Hello Jan ... we have a very large but harmless house spider down here called a Huntsman. If you don't like spiders you will move house. Parking your car under a gum tree can also invite an unwelcome guest. Your poem reminds me of a Huntsman - thank you Jan - Lindsay

Thank god for pets. Your poem reminded me one of my past dogs that ate a large spider and all I could hear was the crunching, then I gave him a biscuit to get the taste out of his mouth lol. Enjoyed your poem Jan. Emilia : )

I could write a book about the tarantulas in Tasmania (my father-in-law would not visit becauses of them and my mother-in-law visited, but sat in a chair every night rather than chance falling a sleep in a bed), but enjoyed your poem, Jan! Aloha! Rico

Look at the size of that thing lol, it's their mating season soon and they they say there will be an invasion of the damn things, if they're that big we'll have to move out. Tom PS, great Web of limericks (groan)

Superb limericking, Jan. I was entranced. If I saw a spider that big I wouldn't be close enough to do a body scan.
