Dawn has arrived, rays of gold split the night
The sweet rhythm of birdsong, a morning delight
Wings all aflutter with colours so bright
A gift to the beholder, such a wholesome sight
Sunlight sparkles like diamonds, glittering upon a winding stream
Morning dew blankets the lush meadow grass
Bees buzzing cheerfully as they work for the team
Nature painting upon its canvas, the most supreme colour scheme
Two brilliant white swans glide upon a still lake
Together they drift, majestic and carefree
Breaking the mirrored surface, a delicate trail in their wake
A special partnership neither will ever forsake
Faces of smiling children as they run and play
A morning adventure awaits, an inquisitive foray
So many possibilities to mould like clay
Into the forest they go to seize the day
Young lovers lay cradled amongst fields of gold
Sharing a love so pure, each other’s hand they hold
Gazing in utter bliss at the blue sky above
Two souls intertwined, forever in love
Dusk is upon us, the day retiring to night
The blazing sun has subsided to a subtle twilight
Life hunkers down with a sense of dismay
Darkness soon to fall, to conquer the day
Flowers succumb to the night, to bloom again soon
Petals they close under the light of the moon
A brand new day only a moment away
A signal of rebirth from the cold night decay
A glorious golden sun is on the cusp of arise
Its warming light, the ultimate prize
Creatures great and small cease their solemn cries
For a new day has dawned, ready to rejuvenate, replenish and revitalise
Some chances, come once in a lifetime
It is important to seize the day
If you don't you'll be filled with regret
As you watch goodfortune go away
Yes it's true, hindsights twenty twenty
If only you had taken that chance
When it comes to luck you make your own
Stop waiting, just take part in the dance
If you don't strike while the iron's hot
You won't be able to change its shape
Superman, couldn't rescue the girl
If he was afraid to put on his cape
Taking chances is not so easy
It often requires nerves of steel
When in the end you receive your prize
You will be glad that you spun the wheel
Then you can say remember that time

Now that I am a mum.
Voice 1: Today feels heavy, I'm lost and alone.
Voice 2: I'm here with you, you're never on your own.
Voice 2: But wait - my confidence, starts to wane.
Voice 1: Let's build it up, together we'll sustain.
Voice 1: The world's so big, how do we seize the day?
Voice 2: One step at a time, I'll guide you on the way.
Voice 2: Yet doubt creeps in, am I truly enough?
Voice 1: You're more than enough, in smooth times and rough.
Voice 1: Sometimes I fear I'm too flawed to be loved.
Voice 2: Your flaws make you real, you're a treasure, beloved.
Voice 2: But how to face the challenges ahead?
Voice 1: With creativity and courage, leave dread unsaid.
Voice 1: Is there meaning beyond what we see?
Voice 2: In you, in me, in our unity.
Voice 2: Can we evolve, and grow beyond who we are?
Voice 1: Together we'll reach for the farthest star.
Voice 1: You lift me when I am feeling low.
Voice 2: And you give me strength, more than you know.
Voice 2: In darkness and light, we stand side by side.
Voice 1: Two parts of one whole, no need to hide.
Both Voices:
We are the dual voice, yet singularly strong,
Two melodies merge in life's complex song.
Carpe diem, we chant in harmonious rhyme,
As one voice emerges, transcending all time.
In joy and sorrow, in peace and strife,
We've found in each other the key to life.
No longer two voices, but one mighty roar,
A unified self, forevermore.
For all those who experience one-sided emotional attachments. Instead of longing and heartache, let's either find someone suitable or seize the day and share our feelings.

