Silken Dust

They say,
Be not moved by gold,
Nor charmed by crowns,
Nor swayed by faces
Carved like the dawn.

But by hearts that give
Without asking for more,
By spirits clothed in grace,
Stitched with kindness.

Yet we—fragile beings,
Spun from dust and desire,
Bow often to the gleam,
Reaching for what glitters.

They say,
Let the heart lead the way,
Let the soul discern freely,
That true beauty lies
In soft-spoken words.

But we—flawed and fleeting,
Walk past the sacred,
Chasing shimmery mirages,
Bruising the hands of need.

They say,
Love the one who listens
When silence falls,
Who sees you not as conquest,
But as home—a safe haven.

Yet the eyes, ever hungry,
Falls for the sparks,
And not the hot flames,
That lingers in quiet devotion.

And while character fades,
Into the noise we choose,
The soul stays hushed,
Whimpering beneath glitters.

the eye of the hurricane is still
humming silently with potent power
as is the animated stillness continuum
preceding the emission of heart’s pure intent

thought cessation of consciousness self-aware
holding erect all energies in perfect balance
enlivens the bardo with a magnetic pulse
ushering ineffable aesthetic delight

behold how polarities within mingle
benign bliss beats generating cool heat
causing soma nectar to drip through form
soundless thunder felt by holder of the flame

oriented as such in mood and mode of vibrancy
empty within and nonchalant to outcomes
fully present in the now continuum
soul delights in every offering

retracing our steps back to source
befriending silence, poised in stillness
slowing down thought and gentling touch
our single eye peeps through pores of space

as an individuated module of God consciousness
subtler than space and more potent than fire
we transcend limitations of linear time
both immanent and transcendent

watching the ebb and flow of tides
we dip in and out of shimmery illusions
from the stillness fulcrum beyond space time
we fully partake of and then release each embrace

            ~ leaving behind no residue

Dream Pilgrim

Slipping past the threshold of the daystar in velvet vesper hues
My weary pilgrim heart sheds the restraints
Of pale dawn’s blush and twilight’s silver dawning darkness dyed in ebony
To gather starlit threads of lacy midnight raptures –
Cobwebs of mysterious deep scars –
Shivering echoes and silent symphonies solitudes
Pulling apart tangled luminescent threads of soaring moon fantasy dances
Of wild, untamed, white hot strands of passion in braided chords of shimmery
Cords of dark secrets bound in night terrors of colorless tantrums -
Rosy remembrances and new hope in borning greens –
Scattered remnants of the forgotten in barefoot convictions
To weave a gauzy metaphor light as clouds ships on a midnight seascape
A fragile souvenir of pale hoarfrost in flowing textures of irony –
Emerging mystic patterns bold as an ephemeral glimpse of eternal
Gossamer filaments in mystic schemes of far pavilions
A fleeting tapestry – a mantle of the epic pilgrimage visage -
Disappearing into wreaths of corona’s memory crowning
In new light of re-emerging time’s strong resolve
Only to reprise the journey when sighs of sweet slumber’s song
Again invites my heart to explore the maze in shimmers of sleep

SUMMER SPEAKS

I’m Sister Summer sizzling, in bouncy birth
sugarbirds outward bound in twanging sound
sunflowers stand tall on radiant dewdrop mirth
dragonflies settling on parsley, barley and mint
tanned faces blush in rosy scintillating glint

Shimmery beach daughters flout floral in daze
golden my rays stroke serene sea and surf’s turf
skipping on white sand, life without faze, I blaze
drink atemoya ambrosia, nectared is freckled fruit
following Sister Spring my chesty heatwaves root

After Sister Winter took you downward dark cold
my days hug halcyon walks and disco dances
I, Summer, savour bubbling bare beauty bold
expanding, entrusting streams of enigmatic time
leaps of courageous action I boisterous chime

My confident prayers sail across cypress trees
hearts beat valiant beneath wide sapphire skies
chrysanthemums sway in slight southern breeze
mercurial my heat quivers, rising hopes high
mystic saffron nights, I usher in Sister Fall’s sighs

Happiness heliotroped is favoured gorgeous garb
activations recline towards revelations divine
luminal light on Love’s mysterious arrowed barb
dynamic I expose sources of ecstatic abilities
open lucrative doors with powered possibilities !

