Wake up early,
be sure to wear clean underwear.
Get dressed.
Go sit down and breathe quietly,
be prepared
in that hour before dawn,
for it is then
that they will come for you.
Never write down your thoughts
or express an opinion,
whatever is said or mistakenly implied
can be twisted to seem
controversial or inflammatory.
Turn in your friends, neighbors,
wife, children, or parents
for they may testify against you first -
it's the loving thing to do.
Pack a small nondescript suitcase,
burn all documents and letters
carry no ID,
don't use a credit card,
be prepared to take a slow train
into anonymity.
Know this,
hope is futile -
they will find you anyway.
A fter the rains disappear and the summer dissolves
U nder sapphire sky soft breeze slides and revolves
T rees lining the garden path prepare to face the fall
U mber leaves wilt slow and wait for the winter’s call
M orning dew clings to the ochre grass as silver crown
N orthern winds will spray opaque mist in the air soon.
C anopy of amber forest observes the birds fly away
O n the fallen rustling foliage mystique shadows play
L ast few days before the winter brings the frost along
O n blue hills clouds waltz and wind sings autumn song
R hythm resonates in my merry mind in words of rhyme
S preads on my poem the sunset colors of autumn time.
September 16, 2017,.
I'm constantly thinking about
the fear of the uncertain tomorrow...
not being able to gain strength
and conquer it with a mind so narrow.
Living in solitude wasn't too pleasant
it deepens if there's no control over it;
in this lonely dimension I grew up,
with a philosophy of a loveless pup!
I often wished for amorous affections,
dedicating myself to my chosen one;
did it materialize or vanished as others
did to allow a freedom without any desire?
Time doesn't slow down for concessions,
it turns into a violent and devastating twister
that leaves a desolate land to future dangers...
warning the living that nothing will glister!
Whoever plans the future with great expectations
will certainly know delusion, a taste of bitterness;
while the fear for the uncertain tomorrow grows:
can prayers offer hope and relieve the pain of a loss?
You whirl, you whir, a sparkler with no plan.
A frantic rush, chasing all you think you can.
Each flip is fragile, fleeting, never really sown.
A scatter gun feast, that leaves you all alone.
You blaze as if the world will soon ignite.
Your tiny body burns with furious light.
Your haste is commanding, yet what is it worth?
Without pausing to taste the fleeting mirth?
The garden knows your madness; it makes it clear,
That no blossom trusts your beat to linger near.
You skim, you dart, you never claim the whole.
For your shallow sips can never fill the soul.
A slower hand, will plant, endure and stay,
Learning the patient slow cadence of the day.
For haste will scatter, shatter what was planned,
Quickly yielding the dust you cannot stand.
Why do you not linger longer at what you sip?
Your feet are a blur; your body is a whip.
But, why this panicked, fevered, fleeting chase?
What force is driving you at such a pace?
Can menacing winds command you to not rest?
Or are rivals sneaking in, invading your nest?
You know a steady heart, outlasts a flashing one.
Playing slow and stead get the victory won.
[Verse 1 – Him]
Wake up with the sunrise, boots on the floor
Coffee in the kitchen, same as the day before
I love like I live—steady, slow, and strong
Keep it simple, keep it real, keep movin’ on
[Verse 2 – Her]
I move to the rhythm of a city beat
Glass in my hand, high heels on my feet
Love, to me, is spark and style
Never stayed long, never thought I’d walk the aisle
[Pre-Chorus – Together]
We speak in different keys, walk to different tunes
But something started shifting under the same moon
[Chorus – Him leads, Her harmonizes, then together]
You’re the spice in my Sunday stew
I’m the calm when the world’s brand new
You shine like a rooftop view
I’m the porch swing next to you
You’re the harmony I never knew I needed
In a song I thought was already completed
We’re not just two playing along
Together, baby… we make the song
[Verse 3 – Him]
Playing that bar on a Friday night
Same three chords, same neon light
Then you walked in with fire and grace
Grabbed the mic, and changed the place
[Verse 4 – Her]
I didn’t come to steal the show, just passing through
But your melody pulled something real from me too
I grabbed the mic, found your groove
Laid my voice on yours, and it started to move
Not just pretty, not just sweet—
We hit a chord that knocked me off my feet
[Pre-Chorus – Together]
Two voices blending where silence used to be
I found the song, and the song found me
[Chorus – Together]
You’re the spice in my Sunday stew
I’m the calm when the world’s brand new
You shine like a rooftop view
I’m the porch swing next to you
You’re the harmony I never knew I needed
In a song I thought was already completed
We’re not just two playing along
Together, baby… we make the song
[Bridge]
(Him) Never thought love had room to grow
(Her) Never knew slow could steal the show
(Both) But now our rhythm’s strong and sweet
Like a record set on repeat
[Final Chorus]
You’re the fire and I’m the stone
Together, we built a place called home
Different roots but the same deep beat
Now every note feels so complete
You’re the harmony I never knew I needed
In a song I thought was already completed
We’re not just right—we belong
You and me…
We make the song
With what seems like lightening speed, time flies by,
The world as you knew it is gone, in a flash, in a sigh.
