July 17 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Proverbs 16-18
Key Verse – Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR ESTABLISHING US
Praise be to God for establishing us
while we commit our works unto Him:
Delighting in His Word of distinct worth
Desiring His wants by His driving warnings
Deciding by His wisdom against deceitful world
Doing His will along His dependable watchfulness
Declaring His ways midst His deliverance so wondrous
Proverbs 17:3 Praise be to the Lord for
trying our hearts midst our:
Sacrifices, strengthening our faith
Sorrows, settling us upon His fortress
Stresses, supplying us His serenity-fortitude
Sufferings, securing us though we can’t fathom
Supplications, supporting us by His faithfulness-fervency
Proverbs 18:9 Praise be to the Saviour for
His name that is a strong tower:
Preserving our purity
Protecting us with His peacefulness
Propelling our praise-poised participation
Propping our prayerfulness through His power
Perfecting our personhood against perversion-pain. Amen!

My heart* is a secret orchard
welcoming the entrance of the divine Gardener
Whose tending grace cheers flowers of prayer delight
as He hears supplications that faith-filled white roses shout
along the plight of chrysanthemums and daisies for nourishment-radiance.
In my heart's garden thrive vines that strive to reach the top
vibrantly inviting sovereign sun-rays for illumination-triumph
with wise enlightenment for counsel against towering arrogance
while lingering in the warm presence of the Creator Who inspires
always checking selfish motives and directing victory toward His exaltation.
Opening my heart's blessed garden
is the perfect Tiller, supplying it constantly
with goodness-buds midst serenity blossoms
against attacking pests of dearth and weeds of fruitlessness
replenishing with blessing toward abundant harvests to share His love and kindness.
*Psalm 44:21 Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

Written 17 September 2026 from the bed
of a private clinic while under treatment.

Oh my Lord, so far away in the sky,
Yet immersed close in my heart and my eye,
I yearn to kiss the dust from your pink feet,
A petal from your lotus shrine to greet.
I long for a drop of milk of your grace
And each one of your footprint to embrace,
Sweep the soil ahead of the path you tread
Blow off from me all particles of dread.
Oh Lord, my humble prayer at your shrine
Is to assuage my sharp pains over time,
Let them silently fade in the cool air
Under the luminous glow of your care.
I submit myself to your divine will
To elevate me from the earthly chill,
Relieve my acute suffering and strains
And deliver me from the cyclic chains.
I thirst to bathe in your ocean of love,
Relish from your flute, sweet tunes of the dove,
Reap but one gleam of your sparkling beauty,
Sip just one glow of your eternity.
At day`s end, I crave to merge with your Whole,
Lost eternally in the Supreme Soul,
Serve you with all my heart through time and space,
Taste but one drop of nectar of your grace.
May just one drip from your lake of kindness
Fill my breast with your perfume of sweetness,
That pervades the entity of your shrine
And infuse the universe with your shine.
My earnest prayers for a humble lee,
My supplications and my sincere plea
To lie awhile in shade of Vrindavan,
To wash your pink heels, my Madhusudan,
This Vrindavan, the seedbed of your youth,
Divine realm of Radharani, in truth,
Where the Yamuna flows with silver grace
And carves an eternal heavenly space.
Among varied ministry writing tasks
in prayer updates is where my soul basks.
God’s grace at work I wondrously behold
as answers to supplications are told.
The Lord constantly supplies every need
with redemption and revival indeed.
Healing for sick brethren makes heart rejoice
along fast recovery midst faith poise.
Family concerns seeking radiant hope
are secured with wisdom so as to cope.
Timely provisions show Saviour knows best
granting perfectly each urgent request.
Aware of these truths, list I check with zeal
including those “safe pregnancy” appeal.
There are names under special plea section
asking help for divine intervention.
Bound for prayer gratitude and praise time
I received note of testimonial chime.
“Thanks*; good news… please have my name deleted
my boy's now five months old; I’m delighted.”

