Now That I Am a Mum

A precious mum as you are
Every single moment I now think
I should have spared
To tell you
You do have all the credit
For what you are
For what you have done
Sorry mum
I know how it feels
Now that I am a mum.
An adored mum as you are
Every single occasion I have missed
To cherish you
To give you all the tribute
For all your sublime and genuine love
I failed
To show you the very value of who you are
Sorry mum
I know how it aches
Now that I am a mum.
A treasured giver as you are
Devotion is one drop of your ocean
A mighty creature
Waging war against your very wants and passions
A strenuous fighter
Protecting your very pride
Reigning as a queen in your monarchy
Sorry mum
I know how it bleeds
Now that I am a mum
A dearest mum as you are
I have taken you for granted
I failed to appreciate your very presence
In the life of mine
Time has made me cry and whine
A pity for me
A healing from my injuries hard to find
I failed
To say I love you
I failed
To say I thank you
For all the flow of care and love
Short was your lifetime
I failed to seize the day with you on time
Sorry mum
I know how it feels
Now that I am a mum.

Such a funny thing time is, it sure pass away way before the blink of an eye, and we can only value something when we face it ourselves, and it sure is a amazing thing, a girl who was once a small little daughter of her daughter, now that girl herself is a mother and has her own child, again it's time, and it never stops,