And all you really catch are glimpses of life here and there,
Sometimes the picture is pure delight, others deep despair.
Yet if you slow down and let God have the reins,
Relax and lay back, learn to read His simple signs.
His picture comes into frame, with His help we can see,
Where our future and place in His ministries is to be.
On this Earth with all of His creatures we can act the fool,
This place where human likes to think they can control and rule.
God will lay down His law, with His power, with His utter grace.
To survive, watch for Him to tell us where we belong in His place.
If it is to be a guardian of His garden, His Eden this place called Earth,
We must learn to Love each other, as He has Loved each of us since before our birth.
Discern the truth in that sure light,
Live ample proof in plain good sight.
Know what you know with sense and feel,
Dance swift and slow and watch what thrills.
Seek then fond dream with glimpse that comes,
Ask faith to stream that poignant sum.
Be aware then as habit shows,
See where and when how fate funds flow.
Let heart be light with mind at peace,
Soul primes fond flight with loving ease.
Watch what unfurls as moments spring,
Dare wit to hurl the word you fling.
Instruct grand time that mystic rhyme,
Echo fine mime in visual chimes.
Seize miracle apocalypse,
Heed oracle in lovely trip.
In ebb and flow the seasons move,
Change fashions glow as hope finds groove.

Your mind’s racing
Scared to feel the hurt again
Every shadow
Looks like I’m walking away
You’re shaking in my arms
Saying you don’t trust your brain
That I don’t love you
That I don’t wanna stay
I see the storm
Running through your body
You’re at the door
Saying you can’t do this
I’m on the floor
Holding back my begging
Wondering how we got here
Paranoid thoughts say I don’t love you
But I’m still here
Holding on to you
I will suffer every heartbreak
Every time you turn and run
Every escape
Every return
I won’t give up
Till your paranoid thoughts stop
You’re about to run
’Cause you don’t know what else to do
I’m in the kitchen light
Crying
Thinking only of you
Asking myself
Over and over again
How do I hold you
When you’re fighting my hands
I wear your worry
Like it’s my own skin
I feel you shaking
Before you let me in
I wish I could
Take your mind and slow it
Pull you out that spiral
If you go
If you come back (I’m here)
I’ll be right where you left me
Intact
Let your fear crash into my chest
Let it break me
I’ll love you through the mess (yeah)
Your mind’s racing
But I’m not letting go
I’ll hold the hurt
Till your thoughts lose control of you no more
No other choices left to go
Words and advice have been to slow
Doing their job would of prevented this
Every communication into the abyss
No cruelty no care
Treated not nice of fair
Just the vast expanse of nothingness
From those who promote healthiness
Being paid large salaries
Preaching to those with abnormalities
One appointment every year
The rest of the time living in fear
I cry and beg for your help
Yet they leave me crying ready to yelp
They like to kick you when your down
Beg for help and they frown
Her silence has left me more devastated
Mood so low and deflated
With no choice just a last resort
A drug for the mind it may support
The outcome may have been different
If they weren’t so rude and ignorant
But for right now I have the last resort
The pulse stops beating,
Slowly at first
The heart starts weeping
For it has lost its thirst
For life, as it is today
The World has gone mad
And many people
Have lost the will to stay
In a world full of trouble and pain
Mainly caused by man
What did we have to gain
I don't think this was God's plan
With so many in the World,
We will never get perfect peace,
Is it too much to expect?
For HUMAN BEINGS to release
Their emotions
And bottle up their grief,
Because they think there's nothing
To give their hearts and souls relief.
The pulse of life slows down,
When all goes to pot
Warmongers have gone crazy
And completely lost the plot,
What they don't seem to realise
Or if they do, they do not care,
There is a strong possibility
Our world will not exist out there.
