Premium Member Aqua Rose

Deep in the Caribbean coral reef;
A bright blue rose, one salted leaf.
The stem has strength of ancient gods.
The roots of time have not withered
Her petals of truth grow strong with age
Her story unfolds from a watery cage
Her stamen: the history of man.
I knew her well, Aqua, my wife.
No longer seen with mortal eye,
You don't hear her sobs: her cry
No sweet hello's, no fond good-bye.
Memories of undying love.
Floating serenely in waters blue
The hottest sunshine filtered through.
The Aqua Rose is my love true.
Her watery grave shall be redeemed.
Long before Aqua was a rose;
She was innocence, personified
She was mine and I was hers
Soon we shall share Eternity.

Thoughts came from
up above
& this is what
they had to say
Hold tight to your vision
of right now for there
is no tomorrow
or yesterdays
We're walking through
doors where timelines
may not reside or are
seen where you lay
Interdimensional transit
is real like card tricks
not just an illusion
of light rays
Allusion to facts
some might say
is part of the delusions
of one mind
I'd say we're all a
little deluded
so please pray
to make it through
hell in Gods time
There's innumerable paths
through one mind
find one that will lead
to your truth
Easy to see when you've
freed once bound eyes
that no longer hide
from cold proof
This concrete jungle
eats your youth
& on this plane you can't
stop as time flys
Before you know it
age starts to resemble
a cell bar
now it's hard to
divide your lifeline
Are you in your left
or right mind?
Maybe it's better
not to choose just
one side
If riding the fence is
a sin be hell bound
until integration is
reached & you rise
Wake up to higher truth
in real time
& see where you
fall in his eyes
All you see in each other
is twin peaks
growing toward what's
imagined in high sky

shine
a different

relaxed

enthuse
the heart

 a
free

to be

a
tantalising

NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.

Premium Member So Many Colorful Birds

If you want a treat, look up the most colorful birds
Ever made by God, and you will come up with the best.
Paradise tanager, red-bearded bee-eater, macaw. My word!
What a fantastic creature in and out of her glorious nest.

The kingfisher has an azure blue that is a most unique hue.
Rainbow lorikeet brings God’s promise to us. Hope alive too.
Violet crowned wood nymphs are a turquoise, matching the sea.
There are so many lovely birds, and not all in a tree.

The peacock has always been amazing to me.
The male, who has all the glorious colors that you see.
The female peacock is brown and dull, kind of plain.
So she can hide her chick’s nest in the barn, or in a storm drain.

No matter what bird color you love or admire.
Know that there are some birds out there the colors of fire.
I have not seen them all, for I have not traveled to some places.
But I admire God’s creatures on social media spaces.

Poetry Soup

Poetry Soup

Here in this soup
We have many ingredients
And we need them all
It's the unknown blend of spice
That fills the soul with comfort
Many voices that seek to be heard
With many coming to read a poem to relax
Here we can be a part of the world
And learn from places we never been
We can stir in our emotions , love
Hate, depression, anxiety, seasons of the year
And come to learn you are not the only one
No matter the circumstances and others
Could embrace and receive strength in your words
There are many where this could be
There only place to be heard
I love it because everyone does not
Have to worry about appearances are fear
No rolling eyes to be seen or weird faces : )
We can scroll on if we need to control the tongue
Show the world your views in your mind
The good and the bad to seek better
There are many different styles to choose
From to be creative if you choose
Some are so delicate with words it's art
We have opportunities to encourage so many
All these creative and seeking individuals
Just needing someone to care and understand
There are many days if nothing to write about
We can come on here and encourage in comments
There I have had poems come to me in doing this
Poems are the beauty of expression
To receive and to give comfort to ones soul
As a warm cup of soup on a cold winter night
I am not a promoter of the poetry soup for gain : )
Just a simple guy that enjoys the entertainment
And friends I have come to know through poems

Secrets

A million things swimming around in my head.
Things I could say that should never be said.

Things I could tell that you’d never believe.
Things that I’ve seen that are too far to see.

Things that I’ve heard that are not made of sound.
Things that I know which have never been found.

Things that could change the world. Things that could heal.
Things that would terrify were they revealed.

Things of the type based on all that I’ve seen,
are best left unspoken and kept in between

myself and the one who has shown them to me.
The one who keeps whispering continually.

In my mind they’re all swimming, an ocean too vast
to contain it all so… I’ll risk all that have.

Premium Member Love Is

Love is as big as the galaxy,
No way can it be contained
                                   Sickness and death
                                  Cannot ebb its breath
                           Love's bonds mend broken hearts
Or can rip them all apart

Love's bigger than the human race
                                It shines in every place
In the loyal stance of a precious pet
Whose long passing hurts us even yet

                            Love holds the freest creatures
Whose wings led them on great quests
                           Flying from the far Northeast
To the warmth of the Southwest,
Love holds them to a nest

Love is bigger, love is greater of a power
                                         Than a star
It can be seen in a purpose
                                 No matter where we are
                                 Created by a loving hand
A power of Light at His command
Written in poem, Painted in skies
                               On epitaphs and lullabies

Save Your Tears

I saw Man City with no hope
It cheers me up to think of Arsenal
May be, I will witness another UCL Arsenal season
But it is better I don't say how I feel
Though, I am gonna be better

It has never happened like this
May be in the ancient time I don't know of
For all I have seen, it has always been real
When one team is to serve a ban

Lets not pretend as if all is right
Appealing two years ban
Can't turned to be zero
Hmm! It could be money thing
Or the affluence of the club owners

Let all fans save their tears
We are up and doing well
FA cup will be good after all
Whatever comes may
Arsenal shall win EPL next season

Premium Member Butterflies, Rainbows and Unicorns

Wings of golden yellow, orange and red and black
Fluttered past my lazy body as I laid upon my back
I watched it flitter about flowers in splendid bloom
As Spring turned into Summer on the 21st day of June

Then it landed on a flower, whose likes I'd never seen
Multi-colored petals from a stalk of aquamarine
And when it flew away, a rainbow trailed behind
Its colors shining so brightly it nearly made me blind

I got up to chase the butterfly following the rainbow trail
Across the flowered meadow into a strange new vale
When I stopped to catch my breath and took a look around
A beautiful white unicorn is the sight I found

She drank from a sparkling stream of water pure and clear
She startled just a little bit as I started to get near
I reached out my hand, to stroke her silken mane
When I woke up in the meadow from the drops of falling rain

Premium Member Why Daddy Says We Must Visit Grandma

I prob’ly should not be a snitch
I’m worried my Grandma’s a witch
Cos I overheard
My dad use that word
He’s spot-on; I’ve seen her nose twitch!

In secret she’s called the old bat
(I must keep that under my hat)
When we get out the car
I must smile at Grandma
And avoid her hissing black cat!

Her kitchen exudes a foul smell
Dad claims that it’s her latest spell
When she mentions food
We’re not being rude
but exit her witch house from hell!

I think she’s dad’s mother in law
I have heard the phrase used before
Her real name is Fanny
I must call her Granny...
She’s loaded, my parents are poor!

Dad’s hoping when Gran kicks the bucket
We’ll live in her house in Nantucket
So I must visit her
And put up with cat fur
When Gran gives old candy I suck it!
