There is a language barrier being created
adopted and fostered by social media
controlling certain dialect from surfacing
kept down with bad manners treasonous acts
Governing bodies has signed the soul of democracy away
to address another human life form rubbished neologism
firstly a status of hate filled pride needs to be brought into account here
to alter facts and grammar suiting a wicked agenda
This has no value when examined for what's right and just
silence is no longer a tool of the innocent
when powered to speak with lawful manners
From the wool of a Lamb knitted into a soul
the Lion will roar within this arena
words are enslaved put in chains by bigots
backwards justice in the end will fail terribly
because the finger will always point out
the truth from deep within a person's heart

So you take the facts and twist and lie
Claim to care, but laugh not cry
Stomp on your neighbor, falsely accuse
Of so many things, as you outright abuse
Burn our flag, kill our babies after born
I am beginning to see the devil’s horn
Deny a crisis that exists with the facts
Refuse to listen to experts, while full of attacks
Fighting against every single one of our values
There is only darkness, no colorful hues
You stand by corruption, as if it is ok
You obstruct justice, allow law violators to stay
You control free speech on social media too
Everything is about transformation to you
I really wonder why you choose to stay,
In a country you hate in every way?
You want to remove God and let me tell you,
He knows who mock him, he will remember you!

The fish swim in a clear, spring lake.
The bait is murder, poverty, war and insincerity.
Here come the neswspeople, your serenity to take.
Thus, we, the fish eat the bait and think that all the
world is pure insincerity?

News-ghouls, are our new gods that we so adore.
But it’s a cash cow for the press, don’t you see?
Negativity is our weakness, our sily love de jour.!
But it’s a cash cow for the press, TV, and we pass
it on to friends, do you see?
These omens of evil crawl over social media, fake
news channels, and more.

The solution is quiite simple, from them get a divorce!
Fill each daty, with love, smiles and tons of laughter
Play music, dance, and of your own life becone the source.
Laughter so loud, it literally rings from the cedar rafters!!

Premium Member Ficklebook

FB, ficklebook, fakebook, friendbook
In our modern world social media is king
A new way to communicate, a new look
It seems strange at times, a weird thing

Birthday wishes and condolences are posted galore
Sue and Jenny post their troubles and relationship issues
Pictures, selfies, trips, and celebrations are all shared and more
News posts and important posts from community officials

Many of your friends may leave comments and like or love your posts
Running into these same people in person however is not the same
Sue walked right by me in the store and ignored me like I was a ghost
Jenny acknowledged me at the supermarket with a quick hi that was lame

FB, friendbook, I refer to as my ficklebook now
A nice social media site but mainly with acquaintances
Still a nice place to play games and post pics anyhow
But it doesn’t change all the years passed and the distances

PARASITE

Aint nothing in life so weak and parasitic
As the smug self-delusional heckling critic
Sick with repressed envy and a manner most vile
He slithers to his seat to vent his acrid bile
Bereft of any talent to do anything himself
Can't wait to put the boot into everybody else
Can't act, can't dance, can't sing, can't play
Wouldn't have the nuts to get up on stage anyway
Sad man, sad man, silly little sad man.

Really rates himself as a man who knows his stuff
Mouthing well-used insults (too dumb for off-the-cuff)
When you're up there playing he'll inevitably try
To portray mock disdain if you ever catch his eye
So pay no mind to this impotent imbecile
Who follows his calling with unrelenting zeal
No wit, no style, no clout, no class
The turgid remains of a charisma bypass
Sad man, sad man, pity for the sad man.

Like a keyboard warrior, an internet troll
Loves it when his barbs hit an unsuspecting goal
And if you ever flinch, he's got you mind and soul
Thinks this master of the moment the ninja in control

Next time I'm performing I pray that he will show
I'll come on all guns blazing, and hope he has a go
This piteous mug who'll dismiss me with a sneer
Chuckling with his cronies at how bad I've been up here
On social media you can bet he'll go to town
Spewing forth his venom as he tries to put me down
No joy, no smile, no love, no praise
A pitiful indictment of his hollow darklit days.
Sad man, sad man, silly little sad man.

