Be drift the moon across cloudless sky
to shine it's light upon the cloudy I
beneath her gaze my darkened days
where time has slowed and doesn't quickly fly
And crowded are the days in lonely thought
considering those I know untimely bought
thoughts take course in their own remorse
upon those which time and chance has caught
But spendthrift my joy within this time
recalling laughter spent I bring to mind
like vesture wear the things we'ad share
that in the future will be left behind
Stretch forth my hand to things from past
and forward move beyond dies cast
remembering the years forgetting all the tears
throwing fears away with courage to standfast
Bring back the soft happiness on the morrow
and take away the grey grief and sorrow
work me a happy tune play melodious soon
for the joys tween times of grief we borrow
source human expierences

Again these men comes to mind,
Paid to say yes and nay,
Lame duck,
Canker, ***** rapscallion minds
Incorrigible,
Political impostors detached from the humdrum of street cries
Maggots in honor
Damp squib temples of legislators
Dishonorable honorable,
Rotund circles of rascals
Fellows fit for the gallows
Clamping on huge figures,
While masses groan in penury and misery
These men,
Myopic spendthrift
Guilty of our nation’s scraggy state
Yet so confused to order the path of the clueless dummy
Who imposed tax on all, by military orders
Ignoring the pleas, and rightful protesters
Turned tyrannical with marching murderer on Lagos Street
Their gains is from the pain of myriads of unemployed
The beggars,
The homeless,
Hungering and the dying,
Yet, these,
Profligate band of quipster
Queasy brains,
Feigning parliamentary proceedings,
Though,
Benighted of procedural skills,
Bootleg insane scoundrels
Go to now, you dunce,
Senators are no thief
Legislators are honorable men
Your reputation!
Mud eaten,
Ask the people, they know so well,
Your inscriptions are carved on the web
The insignia of corrupt men
You pride faded,
Honor, a high price you must pay to regain,
Not with money
You banter and wade it off,
Glory in these,
Your temporal pride,
Your mansions outlive you,
Your coffins called cars
Your billions in Zurich,
Your fears to face the people
And the mockery of Truth
When your time is over,
Time shall mock your reigns of folly,
With sicknesses of nameless brand,
Retrospectively,
Sufferers will call to mind, the avoidable denials,
Their pains, their poverty in your pride against your master- THE PEOPLE,
Welcome to your misery
as the masses will watch you die
rascal of usurps seats of honor, don’t call them fools.
Everything I buy to touch or taste
is made in China, made in China
leave alone my china set, even my toothpaste
is made in China, made in China.
From my pencils to my stencils
to the golden locks on my stylish lockers
all bore labels of 'made in China' in block capitals
and that explains thriving doorbell hawkers.
And for 'economical' me, stuff made in China
does hold a lot of frugal charm
Comes all the way from China, my granny's parka
About 'made in China' I've never had any qualms.
And because I don't intend to fritter away
hard-earned savings on any frippery
for 'made in china' alone shall my purse'n' pocket pay
and don't they play their part perfectly,
both my 'made in China' stereo and frisbee?
And all that 'made in China cutlery and crockery
is just as fragile and breakable as any other
All my life I've stuck to made in China stationery
and their costs haven't been any exorbitant so far.

