Dream Strider Walking Statue Dream

Dream strider: Walking statue dream
Will you whisper to me what it all means?

Angel: crying streams...
And fluttered dreams...

Dream strider: walking statue dream
Show me the way to the living stream

Angel: upon the horizon...
Look to the east
Great star arising

Dream strider: walking statue dream
Grant me my bread, my soul desperately feens

Angel: fear not the beast...
The Lord is the feast

Dream strider: walking statue dream
Your wisdom forever beams

Angel: while the wicked fall,
Desperately climbing..
A legend continues to unfold
His very presence burns..
Silencing the cold

Dream strider: walking statue dream
I have heard, and I do believe

Angel: revolution of a man
Dividing the lands...
Long dead...is Babylon's plan

Scenery of a Pond Lies In Between Tow Seasons

one drowsy day’s afternoon
by a pond where green leafy reeds swaying in a breeze
the sun enjoys a nap enveloped in a halo, the own glory

on the gentle weaves
a water strider gliding on the water with his long legs;
on a reed leaf a dragonfly sat atop of it and puts the pieces of broken sky
into his eyes larger than the sky to draw a picture of complete sky

the shirr chirrup of a cicada carried by the wind comes by the pond
searching a shade of a tree, but when he couldn’t find a one other than
the slender reeds stand by the everything-standstill pond, flies away grumbling
“no matter how desperate i am, i cannot sing a song hanging on a petty reed!
it’s an insult, it’s a disgrace to my reputation”

then the time, i wonder what’s made him so happy,
attired with all colorful patches of silk pieces garment
comes whistling and wanders in the fields and mountains
that is covered only a color of deep green; and dyes it with
spray of all imaginable colors you can think of:

before being sprayed colors were dry
a hotheaded wind makes an abrupt appearance,
letting colorful leaves ahead of him to raise a fuss
once again in the woods calm and peaceful

surprised by the commotion the birds fly away,
the crickets fill up a vacancy and collect leaves named decay
in the wood; tossing ashes after burning them in the lowly hanging
evening glow and long night’s chilling air

and as chilling air becomes dew the crickets wail forth dirges
followed by the lonely reeds cry, then the season stained with
so many mixed emotions drift away with the cloud;

and as the night deepens the stars fall,
the moonlight reflecting on the water glimmers,
a piece of wind torn by the wind behind goes
stepping on the mountainside path lifting a fluttering funeral streamer

Premium Member And Along Came a Spider

A spider was climbing my walls,
The size of it truly appalls,
I’m certain it’s a lass,
With a kardashian a ss,
I couldn’t spy male spider balls!

I shouted for my hubby to come,
He gasped at that huge spiders bum,
But my old Henry hoover,
Just couldn’t remover her,
I’m screaming Help I want my mum!

My p ussy cat eyed up the spider,
She wanted this beastie insider her,
Huge spider is walking,
Cat’s expert at stalking,
She corners it by my step strider

As Tiddles is superb at pouncing,
That spider got a severe trouncing,
And now it is dead,
What more can be said,
The death of spider I’m announcing

For Julie thanks for the inspiration. bb xx

Hit Squad '23

Hit 'em up! Hit 'em up!
Up, out and away

Singles, doubles, triples
and of course, the Big Bombay!

Snitker stoically managing from
the dugout
Ron Washington on third and Eric
Young, Sr. on first helping runners out

Strider, Morton, Elder, and Fried leading
the way
Chavez, Minter, Mchugh, and Iglesias closing
the day

D'Arnaud and Murphy guiding and protecting
home plate
When it's their chance in the batter box good
hitting they aptly demonstrate

Acuna Jr., Albies, Arcia and Harris II
applying the spark
Olson, Rosario, Ozuna, and Riley bomb blasting
making the park go dark

Hit 'em up! Hit 'em up!
Up, out and away

Braves win!
Hip Hip Hooray!

Premium Member Better Names for a Camel

The dromedary camel has one hump,
and the Bactrian camel has two,
but I always get them mixed up!
Do you?

So, just for a bit of fun,
here are some alternate names for camels.
(Feel free to pick your favorite one!)

One alternative, after some study,
could be a handle like "Dune Buddy".

Or we could suggest, without fear of rebuke,
an appellation like "Desert Duke".

While sipping on some apple cider,
I thought of this one: "Sandy Strider".

And my friend, an avid motorbiker,
has suggested "Hump Hiker".

Here's a basketball reference that's worth the money.
How's this for a name? "Camelo Anthony"!

And a medieval reference which we can allot
would, of course, be none other than "Camel-ot"!

Dream Strider Phantom Post Endearment

Dream strider: Phantom post endearment
My dear who I long to see...
Yet deep down, I know it's just a dream...

Anonymous spirit: what do you mean?
What is just a dream?

Dream strider: phantom post endearment
You know my words, yes
My fondness for you I must confess

Anonymous spirit: speak plainly
It's meaning is shrouded, and quiet rainy

Dream strider: phantom post endearment
My heart is hidden, buried in blocks of cement
Through my strides, I do vent

Anonymous spirit: you poor dear
Your pain, I feel it near

Dream strider: phantom post endearment
Your face is hidden but it's essence leaves a print
Mine also hidden, my soul ignites like Flint

Anonymous spirit: you speak oddly,
But i do enjoy your poetic body

Dream strider: phantom post endearment
Speaking in hymns...
Knowing you'll listen, maybe read between the lines

Anonymous spirit: I can hear you, u know
'see what?' (she questions, her head hangs low)

Dream strider: phantom post endearment
What dreams may come, my love-born
I dream stride, then transform

Anonymous spirit: what is this you speak of?
Are you truly in love?

Dream strider: phantom post endearment
I'm aching for you, can you hear it?
I'm caught, helpless in your caressing fit

Anonymous spirit: no,..you can't be...
You've never even seen me!

Dream strider: phantom post endearment
My dear,
Longing for you burns...
Then Sears

Anonymous spirit: (she sighs) then disappears..
Deep down she feels it.. the way it Sears....

Dream strider: phantom post endearment
Hymn- crossed love
Might not be... no. Maybe no other

Anonymous spirit: she glances back then whispers..
Could this be love?
My dove?

Bite Your Wicked Tongue

Thanks to Terry Flood who wrote, 'The Vicar Spied a Spider'
an "eight legged beastie." It was my inspiration to write
about the beastly arachnid in the following lines.

Roaming all around the farm was a surly beast
A black arachnid who chose to sit on a fence post
It'd had been weeks since engorging her last feast
Oh, how that demented creature loved to boast
as the first ray of sunlight appeared in the east.

Charla Webley yearned to be the queen spider
Quite a sinister creature, spinning her sticky goo
She's a creepy one, an old crooked legged strider,
always on the prowl for innocent prey to chew
but won't fit in cracks if her butt gets much wider.

Charla Webley's started a bad habit of flaunting
her hairy legs by pointing them as if bony fingers
at anyone who comes near, like she's taunting
them to cower in fear, hoping their fright lingers
but it's funny when she thinks she is daunting.

But Charla wasn't paying close enough attention
when a hungry crow then suddenly appeared
Those she baited didn't perform an intervention
by warning crude Charla her enemy had neared
They smiled at the moment of her apprehension.

Charla Webley heard the caw, although too late
for she'd been bitten by the bird's sharp beak.
The moral here should be very clear, "Do not hate,"
or "Bite your wicked tongue before you speak."
Spiders with a bad attitude always rue their fate.
