To be soothed

Clearly stating that a marriage is for financial gain rather than love removes any ambiguity regarding the relationship's foundation. While this upfront honesty prevents mixed signals, such unions often lack emotional intimacy and long-term fulfillment
Understanding Musical Texture: Types, Density and More ...Music density describes how much sound is packed into a space or time. It is a tool to measure musical elements like notes, layers, volume, and instruments.
Marrying for love is a highly personal decision. While a shared emotional connection brings profound joy and mutual understanding, a successful marriage also requires shared values, practical teamwork, and mutual respect
Being blunt means you say exactly what you think without trying to be polite. When someone has a lack of tact, they cannot say the right thing at the right time. Because they do not sugarcoat their words, their message can sound mean or hurtful
called arias are solo pieces where characters express deep feelings, such as love, fear, or joy. These songs have specific musical styles and emotional goals.

Premium Member Be Honest

If I proclaim to love the Lord
but hate my fellowman,
the Bible says I'm lying. Love,
not hate, is in His plan.

Bad attitudes towards others
if they're fueled day and night,
soon morph into destructive hate,
a vitriolic blight.

Though love can be so powerful,
hate can be just as strong.
We don't like to admit sometimes
our feelings are so wrong.

We choose to sugarcoat the truth
when hate is in our hearts.
We cling to euphemisms
while we throw our poison darts.

Sometimes we're hypocritical,
refusing to confess
to sins like hate; yet we still think
the Lord will surely bless!

Those motivated by ill will
will never know true peace.
They'll moan throughout a friendless life
and find no sweet release.

Some Tricksters

It's amazing how I resist change,
not all whispered promises are sublime;
they can make somebody cringe;
it's that poet who struggles for a rhyme.

Tricksters have a word for everyting
to cover up their embarrassing schemes;
I keep away from fakers who sugaroat dreams
with believable words that hide cheating.

Making me guess is the strangest suspense,
it's a selfish way to love yourself
and not care for anyone else;
shouldn't you hold me and love me to death?

Some tricksters have a word for everything
to over up their embarrassing schemes;
I keep away from fakers who sugarcoat dreams
with believable words that hide cheating.

I've been down the road of pretentiousness,
I expected  but I got kicked in the ass;
that's how tricksters get what they want,
in the long run, they fail and remain defiant.

Fairy tales were written to make one dream,
did reality reveal their meaning with pretentious theme?
I read them with boyish curiosity, they brought a gleam,
not enough to make me jump up and scream.

The Freedom To Choose

Everybody has the freedom to choose,
don't stop living because of your choice;
nobody can sway you from words of persuasion,
come what may: you'll withstand any intrusion!

No, without the freedom of choice
one is forces to obey the set rules,
then disappointment will amount to woes:
be determined, shake all souls in demise!

They'll try to sugarcoat their despicable lies quickly,
don't agree to anything that's sound too unrealistic;
we all have the freedom of choice: be realistic
and push forward, don't be deceived by money!

No, without the freedom of choice is anarchy,
wrap your knuckle head around this harsh reality;
don't take down your flag: it stands for equality:
be proud of who you are, don't fall for fallacy!

Ubereats Beats

Been at the Uber game since 2019.
Got in the booming gig work scene.
Needed a part time job outside retail.
Something allowing me to write my tale.

Giving me the chance to pick my hours.
And walk away if the situation sours.
At first there were hardly any jobs.
Doordash passed me all the lobs.

They were quick absorbing restaurants.
Feeding new needs of the eaters wants.
They grew while Uber was preoccupied.
Rideshare was #1 with delivery on the side.

When COVID hit it changed the game.
Restaurants could not remain the same.
Delivery was how they would stay afloat.
The industry hurt, it’d be a lie to sugarcoat.

So while working 9 to 5, it was my cushion.
After hours I could keep my grind pushin.
When I lost a job I kept on earning dough.
Even though on my resume it won’t show.

But I chose my jobs based on what they pay.
Customers and restaurants like what I say.
Being efficient with the tasks and routes.
To limit the delays and Karen’s pouts.

Whether its a handoff or meet at door.
I never really know what’s in store.
Usually it’s smooth business and all’s good.
But things don’t always go as they should.

Items can be left out and overlooked.
The order can alter how it was booked.
Food can easily be under or over cooked.
Spills happen when items get overshooked.

But if you crack a joke or mediate.
The stress will usually dissipate.
Customers appreciate the golden rule.
So I keep their ice cream very cool.

Gotta ask for parm when they get pizza.
I need it for mine, don’t know about cha.
Gotta keep the hot food toasty in bags.
Love when orders come with printed tags.

Screenshot when funny takes place.
To share with others puts laughs on face.
The stuff that happens seems unreal.
But humor helps with tips, ya feel?

Gotta be choosy deciding which jobs to take.
To optimize how much cash I can make.
Typically I can work a solid 11 hour day.
Averaging out a respectable hourly pay.

Racking over a hundred miles in a shift.
Sadly expecting an eventual lease rift.
To offset the miles, the IRS reimburses.
At 55 cents a mile, noted in these verses.

