I would harken back to passions of realm sublime
As melodies of beloved past endearingly chime
Appealing to yesteryears when love was in prime;
If only I could endeavor to journey back in time.
Strolling with you in springs of blooming meadows
We will greet paradise, euphoric thoughts renew,
Indulgent in amorous music heartbeats compose;
If only I could decode secrets, musings of souls coo.
There would be no laments, no recollections irate,
Nary a hint of grief, clenching strife would berate,
For heavenly bliss in your domain will forever elate;
If only I could manage to alter the course of fate.
I will restage how dear-Venus inflamed our mood
As astral orchestra strummed twinkling stellar tune
While courting your fervor waltzing stars wooed;
If only I could succeed to entice the doting moon.
I remember your smile, lauding blushing twilight,
Enamored in lyrics of hearts, fervent verses recite,
O, those moonlit desires would rekindle tonight;
If only I could seduce, reveries of romantic night.

A galaxy of thoughts...
Influential notaries donated
Given to me; freely...
I am most grateful
Educating me, the reader...
I am a learned man
Taking in all that is offered...
I relish the amenities, assortments...gifts
Pleasurable reads comfort my soul
Whilst in solitude...
On quiet lonely nights...
My mind metamorphizes
From a world of hell...
Into a world of peacefulness
Intrigued be'ith my soul...
as the ink spills
Whetten my palms...
stain them eternal, seduce me...
Undress me with your pen
For I...
For I am an easy get

how does the night
seduce me
in his ebony suspension
over and over
how could a child of ivory,
crave serenity
in total darkness
I watch my skin
marshal geese,
a shiver whispers
up my spine
I burnt the cello
rasping strings
till their dark dance,
encouraged a stars birth
and the sky glimmered life
I dismembered a violin
on platinum dunes of dust,
eclipsing the face of Venus
that never failed to turn,
now braided in glass
I am,
the beating drum
that serenades twilight,
the flute that trembles
birds to flight,
lifting the saffron veil,
between this day
the next
I live with this knowing,
I will never be free
cutis anserina move me,
over and under
she rises up
to whisper her secrets
dawn is coming,
as maypoles of ribbon-ed light
play the sunrise melody,
archangels gather
glancing over his
shoulder, teasing to
cavort with lovers
the world over
Don Giovanni
(night)
in his ebony robes
consumes me,
I am torn,
into darkness
as fibrils of light
a breath out of reach
~Roses~
(Dove's Cooing)
Red roses
a tribute
to loved ones
roses have
very long
history
legend says
that Eve gave
A kiss to
a white rose
in Garden
of Eden.
Cupid bled
on roses
'cause lost love
instead, then
another says
Cleo strew
room with red
roses to
seduce Mark
Anthony
with perfume
and her woes
The wealthy
Romans lay
on beds of
roses too,
these are a
few of the
legends I
share with you
roses are
beautiful
a nice way
to express
affection
for someone
you care and
love profess
so, give them
roses and
will make them
smile if sad,
roses are
magical
make eyes glow
and hearts glad.

~Author's Notes:
The "Dove's Cooing" is a poetry style created by Patricia Ann Farnsworth- Simpson.
When I stopped
taking Sertraline
again,
I felt too much
all at once
including
a cacophony
of anxiety
I hate to acknowledge
that even I
need a little help
to get by
I didn’t choose my mind
in the lottery of life
I decide what I put
In my body,
everyday
grapefruit juice
for health,
avocados
because
I love
their shade
of green,
and meat
because
I crave
meat
what I choose
to put in my mouth
directly affects
everything
all my little,
daily outcomes
don’t seduce me
as much as you,
sexy Devil
little pills can do so much
I don’t want
to tap dance with the Devil
when I should be sleeping
Because I didn't sing as
I should, now I'm just going
to live in poetry ...
To the loose laugh I held,
when in hurry did not ride
to everything I learned,
and what I kept silent ...
To the oaths I lied,
to the desires that I hid
and sins that i have not
committed ... but I longed ...
The truth I swore
do not betray,
to the lie that made me
seduce,
the chances I missed,
in the loves I didn't love ...
To the regrets that
for what I didn't have for what I am
and that I never was ... so
am and will be ... for
madness I finally gulped
when all this
I admitted ...!
For contest I must write; it’s plain to see
My older writes ignored; so hear my plea
If this, my write, gets picked, here is the deal
With post upon this rhyme, we’ll set the seal
Read not just contest wins, read others too
It tears my heart when I don’t hear from you
The incense of my soul released in rhyme
Yet only winning lines seduce your time
And so I brave this challenge that I face
I try to write a poem laced with grace
The thoughts are stilted and the words belie
A spirit bound to rules, longing to fly
I’ve bared my heart and soul; will it suffice?
Please see pre-contest me; I’ve paid the price!

In comic art;
Fine lines speak clear
As etchings start.
Sketches now pose
To tell a tale;
Art in fine dose
As plot avails.
Comics can be
A source of ease;
Tension you see
Can play and tease.
Good versus bad
In clash and fight;
Feelings now pad
What's wrong or right.
Seduce the mind
With evil spice;
Watch good you find
Turn not so nice.
Read the story
And smell the plot;
Things turn sorry
In awful lot.
Thought illustrates
What pictures cast;
In abrupt state,
Watch who outlasts!
Ideas of poise
In picture sketch;
Comics now voice
Sheer art to match.

I had been fooled
She used her foreign to-meness
To arouse me into
Wanting her
She had been taught such
To find facts
Which she could use against
Me
My teaching never included
That of the body
and my job made it
easy for me to be used,
This her samplings of together ess
Made either subhuman from
Wanting. Or extrahuman from
Needing. A desire of her flesh
made togetherness tolerable
I looked forward to being
With her even as she was my
enemy.
This the nights of froth,
Would be defined through our
Love making. She made time
enough to seduce me her time
and labor as a woman, could make
even the scariest of sameness
In afterlude nonexistent that she
Was a woman in all affairs of
womanism!
The Chill of loneliness are warmed
By her expression to
Procreate and
Be mine!
Act out in script the ways you love me
thru rhythm and rhyme say you care
sing me till you perfect
me thru your voice
sing me over and over again
be best to know
be best in show
sing me, sing me in song
quiet the audience with your voice
let the music to have it's voice
compliment the composers thought
sing me. sing me, you'll know when to start
chose your voice
soprano?
tone me to alto
but when the range is high,
be you make them fell, make them feel!
seduce the audience draw them in
clearer and clearer
don't try to be there friend. sooth the words with your tone
sing the song til the music's gone
than when the conductor starts back in
make the music and word to blend
sing me, sing me, sing me!
sing me to you feel like you love me.