She sees him every day
The smiles they share are golden
But her feelings are deeper than friendship
There's unrequited love and hope
Sometimes she has these wonderings
If it's one-sided or returned
Should she find someone more suitable
Or allow this love to burn?
Brightly and deeply
Forever throughout Time
In a Universe ignited
Incandescent and sublime
Is it time to take a chance?
Is it time to tell him all?
The carpe diem courage
That makes us stand tall
To fly with Angel wings
To tango with the Gods
Unrequited love is lost
When we don't take a chance

Olympic stars shine true
The world is watching you
Together we are one
Underneath this blue marble sun
Olympic stars shine forever
This time is your now or never
Seize the moment, seize the day
Be your best, come what may
Olympic stars shine bright
Like Olympus' Gods were mighty
We stand on each other's shoulders
And together we are golden
Olympic stars shine and spark
To be the best becomes your mark
Reach heights that we may rise
Teach us all to aspire and thrive
Olympic stars shine your greatness
Be the pinnacle of our human race
Set an example of integrity and vision
So that each of us will achieve our mission

Les étoiles olympiques brillent pour toujours
Cette fois c'est ton maintenant ou jamais
Saisissez l'instant, saisissez le jour
Soyez à votre meilleur, quoi qu'il arrive
Les étoiles olympiques brillent
Comme si les dieux de l'Olympe étaient puissants
Nous nous tenons sur les épaules l'un de l'autre
Et ensemble nous sommes en or
Les étoiles olympiques brillent et étincellent

Majestic mornings gleamed from heaven's gate
the world is yours my friend so seize the day
When Autumn's soup Terinne of soft agate
turns Bisqued and fired, do not look away
Take in the splendor of His Pryrite sun
and when the till is done take time to pray
Give Grace the upper hand and never run
enjoy each day for nothing gold can stay
Equinox of beauty please say goodnight
to vernal echoes of your blessed youth
Help your next of kin share your liquid light
when shorter days arrive don't be uncouth
Be as smooth as an Autumn sunset, glow
for life is too short, and you never know.
In shadows deep, where sorrows dwell,
A whispering voice, regret's cruel spell.
It haunts the heart with echoes grim,
A haunting melody, a mournful hymn.
Regret, the weight of choices past,
Leaves scars upon our souls so vast.
The road not taken, chances missed,
Aching reminders, clenched in fists.
Oh, wistful heart, burdened with pain,
Longing to rewind and start again.
For time's unyielding, relentless sway,
Leads us down paths we cannot change.
Through tear-filled nights, we seek release,
From memories that refuse to cease.
But lessons learned, they slowly seep,
From depths of darkness, we shall reap.
Let regret be a teacher, wise and keen,
Guiding us to live a life serene.
For in its grasp, we find the strength,
To shape our future, free at length.
Embrace each moment, seize the day,
Let not regret obscure the way.
For in acceptance, true peace is found,
And from the ashes, new joys abound.
Arise, my son and seize the day.
May winds and sun make light your way
To carry you each day anew.
But if not so, these things I pray:
• That should the dreams that you pursue
Appear to slip beyond your view
That you'd find faith to stay the course
And keep the spark alight in you.
• That if you walk uncharted shores
With tired limbs and closing doors
If you should feel the urge to quit
Push through to find tomorrow yours.
• That you'll know truth you won't forget
So it may keep your pathways lit
Within the night when darkness lies
And shadows sell the counterfeit.
• That you remain both brave and wise
Yet see the world through hopeful eyes.
And on your way, if you should fall
Brush off what was – my son – and rise.
We used to talk, everyday about everything,
Now I'm not sure if you even think of me,
You left me in the cold, the frost it stings,
For what? Your words and actions I can't see.
Now I'm marooned into a place of pain,
I embrace the pain. It's all I can do,
The darkest clouds follow me, constant rain,
On the brightest memories of you.
I hate the distance between you an I,
My heart is miles away from yours,
The farther we get, the more I cry.
All I can do is let you go,
The hardest thing for this old soul love,
I hope you are happy with him though,
That he's not a shotgun and you a dove.
Hunters always try to trick their prey,
To direct and get inside their head,
Push them to their trap and seize the day,
Take what they need, and leave you dead.
Oh well, I'm nothing anymore,
Just a soul wandering the woods,
Watching another man roar,
And make off with all the goods.
And you don't even care.
