, green. Nature’s baby grand.
An organic player-piano ceaseless
In mellow tone, perched potpourri hillside,
Plucking raspberry notes of beautiful song;
Translucent aches nestled by slippy wake
That ricochet ripples, careening whispers
Through rendezvous dreams.
Seductive susurrus, sentient, shadowy,
Teasing temptation longed to taste;
Siren’s breathiness gurgles in devilish dive,
Swooshes, swoops, swallows. Tickles.
Siren’s breathless gurgle chokes drowned lies.

But…so serene. Feather soft tranquility.

Lyrical folly forbidden. Salmon pink.

Told as a pet parakeet (while his owner listens to Radiohead’s song Videotape) whose cage is hung in the window of a cottage overlooking a stream through an orchard while the sun goes down who was a fish in a past life but, sadly, drowned due to a mental disorder which caused him to believe he was a bird and, consequently, spend all day trying to fly out of the water…until the day he refused to use his gills to breathe since, after all, birds don’t have gills.

Above the firmament, crossing over the rainbow
Riding on those clouds, an endless trail of loving you
I am a freed butterfly in frenzy from a red cocoon
I’ll taste your kisses, so sweet like flowers in bloom

When I hold your hand, you tightly hold mine
I knew from the start, our hearts will entwine
Your passionate embrace makes it all divine
I’m besotted with you, our heartbeats go in rhyme

I love you with all my heart Mi Amor, my love
Our betrothal is a song swooshes into a pair of doves
Te amo con todo mi corazon, God knows from Above
I love you with all my heart, Mi Amor, my love
A Valentines treat for you, you’re in my station, Station in Love

Premium Member Turning Up Her Imagination

keep the music sorrowfully low,
so big daddy doesn’t hear.
the shadowy figures, surrender
and whisper in your ear.

the psychedelic colors flow
like the sea foam beat.
Angie, your chromatic hair
smells incandescently sweet.

locked and loaded, alone
with your beastie dreams.
your pillow’s soft and it leans -
your coming apart “at the seams”

one boy plays peek-a-boo, sniffing
your honeysuckles suspended.
tickled by your goldilock curls,
not realizing all it portended.

like walking into the deep dark wood,
he creeps hand and foot, eyes first
like a prowling tiger, tail wagging,
with a rattling tongue a-thirst.

Angie, swooshes her fingers
through his hair, hushes him.
...he stares at the ceiling stars
...loud music descends on his limbs.

Angie digs her embryonic duffel bag,
smiles and adds his decomposing bones
to the ashes of her huge imagination
and recalls that in this world, she’s all alone.

Premium Member Sly Fox: the Destroyer

--------xxxxooxxxxx--------

smashing! there she goes swaying her strut in red stilettos
with a lady gaga ’do, vamp gear and rockin’ diva blues…
"hottie P.D." that’s what she’s called.. ready to prance at
her latest night call, another gig for chilling a dish
at the flaming la vida loca bar: strictly for exclusive members
only, she ain’t on the list… hmmm,
sly fox down to two altoids and twenty bucks in her leased
armani tote. you guessed it right! she bats her long lashes
at the bomber’s gate; swooshes past the queue
using victoria’s secret model’s gait… what a RAAWWR!
surveying the lair, the sly destroyer skips no beat---
there’s her catch, a dumb-- looking frog, a sort of
prince dude. time for the bait, ready to down tons of martini,
tequila, whatever she won’t regret... ooh my, the vixen
slants a tyra pose caressing her mane smoothie smooth.
dumb frog approaches his " prey"--- that’s what’s lurking
on dude’s snail brain…” foxy lady, you beat the tar out of me!”.
PD coos,“ big boy, you better show me punk cuz i settle
for nothin’ less than a big score.”

flashing his platinum card on the deck, sly fox rattles off drinks
on top of the heap. whoa, a little bit of sweet talking and fast touching,
sly destroyer goes for the kill..“ an uptown throb you are,
smokin’ hon-- you care to bring your babe home in your
limo ,bimbo?” and frog croaks, “ wait babe, will bring it on!”
with another long wink, her last crime…hahaha, from PD’s
devilish voodoo blink, all she needed was a fancy hitch big time home.
sly destroyer whams it again! but wait.. frog is gone for friggin
30 minutes… turns out, the platinum card expired and stolen. drat!…
who’s the sly destroyer.. and who’s the flaky loser?

( just for fun!)

There’s a quiet in watching myself sleep
Like a buzz , a drone of calm abandon
Gently passing this fluid ocean , deep
Past reeds and tall grasses that slither on
To unknown whispering or gushing tide--
A current, steady as unconscious sigh
Rivering through the swooshes of my glide,
To bring rest from a wired day..I slip by.

Across glittering shorelines in moon’s flow;
My breaths bid me closer in an embrace
While I lie here in your summer, aglow
As whispers talk in lapses about grace.
Till after midnight, we both cuddle peace
For the drawl of evening pulls me, astir
Where in your arms- soft murmurs-- find release
Through a space between awareness and blur.

Premium Member Images Reflected

You can't trust them
Tangle in the spider webs mind
You see reflection of your outer soul
It shows the wages of time
In every line on once so smooth a surface
You smile
Creams, powders, stretching, the knife
Once youth escapes it can not be recaptured
Only remembered
In old photographs, home movies

                                                       Images Reflected

A moment capture
Frozen
Before
Since
Once
Vanity is pride in denial
No you can't trust them
Mirrors never speak the truth but they show it
Love yourself old and your heart stays young
A breath of reality swooshes the spider webs clear
You can trust them
Life is good
You smile.