I have seen latest High quality samsung Chinese cellphones
My TV a longlasting decade old, yes chinese Hitachi brand
You can wisely avoid debts and loans
purchasing brand new grand stuff from
the Chinese land
And then to my surprise I discovered
that many people both here and abroad
tended to buy things made in the land of the Great Wall
for similar reasons: esp they're easier to afford.
Ah, I don't like the idea of squandering away
or thoughtless wasting of wealth
No one could ever make a spendthrift out of me
For that would be unhealthy for budget health!
To refrain from prodigality and unfeeling extravagancy
'made in China' seems to me the solution
Let millionnaires make-believe that only the costly has quality
for I ain't gonna buy that pricey notion!
The Return of the Prodigal Poet
When the crystal bell rang I entered the classroom of dreams,
they sat in their desks like wax statues breathing slowly,
the rest had vanished into the fog of time they looked at me like an apparition,
they inscribed me with moon ink in the magic catalog of absences.
What are you staring at I said in my voice that trembled slightly,
I was absent traveling through worlds I will remain here floating,
I was in the north where the sky danced in vivid multicolored auroras,
then in the south I plunged into a forest of white perfumed jasmine.
Like a silk sheet I floated freely in the arms of warm wind,
I even have the glowing photograph with a girl on the golden sand beach,
I was valedictorian lighting up the room with diplomas of silver stars,
what do I do now with the absences floating like petals in the air.
They looked at me with a sweet sadness like the bitter honey of autumn,
they didn't utter a word but their eyes spoke in profound silence,
you would have said their hearts were bleeding for me the lost one,
I answered them in thought to the strangers imprisoned in their wax routine.
Then the Examiner entered wrapped in a violet shadow cloak,
he carried on his shoulder a lead swallow singing metal melodies,
oh if you knew what he whispered in my ear with a black velvet voice,
the secret that changes destinies and opens the gates of hidden worlds.
I was a spendthrift of dreams and colors through nameless and mapless lands,
valedictorian in the academy of life where I learned the language of stars,
returning home to the classroom that awaited me like a forgotten hive,
where old souls welcomed me into their circle of pale light.
Thanks GOD its Easter..
the drunkard will drink
the sluggard will idle..
the spendthrift shop...
the zealot holds the book..
the end is near.. they all..
give him blank stares..
the lovers hold hands
The dutiful believer drags..
his young family to church..
at the public places friends...
sharing the love of friendship
For a few thousand years ago
they shouted crucify him..
i guess Mary didn't know.. that
we would celebrate her son..
As he was hanging there..
on that rugged cross..
women speaking in hushes..
Is he the Son of great I AM..

Memories beyond time
Once embracing my tender wrists,
now tired watches lay dropped on woods,
Waking me up with first ray of sun, asleep with set,
only to find years and decades pass by,
Constant Memories that keep me introspecting,
as I see the twilight appear and wither,
Proving Einstein's theory of relativity,
while people are lost in materialism,
I am being spendthrift with words so sublime,
anticipate they live even after the concluding day,
On every timeline hangs a malignant memory,
to create history and for moving on and on !!

No Rest for the Broke
A hustler from Durban did hustle and grind,
But heaven seemed hundreds of hopes far
behind.
He pleade for peace,
Got debts without cease,
And found fate had a fiendish design!
The Chicken Crossed For Wi-Fi
A clucking wee chicken went creaking
one day,
Crossed the craziest crossing for a hotspot,
they say.
But the signal so week,
Now chirps out his challenges in eggs
every day!
The Blesser and his Money
There was once a blesser in Zamdela,
Who spent his mitha on falsetto-
Today he sings for the fame,
but easily forgets his name,
now he hums in tongues incognito
The Jamaican Chef
A chef from out Jamaica,Joy,
Made jerked chicken a jammin' great toy.
Wi' hot habits he had,
He was hardly so had,
His hot hen helped him hire every hoy!
A snatcher named Javas, a silent snake's son,
Snapped phones with such speed, he
shocked everyone.
He'd steal seven a second,
A storm of a fellow, we reckoned,
Sending signals of sorry such soon he was
spooky with snatching so swiftly he'd shoot
past the sun!
There is only love
when we leave the other
behind – our world of others:
Commitments deemed by
self so paramount,
we become perpetually
addicted to treadmills;
inducted wrong-tracks
adhering as a second
skin –
The rain can
fall but the plain will never
give back, if the permeable
depths irretrievably
No benefit by making
of one's self a non
irrigable desert –
having wandered too far and
stored up too little –
the well used sayings
about burning bridges
and being a spendthrift,
they apply to the heart and
soul as well--
Love often...but wisely....