In fighting the good fight of faith by Your sovereignty.
Thank You for charging me to be rich in good works with joyfulness
Following after godliness along Your virtuous holiness
Fleeing from perversion’s filthiness
In laying hold on eternal life by Your graciousness.
Thank You for charging me to be rich in good works with satisfaction
Following after faith along Your mighty fortification

Pause for the Source to whom you pray

Back to square one
You've summoned successions of supplications
Isn't one enough fueling your needs? When
Whirl of stardust corporate, and
Past and present reflections says the future is now
Just trod softly, patiently my friend
The start of any work of art begins with thought
Look, listen. Hold words fueling no harm
But warm your heart and mind
Read any good book
Our inner lamp glows brighter
And our burden light
Yes, you have a plan
Another challenging one
Think transparency
Pay keen attention
As you move along life's net
Help is on the way.

The Lord be thanked for our revival* by His compassion of loving kindness
Indeed forgiving our confessed iniquities as well as our sinfulness
Since He sanctifies us to walk along paths of righteousness
And guards us from human nature’s tempting weakness.
The Lord ensures our revival for us to stay strong in His triumphant might
Indeed smiting our vain arrogance to yield to His sovereignty’s height
Since He reproves our disobedience so we strive to do what’s right
And upholds us in walking by faith along His light.
The Lord listens to our pleas for revival, making us truly Spirit-filled
Indeed hearing our supplications that causes us to be soul-stilled
Since He deals with us, correcting our being self-willed
And teaches us to submit to Him, blessedly-thrilled.
The Lord grants revival toward zealous kingdom advancement
Indeed working in our spirituality by His empowerment
Since He saved us from hell’s grievous endangerment
And granted us life eternal with grace-endowment.
The Lord enables our revival toward sharing Gospel story
Indeed reminding us to love whom He loves for His great glory
Since He leads us through His Word toward sure victory
And moves us to abide in His will’s perfect territory.
The Lord propels our revival to fulfill the Great Commission without delay
Indeed helping us bring the lost to the Saviour - the truth, life, and way
Since He wants us to become enthusiastic soulwinners as we do pray
And keeps us involved in church ministries while in His will we stay.
The Lord sustains our revival-joy by His constant admonition and instruction
Indeed perfecting us toward Christlikeness along character-transformation
Since He delights in our glad worship midst faithful stewardship-function
And cheers us in our good works’ perseverance for His exaltation.
*Isaiah 57:15 For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

(THIS IS THE SECOND POEM DEDICATED TO THE US PRESIDENT IN HIS QUEST FOR A SECOND TERM)
Bit and bit together become whole,
And coin and coin fills the treasure.
Right and wrong never agree;
And little and little satisfies the measure!
Careless mischief is a dangerous thing.
Kenyans do cheerfully sing!
Here is advice for Barack Hussein Obama,
Unbeatable true son of the soil.
Sure and unbending must be your strategy;
See clearly there no chances to spoil!
Earnest and apt must be your plans,
Indefatigable must be your spirit:
Never lacking zeal, and dreaming deeds full of merit!
Our prayers we do say day and night,
By our firesides were rant our supplications,
And plead that you take courage in this fight.
May yours be a full and overflowing cup,
And may the Kenyan flag be always up!
Mists show vaporous idiosyncrasies
emotionless crying
over the essence of the dull sky,
same as a gentle walking unsophisticated steed
embrace a forceful nature,
delicate yet totally vulnerable
With the onset of twilight
the impiety appeared to be oddly astounding,
there was no witless snarl
and it's a smooth tone,
predawn conceals
quell the loco share of color moods,
Starlings rewind their impeccable wings,
early mooring paths for a sailboat
through wildly shifting flights,
a measurement for rating sight
for slowed down dreamers
When it got dull
fall into the stream
In a swarm of happy tones,
utterance grows softer and deeper
Grin impersonates amazing harmony
marks the epilog of a tranquil day
the gleam of the evening,
woven into an unending blanket
Inward supplications
go to close justifications
as the embedded kiss creates
everlasting recognition,
apex moans calmed the room
for a couple of moments,
underneath a shelter of trapped gems

Setting our lives in order

Securing our love in His optimization
Shielding our longings from oppression
Smiting our losses with opportunities’ offers
Isaiah 40:31 Praise be to the Saviour for helping us
to wait upon Him as He:
Responds to our supplications
Rejuvenates our spirituality
Replenishes our supplies
Renews our strength
Revives our souls
Isaiah 41:7 Praise be to the Creator
for holding our right hand:
Fortifying our faith by His force
Fixing our future upon His foundation
Flaming our fellowship around His friendship
Furnishing our faithfulness with His fruitfulness
Furthering our fulfillment in fighting our failures. Amen!