Politics
Politicians
Definition: (Webster’s dictionary)
To deceive, dismay, confuse or blind
How perfect !
Simply put
Misplaced faith by the masses
But truly not our fault
Just a little slow that’s all
When you’ve been lied to from the beginning
What else do you have to compare it to ?
But lets look at it for what it really is
******** !!!
Who can sling it and sugarcoat it the best
Wins my vote
The lesser of two evils I suppose
It almost seems like a talent show
Who can dazzle, dance, and defy the one thing we really want
TRUTH !!!
Very simple, effective, and enlightening
Though a scary concept I admit
But definitely something new
But then again………..
Would they believe you ??
If they did tell the truth
How would we know ??
Think about it

Premium Member Laid To Waste

Lonely hearts fall victim to deceit
and flattering lies designed to please.
Sincerity is a delusion,
while forever dreams are but a tease.

Doubt stirs up currents of disbelief:
cutting trust adrift in unsafe realms.
And the wailing of a naive heart;
mimics the wind, crying in the elms.

The young sugarcoat reality:
trying to dilute its bitter taste.
But, when happiness seeks compromise;
youth's illusions are soon laid to waste.

You are tired of feeling incomplete,
as yesterday's rewind and replay.
And anxieties begin to rise;
facing feelings you once hid away.

Searching memories for crumbs of truth,
you've lost love at some point in the past.
Yet, in time, your fantasies reshape
as heartaches slip away: at last.

Premium Member In These Times

In these times

In these times, some people favor the belief that everything is fine.
But we must not sugarcoat the truth or trade chips for lies to feel better.
In these times we have seen our American Flag stomped upon.
We have seen our Constitution be thwarted with attempts to change it.
We have seen our laws be disregarded as if they don’t exist.
We have seen our cities burn with violence not stopped, but watched.
We have seen our law enforcement disempowered and officers killed.
We have seen criminals released who should be finishing due sentences.

In these times, Americans are killed and division is fueled each and every day.
The voices of law abiding citizens has become more silent as fear grows.
A sense of powerlessness taking over the nation as corruption roars ahead.
This fear of being labeled or attacked is turning into a place of tyranny.
Today, people feel it is not the land of the ‘free’ and ‘brave’ anymore.
But, it can be!

In these times it is a choice to unite with a common goal of liberty.
To be brave together and not afraid of what may happen tomorrow.
If we are exercising our rights lawfully, we are behaving as true Americans.
We must not let our opposing views fester with a mindset of revenge.
It is not bloodshed in our streets that we want to see evolve from division.
We must not give up without knowing what our presence of millions can do.
Showing our faces, holding our flags, speaking our minds in celebration.
Celebration you ask?

Yes. Celebration for breaking the silence that has gripped this Nation.
Celebration for our freedom fought for by every brave soldier.
Celebration for our ‘survival’ of transformation that is forced upon us.
Just when some thought we were beaten, pushed to a point of no return.
We choose to stand with dignity, fight through every doubt and not fall.
Celebration beyond these perilous times… for unity, peace and justice for all.

Bronze Diamond

Graze in your own maze, girl

You can’t sugarcoat lies

I have seen you in a gaze swirl

Wrapped up in lullabies

Honey, what goes around, goes back 'round

Heard your heart beating, wantin' to be found

You will always be my gem

My bronze diamond too

You will always be my rock

My bronze diamond that is made from up above

You will always be like them

Who knew? Who knew?

My heart needs another lock

Where are the keys to your rather genuine love?

Your heart's a priceless, bronze diamond

You’re my bronze diamond

My bronze diamond

Please don’t tear apart our valuable bond

You’re my bronze diamond

My bronze diamond

My dear, graze in your own maze

My love, I need a tiny bit of praise

I still see you in a dreary and lonely daze

It’s just another ridiculously silly phase

You filled in all of my grays

Caught up in a wintery haze

You will always be my gem

My bronze diamond too

You will always be my rock

My bronze diamond that is made from up above

You will always be like them

Who knew? Who knew?

My heart needs another lock

Where are the keys to your rather genuine love?

Your heart's a priceless, bronze diamond

You’re my bronze diamond

My bronze diamond

Please don’t tear apart our valuable bond

You’re my bronze diamond

My bronze diamond

Now, I can see black and white clearly

My heart will not beat tonight, baby,

If you can’t love me back to life, alright?

I don’t wanna roam all over the place tonight

I gotta let you know that I care for you completely

GirI, I reckon you understand me wholeheartedly

You are my bronze diamond forevermore

You are always gonna be the one I adore

Sugar Coat It

The holidays come round again,
distant and far off at first, this trend,
plenty of time to prepare, cards to send.

Hurried shopping travels
eased by the buyer's experiment with internet dabbles
from Amazon or e bay or some other sale unravelers.

Decorations, lights and Christmas carols play
on the radio beginning early September days
used to be Thanksgiving in November, but now early sways.

So much to do, so little time
as suddenly the distant future aligns
more near, sliding toward the newest finds.

Speak of how we love the season
Sugarcoat it for me, I'm still believing
we can celebrate its true comfort and joyous reason.

Its Christmas coming but once a year
as if the Lord Jesus returns again to each of us, right here
would that for man, that could be enough cheer.
