Karma

The lonely broken hearted.
Could there be a stronger pain?
Would we make the same mistakes
If we could live our lives again?

If mum and dad had not married.
There would be no such thing as me.
If Shaun and I had not tarried,
where would my three daughters be?

The lonely broken hearted.
Each have their own tale to tell.
Would I swap what I gave birth to?
Not a snowball's chance in hell!

What's for you will not pass you.
We must all lie in our bed.
Divine Karma is our master.
Don't let it mess up your head.

This lonely broken hearted,
is already on the mend.
Life's for living, let's get started.
I've on my dancing shoes again!!

How It Is

Meeting by a charmfull seduction, the ignition as a spark to an engine.
Happiness flourished, blending to a family orientation.
Seeing my Cousin,Shaun in a position i never collectively envisaged.
The meeting of Eileen a pivital point, nevertheless needed taming by her.

Two daughters, single mum took to Shaun as a father, he not been in that parental position in his past, caused uncondtional love. I`m not going to sugar coat or lay pillows for the wrong doings, myself was involved amongst burning the candle at both ends.

However, you could say God sent down only something he had for the right path. Involved in an incident of which Shaun is incarcerated, also deeply regrets. A period of self explanitation, knitting the family bond like strength of a lion. It`s almost comical how good can come from bad, if you can see what i can.

Love is the utmost importance of all. Eileen, no medal could succomb you. The time is almost nigh for the gates to open, a debt of gratitude owed. Although a stunning blow the passing of your Father, unspeakably wrenching. I know that love lives amongst your family, that`ll do me.

Premium Member Sad Halloween

the day after Halloween
on a cheap holiday break
i will never forget
they found your body
two tourists
found face down
in the water
the dreaded call
i got at work

saying they found
your brother
god i thought
let it be anyone else
but it was true
we had so much
more to do
looking off into
the distance
i will always
remember you
as laughter
filled rooms

a large part
of life
not believing
the truth
we wanted him home
three weeks later
his body arrived
our hearts
were ripped
in two

from the wake
to gods house
brothers with father
linking arms
with my father
at the head
of the coffin
i am the oldest son
looking into his eyes
saw so much hurt
wailing in agony
feeling so much pain
hurting inside
looking at
my fathers face

tearing the heart asunder
knowing in carrying you
i was saying goodbye
my little friend
we have played
our last games together
you have gone before me
to that light
at the end

spirits in the sky
brother i miss you
hope one day
we meet again
at heavens gate
together we will share
our little stories again
god bless you

Back To the Barnyard

My name is Tom and I'm the cat here on Manor Farm
Let me introduce you to the gang .
I rule the roost as you will see and ginger the chicken she agrees.
The stable door top half open ,Mr Ed the horse says morning well he is a talking horse !
And daisy giving milk she's my favourite, cant think why !
I stroll over to the sty and give Dave a hi who's one happy looking pig
Shaun the sheep is in his field playing with his kids
and Shep the sheep dog is sat in the shed and he his fast asleep
And that's how he will stay, as I don't fancy being chased today.
Now over to the duck pond to see Donald and his crew. Huey , Dewey, and Louie
And finally to the farm house where the humans live. who are pretty good to me !

However them there humans have some nasty traits
They eat gingers kids for breakfast
Dave is turned into bacon and daisy into steak
Shaun gets the chop with mint and peas and the Donald is sold to the local Chinese
and Sheps pups are sold as a pets.
and Mr Ed is made to chases Fox's. Which is really not the best !
so all in all I'm just saying us animals are the best .

Premium Member Jameson: Neat

Today there'll be wearin' o' the green, pints of Guiness and Jameson... neat.
This was written for an AP contest, from a male's perspective.

There's nothing better than Irish whiskey
to get a lass feeling a bit frisky
So, I found a jigger
that was somewhat bigger
I didn't foresee it becoming risky

Jameson was flowing... best when neat
Colleen, the redhead, was spicey but sweet
Said she likes hers on ice
Slice of lime would be nice
After three, she couldn't stand on her feet

She was mumbling, sounding rather dipsy
Kissing me lustily like a gypsy
I whispered, "Not tonight."
It just didn't seem right
To do the deed while the lass was tipsy

She asked me if I was a Leprechaun
I said, "No, darlin' but my name is Shaun."
She looked a little green
A shade I'd never seen
Three sheets to the wind and the lass was gone

I'm an Irishman but I'm not a lout
Guess I shoulda' offered her Guiness Stout
I carried her to her flat
Tucked her in with her cat
And turned off the light before walking out

Twas a St. Patrick's Day I'd not forget
Nor the bonnie lass that night I'd met
She's the joy of my life
Colleen became my wife
Wedding vows spoken, I'd never regret

Etched

Enemys throughout, the day they very met
fighting tooth and nail, with both warrior hearts
dominance of the town, being the ultimate prize
hatred adding fuel, enlighting inferno to prevail.

My best pal from knee high, would rather do without
the confrontations hanging on him
i will call the oppostion shaun, although fine with me
thriving fear, bullying yet an awesome stature.

The fatal night in question, etched in many minds
a long long fight ended,my pal oblivious towards
a knife was placed into his hand, while recieving extreme beating
lashed out, everything stopped, pal overcome with relief.

At court not guilty verdict, the jury did return
on the basis of harrassment, and all that it entailed.
Yet families effected, can see it from both sides
loss and freedom, though my pal lives with everyday.

Premium Member Wee Shaun

Shaun was a wee little man,
Who was known to sit quiet and plan.
He'd not put on shows,
He looked down his nose,
On those who tried to look grand.

Shaun for himself was prepared,
And helped others for he really cared.
He'd oft lend his hand,
To help beast or man,
Whatever he had he would share.

Other lads in the town called him callow.
They teased him and oft they would harrow,
This small, quiet man,
Who'd lift not his hand,
For these youths were crude and quite shallow.

One Spring day they came upon Shaun,
As he sat in a glade one fine morn.
They'd thought to have fun,
Once again with wee Shaun,
Of a sudden they found he was gone.

Though they searched and they searched all around,
Wee Shaun just could not be found.
The town blamed the youths.
Said in them was no truth,
For they'd treated him like the town clown.

And Shaun stood and watched in delight,
Hidden from all in plain sight,
For he'd changed his visage,
Just so he could visit,
And watch as they locked them up tight.

It seems there was more to Wee Shaun,
Than they knew and now he was gone.
He just disappeared,
And everyone feared,
The youths knew what happened to Shaun.

He returned to the glade the next morn,
And all there welcomed back Shaun;
For the glade was his home,
And no more would he roam,
For Shaun was a leprechaun.

Premium Member Celtic Cat Had One Request

Celtic Cat had one request after she'd used up her nine lives on earth.
She wanted to return to earth to watch her master’s last carriage ride.
I want his casket to be pulled by two Camarillo whites from Perth.
And I want to be able to be tall enough to peer inside…..

So when Shaun O’Leary finally met his maker, Celtic Cat was there.
Invisible to the ones who are not close to the fey, but seen by me.
Where is she? Asked others, looking frantically around in the air.
I was thrilled that I was one of the few intuitive enough to see.

The others used to have the gift of insight, but they had let it lapse.
I saw Celtic Cat and a banshee, they were expertly hidden away.
If you are an empath yourself, this will not be too farfetched to grasp.
I watched Shaun O’Leary and Celtic Cat float to a pink cloud that day.

Cause we’ll whip you into shape
And you’ll see a new you