The Crow

The Crow

(A lone voice whispers)

No happiness for me and my best friend
Tony the pony today

For we lost our beloved muse
At 2 pm

One minute she was in full view
Perched on our old Oak tree

Watching us with beady black eyes like a true devotee

Then just like the uptake in poetry

In the 21st Century
By the younger generation

We were old news

She must have flew away to better things, we both thought

As we walked home
Past the village post office

Thinking of our old muse
With the crow like black hair

Lost to us forever

After getting us addicted to reading writing and listening to poetry

Underneath that old Oak tree
Now flying alone

Somewhere
Out there

Looking down below
For a new home

Like it once had
With Tony the pony

And me

Is poetry like a bird flying around looking for somewhere new to land, after introducing others to its mysterious pleasures?

But as the newer generations get addicted to gaming platforms, and social media.

Will it eventually find landing, harder and more and more rarer?

Life and Liberty

I shared a post about the situation in Afghanistan (on social media). This is, however, a global challenge. Women deserve to be treated with dignity, kindness and respect. You can be the most powerful and feared "leader", but if you cannot grant everyone freedom, love, light, integrity and honour, you fail yourself and the highest power you believe in.

Remember that the greatest power you can ever have is power over yourself. Be kind. Be just. Be honourable. Have integrity. Give your people love, light and freedom. Life and liberty is the right of every being.

Life and Liberty

I know of no man or woman
Who would choose to be in a cage
There is not one child alive
Who dreams of being enslaved

For in each and every one of us
Is the spark of light and hope
Each of us wishes to be free
To make our own choices

I know of no man or woman
Who wants to live in a maze
Where you go through a labyrinth
And forever remain lost and dazed

No child every envisaged
A land where some are hidden
That merely being born a girl
Is a reason to be deemed a sinner

For in each of us, whether boy or girl
There beats a hopeful heart
To be accepted as we are
To be loved for our special spark

No one wants to be kept hidden
No one wants to live in a cage
No one wants a lack of freedom
No one wants to feel enslaved

Everyone wants to be accepted
Everyone wants to have a choice
Everyone wants to live a life of meaning
Everyone wants to have a voice

So, what are we doing to each other?
Why do people behave this way?
At what point do we appreciate each person?
At what point do we agree to pray?

For it doesn't matter what you believe in
It doesn't matter to whom you pray
God or Source or Allah or Universe
It remains a power beyond our sway

And if we listened really carefully
And if we were true to our integrity
We'd realise that we need to be good and kind
We need to give each soul life and liberty

Pay no mind to man behind the curtain.
You've learned the superficial but his depths are still uncertain.

You tried to plot his course and see that death is lurking.
Look into his eye and you'll see the drugs are working.

It's the sad sad tale of the promise land.
Where you calculate your worth with a cyber hand.

Where you're notified daily that no one understands.
With modern civil rights as false as facebook friends.

They say "We've got to come together; gotta make this right!"
Fat chance of that happening unless you pass that pipe.

On this bureaucratic farm with it's produce ripe.
They cultivate the origins of your foresight.

Playing on your misery as if it were delight.
Still you are convinced you're in a fair fight....

He whimpers who ere roared

Internet mania, a double-edged sword,
Prez campaigns, fun nor frolic can afford,
Memes may make huge buzz,
But few votes for the fuss,
Fans may turn sudden foes,
And goodwill sooner goes,
Look at Trump, he now whimpers who ere roared.

Poet’s note: kamala Harris may have turned a phenomenon, or rather a ‘feminomenon’ at present to command a lot of fun and froth on social media. The question is would they turn into actual votes in November? One hopes, she does not become a victim like Hillary Clinton. Prez campaigns cannot hinge on coconut jokes.

Know It All Tshirt Maker Day Job

Been there

Seen it

Heard it

Done it all before

As I

Work as a t-shirt maker during the day

Am on each and ever social media
platform known to man existing
out there on the internet

Drink in pubs with countless know
it all's far to many to count

Am a member of my local fishing club

Host a once a weekly fishwives meeting
on ever last Thursday of the month

Am down with the kids

A lifetime inductee to the
conspiracy theorists
Hall of fame secret society

And am also in the freemasons as well

And yes , yes I do confess to shooting the
deputy but I didn't shoot sheriff that wasn't
me I have an alibi

So when I say

Been there
Seen it
Heard it
Done it all before

It was actually even invented

One thing you can know for sure

Is that
Yes
I am

One of those know it alls

And yes I even have the t - shirt

To prove it

As I made it my for very own self
during my lunch break of course

Just in case anyone asks because I
am on my final warning

For doing far too much taking and
not enough work that I am actually in
fact paid for