Heavenly Wee Wee

Heaven gladly accepted me
My heart is so full of glee
Cause I'd never thought I'd be
In a place where love is free
My excitements giving me
The sudden urge to go wee-wee
I look around and finally see
Where I sit and tinkle pee
On a "throne" so heavenly
My bladder is now happy
Now that it is urine free
The shiny bowl is so pretty
The waters very shimmery
When I flush it instantly
Refills with a rainbowy
Colorful and brilliantly
Liquid that smells pleasantly
Now bathroom trips personally
Are not a chore and genuinely
I look forward to daily
Flushing after leisurely
Sitting soft and comfortably
In a spot so privately
Reserved everyday for me

Dream Weaver

The weaver sits before the threshold of the daystar
Upon a carpet dyed in ebony spread across an alabaster porch,
Hidden by a cape of ivory shimmers,
In between twilight’s caress and the palest blush of dawn,
To gather from the floor of slumber’s tent, and far pavilions,
Starlight threads of lacy midnight raptures
And cobwebs mystery floating through deep scars of laughter
Before the matins glowing door calls sleepers come away
From silent symphonies of solitude
Or whispering shivers of echoes returning
To scatter remnants of midnight dances
When the weaver’s hand swiftly guides the flying shuttle
To bind the fragile luminescent strands -
Silver silent tears next to mornings’ strong resolve,
New hope in borning green,
White hot strands - convictions passion -
Bound forever next to nightmares, braided chords of shimmery,
Dark secrets spoken only in between chords of sunlit days
Rosy remembrance woven overall
With light speed pushing warp and woof pulling tangled dreams apart
Forever woven into midnight’s mantle of translucent silken patterns
Worn closest to the spirit’s metaphor,
Light as cloud ships on a summer wind song
Bold and strong as visionary glimpses of eternity,
In flowing rhythms and textures irony emerging
Worn upon the mantle’s visage,
A maze of multi-colored hues scattered through the cloth -
A pattern of the mystic scheme –
A portrait of the soul emerging
From the weaver waiting at the threshold
Of the silver dawning sunset, reflections faithful servant,
Eternal guardian of the misty portico
Where the weary pilgrim passes on the twilight breezes
Welcomed as a child bringing home garlands woven in the sunlight,
Wreaths of memory crowning time,
Carrying in their hands brilliant threads to bind -
To rest again in the lullaby of stillness
While the weaver listens to the humming
Of sweet slumber’s singing loom
To weave a cloth of dreams.

Premium Member Moonlit Prayers

Lank shimmery hair flows off her shoulders
Cascading aloft sweet midnight zephyr
Alone she sits perched on seaside boulders
Under somber moonlight where he'd left her

Night after night she's at the rendezvous
Serene silhouette against the skyline
Amorously bidding her love adieu
Should by design the stars divine align

The twilight shadows hide the tears that flow
Deferring to cosmic powers that be
Prayers released beneath a live tableau
Akin lost mermaid lingering at sea

Love lost in surf leaving a soul in strife
Fate to reunite love in the next life

Time

Like a shimmery satin
Ribbon blowing in the wind
Time slips and twists,
Its meaning constantly shifting.
How much time is there?
Do we have time? How long?
Can space be time? Is there
Only a certain space of time
In which we are caught, live
Out our lifespan and die?

There is a certain time,
To catch a train, a set time
For an appointment.
How long is a stretch of time?
Is time enough just enough
Or more than enough?
Is it an hour, a week, a year?
Is an eon still time?
Does time have weight?
Can it weigh heavily on someone?

When is there not enough time?
A day to take a trip?
A month to pay bills?
Is time longer or shorter
When you don’t have the money?
How can time be short for
One person and long for another?
Is a long time heavy or light?
What about a moment in history?
Is the moment time?
Is history time or is it space?

So, what IS time? Is it flexible?
A perception? An idea? How can
Time be both exact and inexact!
Clock pendulums swing, but
They tick off only the hours,
And minutes and seconds,
Never the elastic, elusive time
Which spins its own thread,
That constantly weaves in
And out of our lives,
Like a ribbon in the wind.

Premium Member The Magic of Winter

“Snowflakes are winter’s butterflies.” – Unknown

Winter is not always bitter, lifeless and drab
Snow gleams as it blankets and caresses nature
Birds become a vibrant display in reds and blues
A Blue Jay squawks as a cardinal stands ground
Perched on shimmery branches and bird feeders
As their songs warm frigid air with joyous melodies
Trees sleep as their barren branches provide shelter
While ice shimmers in artsy patterns under sunlight
Squirrels busy at feeders, hoarding seeds and nuts
Winds blow snowfall as it cleanses the drab ground
Ducks heard quacking while perching on icy riverbeds
Nature becomes a magical display in winter

Premium Member Blossoms and Bubbles

While sunrise bathes the early morning air
Illuminating new dawn’s loveliness,
Where mild rain tints the pure of crystal glare
To rouse shimmery boughs through June’s finesse.

Herein, aisle of florets displays its charm,
In brightest russets , in the mildest blues
Unfurling nature's waltzes that disarm
While showers of mist embellish all hues.

And garlands pirouette to catch glossed drops,
That my own soft feet twirl in revelry
When bubbles of dew explode, then to pop,
On clusters’ sunlit jive waking a lea.

Till nightfall approaches to calm the flow
Blooms curtsy, praising godly Light’s halo.
